SpoilerStemming from their capacity to travel to different planes, Farseers become able to impart Visions upon any creature with a greater soul once they reach the third tier of their magic. One of a Farseer’s very few unpleasant abilities (though not inherently, simply in that it doesn’t require IRP consent), these visions are similar in nature to those received by Farseers from Greater Immortals and involve the manipulation of a person’s soul, and the sensory information that soul receives. A total of 3 emotes are required to inflict a vision; one emote focusing the Shamans mind and calling out to the Spirits, one emote imagining the general nature of the vision they wish to inflict, and one final emote reaching out to the targets mind and casting the spell (with the prior requested aid of the Spirits). The Farseer must be looking at the intended target until they reach Tier 5, at which point they can cast a long range vision as long as they possess a reagent from the target body (blood, hair, flesh, etc.).
Mechanics:
The steps required to inflict a Vision are as follows.
1) The target must be within visual range for a total of two emotes without the Shamans gaze being broken, followed or preceded by an emote of focus. At least two of these three emotes require the muttering of Old Blah.
2) The above step acts to lessen the person’s soul’s hold upon their body, and an emote should be made through /msg following a similar theme to when they’re taking someone on a Spirit Walk, where someone’s vision dims and the control over their body dulls.
3) The person’s soul is pulled from their body (The soul’s connection isn’t {and can’t be} broken, just like during Spirit walks) and thrust into the Immortal Plane. Here a Farseer is able to construct their vision.
4) The Farseer’s grip on the soul fades and a person’s consciousness will return to their body. An emote should be made by the Farseer explaining their vision/senses returning which stuns the person affected for one emote.
No matter the tier, a Farseer can’t perform combat or any actions that require their full attention while imparting a Vision (They are capable of speech, though). At Tier Five, Farseers can choose to strike someone with Visions from any range without needing eye contact, however this requires either the flesh, blood, hair or saliva of whoever they’re targeting (Similar to Witch Doctor Voodoo dolls) and additionally needs four emotes of focus, three of which must include Old Blah.
Visions Redlines:
-A Farseer cannot grant a vision until Tier 3.
-Cannot be used in combat, requires the full focus of the Shaman.
-Three (3) emotes are required to invoke a vision, two (2) of which must contain an Old Blah chant requesting a Spirits aid. An additional emote is then required to describe the vision the target is receiving to a satisfactory level to both parties involved.
-The vision lasts for one (1) emote, but can last longer if the ‘victim’ is willing.
-Farseers are not capable of reading the targets thoughts in any capacity.
-They are not required to be factual visions, the Farseer can invoke whatever images he desires.
-A Farseer must be looking at his target in order to invoke a vision until Tier 5, at which point they may conduct a long-range vision as long as they possess a reagent from the targets body.
-The target would feel as if the vision was a thought or a (day)dream. The target has the OOC choice of whether they believe the vision to be real or not.
-Reagents gathered must have screenshot proof of collection with the date and time clearly visible. This is to prevent OOC abuse of hoarding incredibly old body parts.
-While OOC consent is not mandatory, it is encouraged to do so to create a smoother and more pleasant RP experience for both sides
-No weird sexual imagery or acts in visions, you degenerates.
-Do not use old reagents from dead bodies.

The Farseer must be looking at the intended target, within RP range. Until they reach Tier 5, at which point they can cast a vision as long as they possess a reagent from the target body (blood, hair, flesh, etc.). Inflict Visions that do not require line of sight can not be used combatively.

-Inflict Visions can be used combatively, except in the case the Farseer is casting it without line of sight at Tier 5 via a reagent. The same target can not be struck by Inflict Visions more than three times in CRP without OOC consent
-Three (3) emotes are required to invoke a vision, two (2) of which must contain an Old Blah chant requesting a Spirits aid. An additional emote is then required to describe the vision the target is recieving.
-The vision lasts for one (1) emote, but can last longer if the ‘victim’ is willing. During this time, the shaman regains the ability to not maintain contact upon their target. During this final vision emote, the shaman may move and act separately now, not requiring focus. But their movement is limited to 4 blocks during this last emote.
-Requires the target to possess a Greater Soul, FA and MA Seers, are immune to the Inflict Visions Spell. Unless the Seer willingly accepts the Vision.

-Reagents must be playered signed with their date added. Reagents expire after two weeks of being held, unless it is a bone of their target. Teeth do not count.
-No weird sexual imagery or acts in visions, you degenerates.
-Do not use old reagents from dead bodies.
PurposeSpoilerSo in the orginal re-write we did for the lore games. Alot, was rushed. ALOT. And we didn't have the best proof readers. I mean I wrote so many blessings, totems, and most of Elementalism whilst drunk and gutted Lutaumancer.
Inflict Visions, states it is a combative spell/non-combative spell. Then went to say in redlines it's not useable in combat. When in reality it should just require the standard focus.
In addition, it mentions it in Seer lore, that they are immune, want that to be reflected hear as well.
Also updating Reagents. So a Farseer can't hold onto someone hair or skin for insane amounts of time without it being something hefty. Like bone.1 -

