  1. Thank you! I believe everything should be in order now! Thank you :)
  2. It was 1638, a new year was on the horizon, it was the deep cold when my parents conceived me. Our people travelled onwards towards Atlas, a new land with new opportunity. Our homes had been scorched and drowned by the ancient curses which descended on our people from the mistakes of the first followers of Milan. My mother was a young forest dwarf, and my father, an older mountain dwarf. They met one night by chance on the battlefields of Avar. He used to say he fell in love with her the moment they met, and I was the product of true love. My parents lived a simple life, my father worked in the Kal’Akash mines, and my mother worked as a shopkeeper, selling gems within the city. The night I was born was as cold as Thonian mines, and so too my father's heart, as my mother died, bringing me into this world. From then on my father was my idol, I worshipped him as I do the Brathmordakin. The first ten years of my life were cheerful and well spent. Upon arriving in Atlas my father settled in Holm, amongst friends, the most notable, Onar Ireheart. We arrived and my father established a notable shop, home of many precious gems. His life’s work was collecting and selling gems to the people of Atlas. He found joy in his work and so raised me to find as much meaning in these gems, as himself. I spent the majority of my early years at home, tending to the shop and my father. I had very few friends, mostly I socialized with the children of the clients my father would sometimes have over. It was important to him to be as hospitable to these people, as people would come from far, to sell or buy from my father's shop. In the summer of 1648, my father was sent a large quantity of Thanhic ore. He spent many months working at the ore, trying to purify it. He created crystals and sold them to important people all over the land. His obsession with Thanhic came in the cold months. He began working long nights, and longer days. I would find him the bottom floor of our home, working away at the ore. His obsession with purification of the ore begun, he wanted a pure Thanhic Crystal, yet he always seemed to be left with a semi-purified result. This exposed him to dust, and shards. He began to loose his mind. The decrease in sanity came slowly, which made it harder to bare. The air quality below our home, was already bad, as fumes would seep in from below us. With my fathers work, the thanhic dust had started to accumulate in his space. The poisonous dust began to seep into his skin, entered his bloodstream. He died slowly, it took months of suffering. He was paralyzed and so far gone by the time he died, that he was unrecognizable. I could spend no more time doing the work that he loved, the work that killed him. Shortly after his death, an old colleague and friend of my fathers came Wuroz. He was shocked to hear of my fathers untimely death, and acted as a companion and friend during the years after his death. Wuroz acted as a brother to me, and so I repay him with companionship and kindness. Although I have sold the shop and moved, I still own the many valuable and rare gems of my father. I have a unique position in this place, as I mostly keep to myself and farm now, Wuroz and I are well-known, as we own the gems that once were world known, in the time of my father. In the present day, you can find me in my small home, farming, and enjoying my time with Wuroz in Holm.
