A trade; in exchange for spreading a certain tale across the continent of Almaris, a Demi-Djinn has taken Talim up into the clouds. Reading the melancholic story, a cloud's tears are brought into a bottle, its essence captured.

    ━━━━━━━━┛ 回 ┗━━━━━━━━

"Allow me to ride the horizon with a single somersault, I beckon thee to mine side - 𝙶𝚑𝚢𝚖."

Within your hands is a metal cylinder of complicated design, a bottle embroidered with Eastern markings of gold traced upon each end of the container. The bottle held to it a scroll-like design, its middle being a cylinder of anorum - making the luminescent hue of azure liquid within visible, swirling around with one's motions like any other substance. On each end were two scarlet cones, one holding a long blue strand of cloth - a golden mark on the far end of such; It weighs about two pounds and bares the length of thirteen inches.

    Effect(s) of the Artifact:
The Monkey's Magic - Ghym may be taken from its current user if one with another approved MArt with the creator's symbol () challenges them to a game. This game can be anything from chess to hide-and-seek, and both parties must consent and offer up their respective MArts with the winner taking both. Both symbols will resonate when near each other with a shrill amber glow, and the first one to suggest a game that the other consents to is the tell of the duel's systems and mechanics. It can only be one person versus one person, and each side may use the MArt they have to help them win the bout. After the duel ends, the winner is found to have both MArts appearing on their person.

Ghym's Mind - Ghym holds some form of sentience, though shows it in no other way than within his bottle. If shaken too much, Ghym will appear upset, the clouds within their container rumbling with thunder and crackling with purple lightning. This is nothing but flavor and cannot be used to gain an edge in CRP, nor to gain any sort of electrical charge.

Ghym's Body - The user may uncap the bottle and pour Ghym out, an azure cloud of glittering fog fit for two adults to sit upon. It connects to the ground below them whilst they hover comfortably, as if they were sitting upon air itself. Should Ghym be slashed or disturbed by something say, a blade, it will retreat into their bottle and leave their user to fall.

    Ghym's Body Mirrors a Demi-Djinn's Ghost Legs.

    Spoiler

    Demi-Djinn Lore: Ghost Legs

The Demi-Djinn’s legs are able to morph into a trail of muddled fog that matches the color of their skin’s primary pigment, connecting to the ground below them as they hover comfortably- giving them the rather relaxing feeling of sitting upon air itself. Should the smoke be disrupted by something- say, a blade - no harm would come to the Demi-Djinn’s legs, but they would find themselves losing their balance and inevitably tumbling as their lower half swiftly returns to its original shape.

Similar to Cloud Walker, a Djinn is able to enchant an item with their fog so that it may fly (such as a broomstick, chariot, carpet, their shoes, etc.). It takes two emotes. Furthermore, they're able to emit a gust of fog that sends them four blocks forward once per encounter but only if the spell is already active. Finally, a Djinn may swallow any steed they're riding into their bodies from their legs, allowing them to become as fast as that animal until the spell is uncast, in which they resume riding their steed.

    - Cannot be used to lose nor gain height or weight- as well as aiding them in the instance of reaching what would normally be unreachable, such as elevating themselves.

    - The Djinn may hover over water but the spell cannot be used underwater, or if there is no ground to be found below the Demi-Djinn.

     - This spell's charging emotes can be used in tandem with shapeshifting emotes.

    - Boosting themselves forward four blocks may only occur once per encounter.

Ghym's Haste - An alternative to soulstoning (or any other OOC system such as /warp). It cannot be used to gain information mid-flight due to the loss of sense one experiences while adrift, nor can it be used to gain or lose anthing in general. It is a moment of void of roleplay in any sense, corresponding with the soulstone process.

    Ghym's Haste mirrors a Demi-Djinn's Cloud Walker.

    Spoiler

    Demi-Djinn Lore: Cloud Walker

This spell offers an alternative to the soulstone system, as well as a way to leave roleplay with an extra bit of flavor. It offers nothing in terms of roleplay between two parties save for the last emote of an encounter. The color of the cloud can be personalized by the Demi-Djinn themselves, but must abide by one solid color. They may also enchant an item such as a broomstick, chariot, carpet, shoes, etc. with their fog so that they may use it to fly. An aesthetic alternative to becoming a cloud.

    - This spell can only be used once per encounter, and only following the consensual departure of the Demi-Djinn’s player, to where they can emote being sent off before using their soulstone.

    - Cloud Walker cannot be used to gain information during flight due to the loss of sense one experiences while adrift, nor can it be used to gain or lose anything in general. It is a moment void of roleplay in any sense, corresponding with the soulstone process.