[!] A missive is left in Cloud Temple.
Dear Cloud Temple Landlords. As I sit and reflect, snow falling down upon my window. I look forth at the lands I call home. At the minerals that are promised far beneath the surface. It's been well over a decade since we put in our work request to establish a mine on our lands. The morning suns rise, and we get ready. Hoping today, is the day. The day we finally get a mine. You see, fair landlords. We pay our rent; we pay for the utilities too. I was hoping to implore you, for the services expressed in our lease.
Yet as our lands expand and discovered its high iron ore count. We rejoiced, yet daily. As our councilors step forth to feed wheat to cows, we sigh. Knowing full well we will need to travel far from our lands. To gather the ores which help strive a community forward. Today, we have sacrificed many goats, and are considering sacrificing our elderly and perhaps even the young next to try and appease you, oh wise monks. Our hallow landlords.
If there is a breach in our contract, please, let us know what we have done to violate our lease agreement.
Sincerely yours, Celia'nor
SpoilerPls give us our mines

The Invasion of Helious.
Darkspawn get beach side property
Spoiler
A silent night rests over Helious. Peace, for but one small corner of Braevos. The canopy of the jungles sway and sing in the cool tropical breeze. A lone guard wanders towards the ocean. Listening to the lapping of waves. Then, a sickening gargle. A dark arrow of chitin lodged into the throat. The body falls to the ground. A single row boat lodges into sand. A splash of water, as imps begin to carry boards and spears into the sands. Undead step forth, and in the night, begin to prepare battlements. For a long term occupation.
By morning, the denizens of the coastal city are welcome to construction efforts of a small fort on their lands. Dark stone stacked upon wooden support beams. Trenches lines with wooden stakes.Part one: The Beachfront Invasion.

I know **** all about Ashwood lore. Treatment is done to keep the following from happening yeah?
- After dying, the wood will lose its strength after 1 OOC week of decay, at which point it will be vulnerable to being felled by conventional means.
-
For balance reasons, ashwood can only be used as a substitute for metal plates for constructs and similar beings. (i.e no ashwood treants or what have you). Further, Ashwood cannot conduct resonance.
I think Animii constructs, and the sort is fine. Moreover, this redline probably aimed at restricting certain CAs like Treants, Epiphytes, and others that utilize nature in their formation. This limitation prevents them from emulating the extreme durability of the tree or using it as an additional layer of protection for their CA mechanics. Your new redline, basically keeps this in effect or undoes it? Confused with the wording there. It seems like it does, because it can only be used for plates. As to keep Epiphytes and etc, from getting free Iron skin.

It was actually going on really well! And while they've both stepped down to pursue THIS, Nor-Velyth is thriving! Even then, before they stepped down—Nor-Velyth was still hosting events and having a marginal, but present presence. The work they put into getting Nor-Velyth to what it IS was by their work and their work alone, solo carrying the entirety of the nation for a year straight since Almaris without the help of much anyone! The aim now is to have a space for MORE EVENTS but more specialized ones for THIS PARTICULAR COMMUNITY and their respective characters :3

edit: Of course, not to demean the work of vassals! Just that the individuals here had contributed to all of Nor-Velyth's growth almost single-handedly at the beginning and nearing the end of their time in the nation! It's only now that they're separating, but I know for a fact that they're greatful for everything that has become of the nation—along with the relations they've made in the past. It was fun!

Victory....
Glory...
There was no glory to be had upon this field of battle. High over Helious dark clouds rumble forth. Necrotic plagues slowly sweep across gardens. Life drained from the very trees. Soon warped after by the infernal touch of putrid warlocks. Darkstalker and ghoul, skeleton and imp. Those Luara forsaking Maehr, the Azulytes had placed the flag of Iblees atop their new keep. Cranes already moved payloads of stone. The smell of sulfur stains the once holy lands of the city.
The Odurex stood atop their new fort. As a fellow commander left, to pursue their own goals. Looking down at the city without any expression upon her face. They had struck swiftly, rising from beneath their foes. Their resources, far better than she had expected. She had came here, to lay claim to this city. To further spread chaos, and invoke hatred for those that utter the name Gashadokuro in contempt.
She had done just that. The scattered forces of Helious seeking to set fire to bridges over their delta channels. She had won without so much as even swinging a blade. It had proven more brutal than she had expected.
The Odurex shifts her gaze to the front of the keep now. Where the Jusmian shaman had turned the land to a muck. A tool, she would utilize to her advantage as the foundations are laid for the new fort. Towers being dragged to life. Trees, burnt and toppled in the name of the industrial march of war. There had been no souls to bleed this day. So the Odurex, one of the many fingers upon the Hand, turns to their desk. Rolling out the map, studying this city. Planning for what could come next.
A culture's teachings, and most importantly, the nature of its people, achieve definition in conflict. They find themselves… or find themselves lacking.
I wanna say a huge thank you to everyone that showed up today!!!!
Going forward, it will be a while before we do a big battle again. But expect skirms, little mini events here and there. Someone is preparing a naval combat formatting. And we might get some ET to run stuff in here. If you have any ideas for mini events between the battles, let us know
