What magic(s) will you be teaching?

             Tawkin

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Tawkin is an advanced form of alchemy that relies on a number of things, all of which center around the idea of manipulating, or dealing with the “body”. It allows an esteemed alchemist to accomplish a varying number of feats, such as sculpt limbs to graft replacements, craft mutations that can alter a person’s form, or even make faux-life. Of course, it’s not limited to just this, as through kloning a tawkin user would even be able to make duplicates of themselves to circumvent death in its entirety, or grant this it to a deserving peer.

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

    Transmutation

Transmutation is the first listed section of Tawkin, and rightfully so as it is the building blocks for everything that the art entails. It begins with moulding, utilizing the “Moulder’s Tincture” which can be injected into the body, softening and numbing flesh to make it workable. While it is a dangerous process, it can be utilized for various needs, such as rearranging someone’s facial structure (a very risky process), or even using it to assist in the repair of a large wound.

Grafting involves the production of a substance called “Bogodon’s Clay”, which looks and acts just as it sounds. When this clay is then formed, either in conjunction with the moulder’s tincture or otherwise, it can then be applied in numerous ways. One example is forming a limb to graft a replacement, or even filling a cut with it to allow for a speedy healing process. An issue does arise when this is utilized, however, as the replaced flesh is often weaker, or more prone to damage. Consistent replacements can even lead to other illnesses fostering.

Mutations are the last section in Transmutation, these mutations allowing a tawkin user to take an individual's blood, and use it to make the Transmutation Elixir Base. This can allow one to do minor mutations which are a relatively free-form process, only allowing for minor enhancements and aesthetic changes. Some examples of what they’d be allowed to do, as cited by lore, is giving a descendent webbed feet to enhance their swimming speed, or even causing small to sprout from one’s skull. Greater mutations, however, can allow a larger variety of options. A few examples would be giving someone increased reflexes, boosting their metabolism, etc.

    Homunculi

Homunculi, while being their own section, mostly includes abilities for the CA. However, the crafting process is almost entirely free-form, requiring enough viscera to amount to a full humanoid. Besides this, and the ingredients required to make one, there is no specific means as to how one would go about achieving such a feat as long as it pertains to the appropriate themes and redlines.

    Reincarnation

The art of Kloning is a complex one, as it allows a descendant to effectively skip the soulstream, as their soul instead transports to the perfect duplicate (Klone) they had prepared beforehand. The process is rather tiresome, and complex, though even when it does work, there can always be unintended side-effects. Ingredients can differ depending on who it’s for, always requiring the “Vessel Ingredients” which are designed to go into the vat that the body will grow in. Each requires a single count of a person’s black, and yellow bile, including their blood and phlegm if they wish for that “body” to be theirs.

Then, utilizing Bogodon’s Clay, a clayby (fetus) that loosely resembles the one being kloned must be hand sculpted, or otherwise. If they wish for it to look like another, it must be injected with the blood of the descendant they wish to mock (only race / loose features, does not create a 1:1 duplicate). After all of this has been completed, it may be placed within the vat and left to grow for 3-6 weeks, mutations possibly forming during growth, a sterile workspace often the priority in ANY of these steps.

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

    Juliet Potion

The woman would have opened up a dusty notebook, flicking through those pages at an immense speed. Eventually, she would have found the recipe she had been looking for, placing it just off to the right for future reference. Next, she would grasp at a small bottle, pacing over to her cauldron where a pot of stagnant water sat within, filling it with one swipe of an arm. That vial of undistilled water was then brought next to that arrangement of prepared symbols.

A pair of forceps was snatched as a small, metallic petri dish was pulled closer. Individually, one by one she would drop each within, adding four death symbols to begin with. Next, three slowness… Two impediment, two weakness, and four separation, each being mundane.

A cork was promptly placed atop the brew as she would grasp it, giving it a good few shakes before the stopper was removed once more! In one motion, they would attempt to drink it, getting most of the way through the bottle! Mid-consumption, however, it would have dropped from her grasp, smashing against the floor, a stumble taken as she would careen off to the side, slamming into the floor with a dull thud.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

    Transmutation Elixir Base

A lengthy, crude syringe had been withdrawn from one of the many drawers within her lab, the plunger pressed all the way down as she gestured the other in the lab closer. “An arm, please..” They hummed, their student nervously shuffling about the table as their left arm was jutted forth, the crook of their elbow facing the ceiling. “Thank you-” She cut herself off, cupping the base of the joint with her own palm, injecting the end of that needle into their skin. A large quantity of blood had been siphoned, her removing it not long after.

Removing the plunger from the syringe, she would begin explaining. “To modify another’s tangible form, you must use blood as the base… As well as seven connection, five life, four growth, and three endurance.” A moment passed, the teacher correcting themselves. “Ah, forgot… And two water symbols of your choice.” As each symbol was mentioned, the appropriate amount was counted, and dropped in. When they finished, some swishes were given to the ichor within, the plunger placed atop it as she narrowed. “This is merely the base, however… We’d need to add more symbols to give it effects, of course.” She hummed with delight, setting it sideways atop the counter.

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

If they powergamed during teaching, I'd seek to correct this mistake so it doesn't happen again in the future. If it happened after teaching, however, and it was due to my own mistake I would also seek to fix it. If it was out of malice, and not my own fault due to a lack of teaching, then I would contact staff ASAP.
