We welcome friends and family from across the realm to witness the marriage of the Artiev Edric Colborn to the beautiful lady Esteri Adrienne of Sarkozic in the Chapel of Saint Emma of Woldzmir in Petra on the 20th of Todias’ Bounty, 1898. Fealty to Balian

The House of Sarkozic has been presented with a seemingly everlasting dilemma with the fall of the Kingdom of Oren. In this time of constant uncertainty the patriarch of Sarkozic, Franz Arthur, travelled on foot from Sedan with his fellow crows to Balian. There he knelt before the King John of Balian and swore his everlasting fealty.

Let it be known to all that the House Sarkozic pledge their allegiance on this day, the 24th of Horen’s Calling 1895, to King John of House Novellen, the sovereign one true sovereign of Balian. The ancient house swears to uphold all Balianian values and offers support to their new King. In return, the house finally returns to a time of peace and stability and with that, prosperity.

Franz prepares a dress and a wig of woven yarn with every intention of making an appearance. 

The Baron, Franz of Pompourelia, inhaled another lemon cake with even more reason to celebrate!

Franz cleared his throat and began to recite a quote from the peace treaty between Acre and Oren "The third condition, The men and women still loyal to the now-dissolved Oren, shall be allowed to go free, to wherever they so wish. They are the masters of their own destinies, and shall have the choice of where they reside and dwell. No grudges will be held against them." 

Franz sighed at the missive that lay on the counter before him. He soon swiveled about on his heel, continuing his raiding of Vienne by stuffing jewelry into his overflowing satchel. "This one looks expensive?" He held up a diamond ring for his two accomplices to see.

The Baron Pompourelia, Franz Arthur Sarkozic frowns upon reading the missive, allowing a short sigh of sorrow to escape him. “Orenia, why must everyone attempt to divide you.” Franz then set the missive down upon the table at his side and murmured “Let us pray it’s just another failed attempt.”

The Swan Saturnalia of 1881

Orenia is home to the largest population of Swan in the entirety of the Realm, with large swathes of her land solely populated by the aquatic bird.  The Petran Swan is a symbol of freedom and prosperity felled by citizens of Orenia, whilst also representing love and beauty. With the Harvest season, the Kings Silver Jubilee, and the Astercalia all on the horizon, the Keeper of Swans, Franz Arthur Sarkozic sees fit to announce the first of the quadrennial Swan Saturnalia, meant to act as an augural for the upcoming events. Thus, beforehand, the Keeper of Swans is to collect, feed and subject the swans to a census. Following this, they are to be released by the citizens of Orenia into the River Petra during a ceremony of great grandeur on the 12th of Godfrey’s Triumph, 1881.

Hands folded, Franz Arthur Sarkozic sits at his desk, eagerly awaiting applications from Orenia's future Architects.

From the Sarkozic Residency at Ivanovich Five a loud cry of annoyance could be heard, its echo reflecting off the city walls, Franz Arthur angrily stormed towards the limestone fireplace and flung the notice in, the parchment quickly engulfed by the flame. "The Honey Clu- NAY, the Balian Brats will pay for their acts against the Lady Cheese!" He immediately began to pen the Mariana Antoinette. @Cepheid

Franz adored his self-portrait. "The ladies will swoon over me, I'm handsome and artistic!? What's there not to love?"
