Marcus dispatched the orders for the citizens wanting new land and homes in the well wooded area to the north. The legion have also been dispatched to patrol and keep the peace. The actions with the military went well, both the training and standardization of equipment. Tiberius was glad to see his legion performing efficiently and with pride. They seemed to be a unstoppable force and were somewhat battle tested from the goblins they had fought. Marcus after giving out the orders to the legions, ordered new roads to be built in and outside of the city for better transportation of goods and travel. Word around the city is that Anvil is thriving. The people of the city have never been warlike and their coffers are likely filled to the top. He liked the idea of having a professional military like the empire once did and it’s organization would make things much easier. The First Colovian Legion would be officially commissioned shortly after their rest for their hard work, but much laid ahead. Tiberius Acacious would take the command as Legatus of the legion. Tiberius is a well liked man and the announcement of him leading the legion would bring moral to a high. The centurions who came to Marcus were met with warm welcome and there was no need for demands to be made. Marcus assured the soldiers more was to come. Another small recruitment order was made to fill the ranks of the men lost to the first battle with the Goblins. Tiberius and Marcus both agreed that standardization of the military’s equipment would be a good move towards the future. As well as the increase on the military standards. A new training program was designed to make the new legionaries disciplined and strong willed. To finish the problem with the Goblins an idea was hatched, one that potentially could go awful, but it was a plan nonetheless. To help the neglected economy of Kvatch regulations and unneeded rules are to be gone. He was not happy whatsoever at the loss of 42 men and the news of goblins being in the area especially since they are in the thousands. “Half of a century gone. And nothing I could do about it.” Marcus said in a rough voice to his wife Cerana as she rubbed his back. “I’ll drive that scum far from here. They’ll not touch a hair on the head of any man, woman or child as long as I draw breath..” Marcus reached for ink and parchment and wrote a recruitment order, enough men to form a legion. His wife looked at the parchment with widened eyes. Before she could say anything Marcus stood up and began getting dressed in his armor, after finishing getting dressed he walked out of the room and started shouting orders to the men standing guard. Marcus paid no attention to the economy of Kvatch knowing the city would be alright if he turned his attention elsewhere. His first order of business was be married. His brothers and sisters were all married, but if he were to rule he needed a bloodline of his own. The next step was to send trade deals to some of the other remaining cities/nations of Tamriel. After sending trade deals, soldiers were to be recruited and trained, 1000 would be sufficient enough to defend the city and the land for now. 500 of those 1000 are to go and scout out the two provinces next to our city for possible expansion.
