Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

The golem is a construct being. There are two types of golems: Thanic and Soulbound. A thanic golem is one of a crystal of thanium in a rune core, which turns heat into mana, fueling the rune core. The persona of a thanic golem is one that is developing, and has less of a chance of becoming unstable. A Soulbound golem is when the soul of a descendant or Kharajyr. This golem has a more developed persona, yet lacks the complete full mind of a descendant, but has a higher chance to rouge.

  2. @Telanir The other works that you have made in the past have put a mixed reputation on you, and I myself disliked those changes, but this post is one of the best changes I have seen!

I also think that raid CD's should still exist, even if they are short, so nations can have their gates open for a short time so players can hop right on in if they want. One might say to establish more rp.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?

    Fire Evocation

Summarise the Lore of this magic(s):

Fire Evocation is the magical art of summoning voidal fire, from the void, into the mortal realm. In behavior, the fire is exactly the same as normal fire, depending upon the evocationist’s understanding of it. The fire acts the same in many ways, conducting light, heat, etc, except for the fact that it cannot spread like normal fire, that lies upon the caster’s spell. The caster can manipulate many forms of fire: Smoke, a regular yellow, blue, and white.
The mana costs variate extremely depending on the form of fire. When casting in general, you must always start at a connection, the connection connects the caster and the void it’s self.
When casting a yellow (Regular) flame, the flame is one of an average heat akin to a torches, campfires, bonfires, etc... This requires about 2 emotes post-connection.
When casting smoke, one must first achieve a flame of any of the colors, then converting it to the dark substance...This requires an extra emote to augment the fire
When casting blue flame, the mana cost greatly jumps up to quickly tire one out, the heat is akin to the heart of the hottest forges of the mightiest Dwarves, or even hotter, scorching the terrain it is evoked by.
When casting white flame, the mana cost is monumental, easily killing a lone tier 5 caster, not even counting the searing heat that it produces, it would kill any who near it.
So basically, the most dangerous evocation.

    Current Spell Parameters (Timing)

This section in my opinion makes sense, use emotes, not irl time, and who does use irl time?

Ability targeting: How your ability targets people is very important and something to keep in mind when writing your ability. The target/opponent should have a chance to dodge or react to the ability being utilized.

    • Short Range (Physical Contact): Abilities that require physical contact between the user and the target shouldn’t allow for someone to walk up, place their hand on someone, and invisibly gank them. Instead, the ability should be visible to some extent or should have some build-up that can be felt to allow for the target to react.
    • Medium Range (Attacks within /rp distance): Abilities that harm people from afar should give the target a chance to dodge or react to the ability in some regard. Projectiles should be visible when being fired at someone. Any ability that involves a tether or connection to their target should also have some method of neutralizing the ability prior to connection, beyond just making the target flee the effect radius.
    • Long Range (Attacks coming from outside of /rp distance): Any ability that allows you to target people from long range can not be lethal or near-lethal and should have a few different ways to counter it. This should be reserved for things like mild curses (e.g. giving someone an illness or minor pain).

This section is fine in my opinion, save for the “Long Range”, if I am given time to cast a blue fire in /shout I should be able to send the heat at them.

4 emote ability and above: At the 4 emote mark, the abilities can start to be lethal. However, these spells should be highly visible and not something you can hide by mumbling for 4-5 emotes and then unleashing some giant spell. In addition, while the emote count can go as high as you want theoretically, spells that do widespread damage (e.g. blasting everyone in a 10 block radius) will be highly scrutinized and should come with heavy downsides.

If I knew this a while back? I would have won so many more fights...

So basically, nothing is wrong with these magics, yes some may have some loop-holes and be stronger than others, but it not the magic, it is the abusers.

  5. I believe magic is fine where it is, because if your just a plain ole’, for example, fire evocationist and you run into a olog-Or anyone- that is proficient in combat, they are probably going to get to break your concentration before you can finish the spell, dispersing the spell at that.

    Fire Evocation

Summarise the Lore of this magic(s):

Fire Evocation is the art of summoning voidal fire into the mortal plane from the void. These flames behave just as regular fire in all manners, save for the fact that it cannot spread more voidal fire. The fire is one of regular color, but can variate into two hotter colors: Blue and White. When casting fire evocation, you can also evoke smoke. When casting, the mana consumption greatly leaps up to sustain the spell.
-When casting regular voidal flame, usually yellow, the mana consumption is at a normal-bearable rate.
-When casting a blue flame, the emote cannot be held for long, for it has a drastic mana usage.
-When casting white flame, this can only be achieved for one emote, and with massive amounts of mana, usually that of more than one person. This cast Is usually suicide.
