Born within the Under-Realm of Urguan, with parents bearing predominantly umgorum blood, Reigirn's childhood was rather unremarkable, playing with the other children within the halls and tunnels of his home. His early education was initially done in a nursary and youth academy. After which he entered into an apprenticeship, during which he shadowed and studied his master in the basics of prospecting, mining and industry. In parallel, he received tutelage from his parents in the fundamentals of minerology, commerce, and alchemy. His father was a merchant dealing in ores and varying metalware, while his mother was an alchemist, oweing her knack for herbalism to her unusual half-hefrumm parentage. A few years after becoming a Beardling, his father was caught smuggling, as well as complacently selling goods either illictly scavenged from battlefields or forged from stolen and descratedly melted relics. This resulted in his father being presumably exiled, thus condeming Reigirn and his mother to live a more squalid life from thereon. Reigirn took up the pick axe, manual labor, and odd jobs in order to assist his mother with finances; however, he became more reserved and socially estranged. Either due to the surrounding gossip regarding his family, or his own self-perception. That event had caused within him an internalization of his father's crimes as well as developing a need to atone for them. He struggles with a wrathful frustration and a stagnating indecisiveness in regards to his faith and his path. And so, Reigirn consigns himself to a mundane life, distancing himself from any ambition and bearing no pride within his family name. Keeping his head down, shall he not condemn himself and his mother to the fate of his now accursed blood, or so he tells himself.
