  1. MC Name: Chryasor

    Character's Name: Kai M'rii Sahnai

    Character's Age: 23

Character's Original Race (N/A if not applicable):

           Kha’tigrasi

    Transformed form:

             N/A

    Creator's MC Name:

             N/A

    Creator's RP Name:

             N/A

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

The kharajyr are bipedal cat-like humanoids who were created after the descendants by metztli, the godess of time.

She made them as, in her eyes, creatures of perfection.

The kha were to begin with very religious and prayed often to Metztli, sacrificing descendant pray to their godess. but when a leader fell to heresy and stopped praying to her, she got angered and set off a volcano on the island the kharajyr called home.

As such, the four kinds of Kharajyr, the pantera, tigrasi, leparda and cheetrah led by their ‘tla found their way to the descendants, where they began carving out a place for their own civilization.

These four subraces, while being the same race and even being able to ahve children with one another, are very distinct from one another.

The tigrasi are the largest, often over six feet tall with more musclemass with the rest, they’re at times seen as the soldiers of the kha.

The pantera average out at a little under six feet, and are well known for being just as stealthy as their namesake, often experts at both physically being sneaky and moving without being seen, but also being good businessmen and skileld at lucrative affairs.

The leparda are the most balanced out kha, very comparable to humans in size and strength, but are still as quick as its brethren.

And lastly, the cheetrah are even smaller, often more agile and quick in exchange, but lack significantly more musclemass than the rest of the kha.

The kharajyr themselves are anatomically different from the other humanoids around, as they have digitrade legs, feline head with jaws filled with sharp fangs inside, catlike eyes and ears, claws and a tail.

They can, and most prefer to, move on two legs, but if the situation calls for it they can go down on all fours and outrun most if not all other intelligent creatures with some effort.

And finally, the history of the kharajyr after joining the descendants have since the beginning been plagued with unfortune, multiple wars with  orcs and such that they’ve lost, and in general the slow decline of their people to the very brink of extinction at times, though most recently new hope for their kind has sprung up.

For example, MineCraft fantasy world plate armor takes less than an hour to put on,

Real armour doesn’t take an hour to put on. I’ve used that, I do historical fighting as a hobby. Armour is involved. It takes maybe minutes to suit up, sometimes less, sometimes more if I’ve just woken, but never has it been close to an hour.

And no I don’t need a crane to be able to sit down somewhere or stand up again.

Also on another point, I’d have to agree with some other posts and say that CRP should be omre fun and should be more focused on the characters.
Like, I sure as **** don’t have practical things for CRP on my chars, I picked weapons and armour that fit their personality and fighting styles that work the same way for them that I can still RP out relatively alright.

But like, daggers and a kinda shitty crossbow doesn’t work against plate, which is what ninety percent of people are always wearing as everyday clothing. Even some mages, but oh well.

I get why, its more protective, its easy to emote *Has plate, the sword bounces off* and its a lot more safe to go to places then, and for some characters it makes sense to wear armour when around town. Guards, as an example, but I do doubt the hordes of people all wearing plate armour as everyday clothing. While also complaining there’s no smiths around.

And also Tato has a good point of how incredibly dismissed murder is on lotc. Yes, I contribute to this, because its a much easier way to solve some problems (still sorry for the duel-ending Tato) and in a lot of cases, its either you get murdered or you murder them so hey.

But there should still be other consequences for losing combat, I’ve taken a habit of marking people with a scar on an old character I had instead of killing, or even going through what made them lose and giving a mini-lesson instead of just gutting them, it was fun. More relatively creative solutions like that should be seen a lot more.

And yes before it gets pointed out, I’m personally terrible with many of the things this post discussed, being willing to lose, playing armour correctly, all that, but I try. Occasionally.

  3. It sounds interesting for me. Something that could be really cool would be something like a multi-stage siege with this kind of system. Let’s say, it begins with group A, a bunch of scouts, having to check out the forticifcations and sneak around, then room B goes in to set up a staging ground for the army. Once the camp is set up, the rest go in, now there’s a new RP spot where the rest of the event-chain can be based from, the big army camp for everyone, and thats it for the week, now people can plan and gather people and resources and stuff in the new camp.
Then some group prods at the defenses to see how they work, maybe some other group has to go out and take out some outposts or soultrees or something elsewhere, and then do things like that for a few weeks and the single battle event could be stretched out into a whole chain of events telling a larger story.

Something like this would encourage cooperation between different groups, because no one group is big enough to do everything, give more context to the events, make them more accessible since you only need to make one time of many instead of a single laggy PVE battle, which you might miss and therefore miss the big event. And it would also mean the side-events aren’t locked to smaller groups, since it’d be easier to get involved in them so you know the whole story instead of just the smaller bits you hear during the big world-events.

