The concept of the mana-hunter was coined and done during early 15-16. These were horrors and abominations focused on solely devouring and draining mana-filled anomalies in the world. The walkers and the mana drain made me think of a recreation of the Predator scene where he covers himself in mud to hide from the heat seeking vision, but instead a mage exhausts the **** out of themselves to try and expell enough mana to hide from the walker lmao.
