Your metagaming & powergaming definitions are on the right track, but need work. 2. Our server doesn't take place on Middle Earth, rather, we have our own lore to work off of, so please amend the references to LotR in your application. For your character biography, you also need one reference to our server's lore; this can be a location, religion, war, event, et cetera. 3. Your character needs to have at least one negative personality trait/quirk. 4. New player characters cannot be above the age of 100. 5. You should add an action or two to your Roleplay Scenario. This helps us make sure you know how to roleplay properly. Additionally, I suggest you change your skin to one more fitting for a wood elf (mainly that most wood elves aren't blonde and tend towards darker skin). This can be a reference to any established lore on the server; you could mention a historical event, a place, a religion, et cetera. 5. Your character name needs to be your character's name, not your name. 6. Your character's race, physical description, & skin all need to match, and not conflict with one another. 7. Your physical description and personality traits need to be a little longer. Additionally, your personality traits/quirks needs to have at least one significant disadvantage. 8. Your biggest fear needs to be an addition to the character's personality, needs to be sensible, and the explanation must be at least two sentences long. 9. Your roleplay scenario needs to be an example response to the provided prompt, responding as your character would. 10. This is the Jolynn PK post. OST: Snow crunched underneath the woman's feet as she quickly approached the boarded-up tower. No time for hesitation, no time to armor up, none of that. Anyone who walked past the strange, older woman could tell that she was devoted to...well, something. She arrived at the tower, blade in hand as she looked it up and down. Rangers and passersby had gathered near, & according to what information she could glean, at least one, maybe more individuals were being held in the tower. For what reason, she couldn't discern, but she knew at least one of her loved ones was in there. As soon as the odd woman had figured out what was happening, she began giving orders. Not that she had any authority to enforce them, of course. Nevertheless, she allowed herself a brief moment to prepare herself, pushing up her glasses, attempting to relax her muscles. Then, out of nowhere, a satchel full of some sort of concoction--alchemical, she would have believed--was dropped onto the ground near her. It exploded into some kind of material she'd never been able to behold within her long life, a sticky wax that quickly hardened, slowing her pace to all but a stop. And then, a few short moments later, a blast of what appeared to be frost and flame, from an explosive dropped from the tower. The blast obliterated the woman. All that was left was a mangled, singed corpse. Somewhere nearby, a small plant growing coffee cherries suddenly wilted, as if it too had received damage from the explosion, despite being a hundred paces away or so. Days later, small messenger Sorvians would run about Almaris, both about the size of a halfling, clad in a mask, cowl, and normal clothing. They would deliver short letters to the following people, assuming they could find the people themselves or their home addresses. Each letter would come with an ink seal, stamped with the name "Jol" in flowery cursive. Letters were delivered to, in no particular order... Feel free to check out our wiki page on metagaming & powergaming to help you fix this. I suggest including an example, though it isn't strictly required. 2. Your physical appearance/skin seems unrealistic, even for someone with heavy burn scars, so you'd need to change your physical appearance & skin. The armor part of your skin looks fine, though. 3. Ernesto can't start off as a member of the Northguard, you'd need to join in actual RP on our server once you're accepted. 4. Unless there was an actual point in time that the Sons of Horen raided a Norlandic village, you'd need to replace the Sons of Horen with some other unnamed group of bandits. I looked & I can't find any instances of this happening, but if you can send me a link to an attack on a Norlandic settlement by the Sons of Horen, I'd accept that part of your biography. 5. Your character's sister can't have story-wise interacted with a member of the Sons of Horen unless you have permission from a specific member of that group.