Of course, as dingo mentioned, you need a really good team to pull it off.

And yes I realize this post is an utter mess and much bigger than the original one

  4. The map isn’t too big, I think its about the size of Axios?

The issue is rather that the map is full of nothing. A large area full of absolutely nothing with the active nations spread far apart which makes it extremely discouraging to ever leave the place you are because it’ll take half an hour to go to the place you want to check for RP, and another half an hour to walk back to where you started if there’s nothing there.

Along this sprinting on the roads you’re likely to pass dosens of abandoned freebuilds just sitting there, not being removed, not being used, they’re just there for no seeming reason other than for one random person to sit in a few of them alone, proclaming themselves leader of some big group thats never around.

Basically, if the nations were all close to the cloud temple it’d be fine, if freebuild didn’t cover the entire map it’d be fine, if the out edges of the map were wilderness with stuff to explore like ruins and forests with event sites instead of just more freebuild it’d be fine.

    In my opinion, at least.

  5. Alden sighs as he hears the news and paces back into the tavern, rubbing his temple “I told you to stop this madness. I told you... Oh well, You’ll die soon, and be at peace.” The elf runs a finger across his cheek as he walks across the room towards a fire, shaking his head multiple times “And so Fenn too falls to barbarism and displaying their dead enemies like some kind of animal in a pissing contest.”

I mean, Matt is pretty much PK'd

    f

I mean, because he got banne for a year, not because he had RP manners and PK'd. And I'm p sure he'll be back after that year is finished. Just saying.
This is a part the orcs are actually good at, if their leader dies they die. Then there are other parts more pvp-based groups have flaws in, I will admit.

  7. Rhys, having been the second one into the fortress just after Aelthir, and having helped hold until the others making up the force could catch up to them takes a moment to rest against the stone walls after the battle. He looks out at the conquered castle, chuckling as he sees the other Ivae'fenn pile up the bodies of the fallen and moving to help them "Well fought, well fought lliran. I enjoyed it immensely. Just hope this luck will continue."

  8. Rhys sighs heavily as the news reached him and drops his sword onto the ground as he begins thinking back to the battle "I never liked you, you put my friend Celaena in much distress due to your insistence of trying to get into an affair with her, and you seemed a fool. I really wanted to punch you after hearing the stories of how you spoke to her, but, you were still a decent man. and For fucks sake, Cela will take hard to this..." He thinks while picking up his own weapon again, looking the blade over for a second "Another brave soldier dead at the evils of this world. There can never be enough, it seems." He sighs heavily and returns into position, gesturing for the younger Ivae'fenn who brought him the news to continue their training, finally speaking up and saying a few simple words "Don't be a hero once you join us against the enemies of the realm, newbie. Heroes die first."

  9. Rhillen sits down by his desk, looking out across the small village where he resides form the window above it. He then looks down at the papers on the tabletop, beginning to write on them one by one, each detail of the battle he observed in preparation for the next

  11. "I must say, I have never heard of this group before. I also don't remember our home being an empire or having vassals.... Ever. Has anyone, ever, given this guy a history book? Or told him about his race? Oh well" Rhys sighs from inside the walls of Fenn, screeching internally

  12. I mean there's an easy counter to ladders. Make a proper historical wall that has a slight outwards curviture on the top, the you cant climb up because theres wall in the way, and you cant place ladders on the bottom of blocks. So sure, allow ladders on nations, allow insneisble ladder placement, because its easily countered by having a outwards curve on you wall.

  13. Rhillen blinks, reading over a second time "Well... He's certainly something new at least. Slightly mad. Definitively needs advisors. But i support this. He would do good to change them. And likely be replaced after dying in a fight when they're on the right path and they will settle down again. More or less exactly what i recommended them to do. Show their strenght and then retreat."

  14. "Oh, the Aheral's five-hundredth and sixty seventh reform. I wonder what will happen this time. Oh. Nothing. Like always. They need to get some true changes and proper leadership to actually do something. This is all just what was before with very few slight changes. Sad, really." Comments Rhillen, storing the documen away with the others

  15. Rhillen sighs heavily as he hears of Odessa's death, dipping his head in silence for a moment "A shame. She was intelligent. Dilusional. Ignorant. Hateful. But intelligent. And she was changing for the better in the end. But perhaps it was best this way. The less of the old and archaic elves there are overall the higher the chances of younger, more modern and intellectual ones will step forward. Perhaps bring the elves into another olden age when not held back anymore. We may never see such, but hope will remain." He steps outside of his home, taking a moment before grabbing his chosen weapon, a steel rapier with silver coverings, crafted by Haelun'or's most skilled smiths, and plunges it into the ground. He stands over it, head bowed "Acaelan ahereh naean'leh."
