Art Entry: Huckery Highlands This was done on paper with Sharpie and Copic markers ? The story behind this drawing is as follows... Rainey Erischi was born blind, all her life she was able to feel what she was named after, but never able to see it... Until she became a seer. After she could see, with her blindfold, of course, she began to explore, using her newfound sight to discover exactly what her life meant... Then it happened, it rained... she looked at this rain with wide eyes, shocked. This is what she was named after? This beautiful display of falling water...? Her mother must have loved her more than she had originally thought... She spent the next hour after this trying to catch water in her mouth like a child, with her fiance in this “New” world... at least it was new to her, in a sense. In-Character Information Character’s name: Trinity Carlisle Vincent Character’s sex: Female Character’s race: Human - Heartlander Character’s age: 19 Biography: Trinity was born on a rainy, winters night in 1626, in Metz. Her birth was unexpected, being a month early, and stressed her mother to the point of death, leaving her to be raised by her father only. As she grew, she was taught what her duty was as a heartlander woman, although with her teachings coming from a man, it was only natural that her way of trying to be ladylike was very lackluster. Between the way she learned how to grow, and how those around her wished her to be, she always tended to be the "odd girl" in her classes at school, and elsewhere around the city. At the age of 14, Trinity's father became very ill unexpectedly, and passed away soon after this was discovered; this left her orphaned, yet she refused help from any families around that would try. After he died, she felt helpless... She already had trouble with "fitting in", and now she didn't even have her father to help her understand how to live "correctly", and she didn't want anyone else to teach her; she didn't like the way they did it, so she decided to leave her city, and travel until she found where she belonged. Trinity traveled far and wide, meeting plenty of different people of all kinds of races. She stopped in multiple towns, found families to stay with for certain amounts of time, or sometimes just simply set up a sleeping situation in the nearest trees she could find (after all, she always enjoyed climbing trees.). Yet, as the years passed, and soon enough she became of age to be considered a human adult, she began to grow more and more depressed, feeling as if she really had no place on the planet. However, she tended to keep those feelings on the inside, finding that the one joy that she had in her travels was finding ways to make others smile, even if that meant she lost something to do so. Even today, she continues on, trying to find her place in life, her home, yet never realizing that perhaps it is her destiny to be a nomad, helping who she passes forever... Or maybe there really is a place for her, and a family she will have. Personality Traits: Trinity is very fun-loving and caring to those around her, however, that sometimes means in serious situations, she can laugh at the worst times, or say something that doesn't go along with the conversation at all. She loves to climb trees and thus is usually on top of things (quite literally). She absolutely loves the outdoors, whether stormy or sunny, and that includes any kind of nature, from animals to plants. The only exception to this being snakes, she is terrified of snakes due to one biting her at one point in her travels. As for food, she is not very picky; she will eat most anything someone puts on her plate, yet she has always hated citrus fruits, both the smell and the taste. Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) She simply wishes to be in a real home, whether that just be with a bunch of very close friends, or her becoming a wife or mother someday. Yet, she also just wishes for everyone around her to feel the happiness and love she never really had growing up. Strengths/Talents: She is absolutely amazing at agility, from all of her tree climbing. She is also a very good sculptor and artist, which she learned from her dad as a kid. Weaknesses/Inabilities: She's not very good at stealth, she tends to give herself away easily. Appearance: She is 5'4", 120 lbs, so a slim, small figure. Her eyes are a mix of a blue and brown, and her hair is black. She has a scar on her leg from the snake bite, and she is also missing a couple toes (just something that came from being born prematurely), these features are both hidden by her boots. Skin: Attached
