As a relatively new player who's been in the dark spook community for about 4-5 months, femurlord has been a great antagonist. He's given significant high-quality roleplay and fun events with no ooc bullshit. He is good at planning and fulfilling task and thinking on the fly. He cares for the lotc community as a whole and I believe he would be a great ET due to his experience and passion. +1000000

this ^^^  I haven't enjoyed lotc this much in a very long time. +1

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

Ghouls, created through necromancy, are spirits compelled back into their lifeless bodies. Ghouls are undead beings that look like regular people but are decayed, with their skin and flesh mostly gone, leaving only bones and some muscles. They lack the abilities of living mortals but can interact with the world because of necromancy. Some ghouls appear ancient or covered in moss, emitting a foul smell like rotting corpses, making them easily identifiable. Their curse might show through glowing ribs or red eyes (tells). Compared to more advanced undead, ghouls are weaker, they're just walking corpses with no special abilities.

Ghouls were once living beings capable of thought and emotion, retaining some semblance of their former selves despite their undead state. However, their revival through necromancy brings a curse that drives them mad, leading to rage, jealousy, and a loss of mortality. They lack empathy and humanity, some finding pleasure in harming the living and are subservient to their necromancer. Some may harbor feelings of hatred towards their creator, while others may see them as a second chance and develop a twisted form of loyalty. Although some may break free to wander, though its very rare. They suffer from memory loss, forgetting faces of loved ones but retaining certain hobbies or interests from their past lives.

Ghouls possess weaknesses and strengths that define their combat capabilities. They are vulnerable to aurum and gold, experiencing pain and immobilization when struck by these materials, and even proximity causes discomfort. Instant defeat is possible by smashing their skulls, reducing them to a pile of bones. Despite having the strength of an average human, they can wear plate armor and wield weapons like their counterparts, darkstalkers. However, ghouls cannot learn magic or feats, and their tendons and muscles, though allowing movement, render limbs immobile if cut. Highly flammable due to decaying tissue, ghouls require immediate extinguishing to avoid death by fire. While possessing limitless stamina, they are encumbered by heavy armor, unable to wield carbarum or boomsteel due to their weight, and can't survive underwater for long periods. Additionally, they are immune to mortal diseases and poison, and don't require sustenance or rest, but prolonged underwater exposure leads to their demise.

Ghouls exhibit negative traits like mania or schizophrenia, and harbor a general disdain for the living. While they can speak, their communication varies, such as speaking slowly or with a clatter of bones. Obsessed with the living, some may develop a taste for mortal flesh and listen to their necromancer, though not all do so willingly. They may break free if their master dies permanently or is absent for an extended time.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look?

Amarie Uradir, once a graceful high elf with flowing blonde hair and piercing blue eyes, now stands as a ghoul, twisted by the necromantic curse into a macabre figure of decay. Her once radiant hair now hangs in dirty, matted strands around her pallid face. Her eyes, once bright with life, now glow with a sinister crimson hue, a telltale sign of her cursed existence. A jagged scar mars her right arm, the flesh torn and damaged, revealing bone beneath. Her jaw hangs loosely, barely attached, giving her a grotesque appearance. She moves with an eerie grace, her tendons and muscles allowing her to shamble forward.
