What is roleplaying?:
Roleplay is the portrayal of a person or character. It is also the act of taking a “role” that is different form yourself as a whole or loosely based upon yourself.
What is metagaming?:
Metagaming is using Out of Character (OOC) information to your persona’s benefit. An example would be that you know a player is carrying a knife OOC, but your character does not. If you was to say, you’re carrying a knife before he even shows it or tells you IRP, it would be Metagaming.
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?:
Power gaming or power-emoting is an act of unfairness. Power-emoting is when you or someone else, uses an emote that the other will not have a chance to react upon it.
For example:
*I’d take his shield and hit him with it* This would be unfair as the person would not have time to react. A better example would be *I’d go to take his shield*

Biography (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)
Astaroth was born in Ker'nor (Axios) as an orphan and an only child, his mother died during childbirth and his father was abusive and a drunk who had human friends who would watch him be beat and laugh at Astaroth's misfortune, his only way out was to brutally murder his father and run away (it is this traumatic experience that shapes him today, the only thing that can make him extremely angry are hearing about his father and humans). Due to his actions he had no choice but to grow up without a home until he was picked up by a band of thieves that consisted of different races making his early life fully involved with stealing and murders. He would travel from group to group, which finally ended with him being abandoned due to incompetence, once betrayed by the group he followed and left to die, it is due to this that he has trust issues and prefers to be alone, though he does have acquaintances and friends.
Astaroth despises humans due to his past experiences with them and sees every human as predictable to him, Astaroth also despises humans because when he was travelling Axios as a young thief, the human thieves of the group who beat him up, took his remaining possessions and scorched his right arm severely, this is shown from the bandage he always wears around his right arm at all times, he is often reminded of the horrors of the world and usually sits in caves and dark places to escape from the outside world and the reality of his upbringing. despite this he always manages to keep his calm and his wit at some times, barely keeping him sane. Astaroth is not a very religious person, he never really understood it and uses logic to overpower religious beliefs, however this does not mean the thought of a 'God' hasn't crossed his mind. Astaroth sympathies with common crime committers and will even help commit the crime for self satisfaction or even a price, he believes that money holds more value than common life due to his thief upbringing.

He loves being alone in the dark with a strong hated taste for humans. He has a minor case of split personality disorder which does not seem to be improving, despite this he is aware of his true nature and keeps it suppressed by acting calm, collected and witty. he likes money and performing dark deeds.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?)
He aspires to be the leader of his own nation /country to create his own paradise for others.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)
He is a great strategist, has basic combat skills and empowers people through his cunning speeches despite not being knowledgeable of the ancient elven tongue., a natural leader and excellent thieving skills due to early life.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)
He has trust issues due to his past, he is about average on terms of combat. Hearing about his father triggers his split personality causing him to act recklessly and go into somewhat of a blind rage. being in the middle of Large crowds tend to cause him discomfort.

He wears greyish black clothes and has dark grey skin and has one red eye, he is 6ft, has white/grey hair and wears a bandage around his right arm which hides burns and scars from his father and a group of humans.
