What is roleplaying?: roleplaying is when you make up a character (someone who you are not) and play in that character in a role-play world. It can mean doing something you don’t want to do and going with the flow. This also means being creative and doing things they would do. What is metagaming?: Mixing when you’re out of character with when you’re in character or the other way around. What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Doing something that’s more powerful that you couldn’t actually do. Like for example saying “I stole all your things and took over your house.” In-Character Information Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Galiya a Wood Elf was born in a beautiful treehouse with her father and mother. Her mother Isic, a was beautiful and kind. Her father Lok, had a big heart and was a strong warrior who loved his family. Galiya looked up to her father and wanted to be strong like him. Everything was perfect. One day when Galiya was 6 years old her father set off to on adventure to see if he could reason with the orcs (after they denied his trading request.) He died that night and Galiya wept a thousand tears. As Galiya grew older she was known for her beauty. By this many people didn’t talk to her. No one even touched her. Jealousy fell upon every word she spoke. She felt the orcs had put a curse on their family the night her father died. She hated them for that. She soon found out that she was not as strong as her father either. Once a group of elves her age wanted to see who could rest an old piece of medal that was left from a blacksmith on their ears the longest. Everyone succeeded so far. When it was Galiya’s turn her ears drooped down and the medal dropped. Everyone laughed and called her Weak Ear. She was haunted after that day and always tucked her ears in her hair. As she played with other mechanisms to try to see what she was good at she often couldn’t carry them. Once her warrior trainer let her pick up a heavy sword. She dropped it immediately. “Your arm is just to weak now Galiya. You must rest. You’ll have the strength in a few years” Her trainer claimed. It was just to long. She had to get stronger before then. She had endless trainers and instructors. but it never really did go right. Galiya’s mission is to conquer her weakness and get revenge on the orcs. Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Galiya loves baking and has a thing for chocolate cake. Loves to climb. Loves special occasions. Dislikes earrings and Orcs. Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Galiya wants to be a warrior but isn’t great at it. She takes classes and tries her hardest, she wants to be seen as the strong one but is seen as the weak elf. Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Climbing. Something she can actually do that involves arm strength. Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Having power, being strong Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Her hair is brown with a tint of gold in the sunlight. Green eyes, green headpiece. wears a green dress but is often caught wearing her dad’s armor (with a few additions). She hides her ears with her hair.
