You react to things the way that your character would react. What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using information that you found out out-of-character that your persona wouldn’t know about. In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) As a child, Tennallar always had an instinct to help those around him. He would yell at bullies and valiantly stand up for his friends. He grew up in Haelun’or and has stayed there the majority of his life (other than when the ‘Aheral temporarily stayed in Fi’ceru.) Despite the fact that so many were grateful for his brave deeds, his upbringing taught him that it was foolish to resort to violence. He was put down by the ones closest to him. Tennallar tried not to care what his parents were saying, but it was too much. He was constantly being told that he acted like an orc, that he fought like a wimp, and that his ego was too big. Because of this, Tennallar decided that he would alienate his parents and practice his combat techniques. Tennallar has become a brave warrior, but the bruises from his childhood never healed. This leaves him confident on the surface, but lacking self-confidence severely on the inside. Tennallar is a typical High Elf: he is very “pure.” He looks down upon those who are a menace to society (therefore, anybody who isn’t a pure breed or who acts impure.) He also doesn’t use his martial abilities for anything other than to help those around him. He is a fairly serious person and his priorities are in the right place. Despite his tough demeanor, he is very kind, compassionate, and thoughtful. Tennallar is decent at concealing his emotions, but when his self-consciousness gets the best of him he becomes defensive and slightly cruel. He can usually pull himself together quickly, though, and is immediately apologetic. Tennallar wishes to devote his life to making others’ lives the best possible. Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Tennallar is serious yet kind and will do anything to make sure those who are pure are safe. He tends to be over-protective sometimes, and he also never complains. He also leaves a first impression as having a big ego because he acts like he has more muscle than he does. He enjoys good conversation and a kind environment. He also likes cooking for some reason. He doesn’t like people who are impure or rude. He also hates bad food or stinky surroundings as he has pretty high standards. He won’t complain, though. Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Tennallar wants to become a valiant soldier who is recognized for protecting his society. Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)Fighting, reassuring, and he’s pretty charismatic. Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) He’s awful at cooking. He also is bad at being honest when it comes to his opinion. Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) He’s about 6 feet 6 inches tall. He has a thin layer of muscle and looks tidy. He has blonde hair that looks golden when hit directly with sunlight and blue eyes that always make eye contact.