    - The ethereal fog summoned by Cloud Walker cannot be used in combat, as it can only be used to leave roleplay once given the go-ahead by all participating parties.

    - This spell's charging emotes can be used in tandem with shapeshifting emotes.

Explanation of the effect(s) (i.e. how it does what it does - slight bending of magic lore is allowed):

Ghym's Body - Summoning Gwyn's body requires two emotes. One to open the bottle, and the other to allow Ghym time to form.

    Ghym's Haste - Ghym's Haste is a one-emote effect.

    Red Lines of the Artifact:

    Spoiler

    - Ghym's Haste can only be used once per encounter, and only following the consensual departure of the player, to where they can emote being sent off before using their soulstone.

    - Ghym's Haste cannot be used to gain information during flight due to the loss of sense one experiences while adrift, nor can it be used to gain or lose anything in general. It is a moment void of roleplay in any sense, corresponding with the soulstone process.

    - The ethereal fog summoned by Ghym's Haste cannot be used in combat, as it can only be used to leave roleplay once given the go-ahead by all participating parties.

    - The owner may use Ghym's Body to hover over water but the spell cannot be used underwater, or if there is no ground to be found below them.

    - Ghym's Body cannot be used to lose nor gain height or weight- as well as aiding them in the instance of reaching what would normally be unreachable, such as elevating themselves.

    - Ghym's Mind cannot be used in combat, it is merely aesthetic flavor.

  4. "Boo!" A slight rattling came from the stout figure's mask before the shriek of the sick Josephine, who remained all the more weary as it returned to the side of their master, her good sister, after releasing the imitation of a cackle. Time pursued since then.

The thought drove the man mad, gargling outside of the crimson wood that concealed his visage as he soon learned of what that ill thing had become, grinding his teeth. "Farewell." Yet, in the end, he decided it was best to leave - straying from the side of his own sister as she slipped something familiar into his pocket. Time pursued since then.

The tail of the spirit swept around in the wind of that surrounded those twisted peaks, that mountain of fruits and flowers he so dearly clung to in order to keep what little sanity he held left. The young Josephine was but a passing thought to him, perhaps he'd see her again soon through the gaze of his younger ward. Time pursued since then.

Time pursued to a strange figure, not too short yet not too tall, one hand garnered about an ebony cane whilst the other held close a framed piece of work. They remained still in the sands of moments pass, in a realm far inbetween the halt of memories. He felt as if it was familiar. Where had he gotten this, and for who were these people? Like so many other fragments, he knew not where this remained. Their stiff fingers were brought about one finger on the far right of the photo, tapping their gaze as their eyes met his own aged pits of blackened hues. "Ah.. you, struggler." His lament came out in an old tone, in a single rasp, outside of his own attention. "Who are you?"

  5. A stout figure in crimson robes releases a handful of leaves into the passing winds, watching them float over the treeline and off the dim shores of broken shells and crashing waves. He walked along its trail, the bottom of his boots taking in the seafoam. A peaceful moment, as he made his way back to the forest as promised.

Absolutely not. It is among the most pure and sacrosanct forms of RP. Closed gates are bad, shitty raids are bad, the gate-guard is the sacred figure who stands between good people and both of those wretched things. He is bored, and he is selfless.

    A hero amidst the dark...

  7. A small figure walks into the courtyard of the Haenseti palace. As he paced towards an empty seat, he thought back to a young boy, chattering up a storm during a royal setting. What a laugh, that gave him. A shame he was taken so soon. His figure stiffened harder than that of a statue, offering a two-fingered salute to the still air.

  8. Every great monument needs a foundation. You were that foundation. While I may disagree with you on some things and agree with you on others, you have my utmost respect, I genuinely think the team wouldn't be as good as it is without your experience, insight, and expertise. Good luck and congratulations to one of my best friends on the server @SquakHawk (And as always, keep in touch)

  9. Within the plains of that forest, glittering clouds circled around one's boots, clearing away once they had helped him settle onto the ground. His figure grew, plate of a prismarine hue clambering over his body - his verdant gaze hidden behind that dark visor. As he settled onto one of the nearby roofs, he'd watch the fresh flames light a beacon up into the sky, embers rushing past his crimson shawl.
Three more figures were visible behind him, but.. only to him.

"Did it! Did it, she did!"
The second figure stood silent, his expression unseen behind his mask.
"By the Gods.." They'd mutter under their breath, almost to themselves. "What has she done? This be.."
The figure ignored the words of his counterparts, his mirages, or perhaps himself. "Why do you all look in shock?" He'd express his words to them, turning upon a metal heel with his arms gestured towards that deep crater. "The Moth did the right thing! Did she not?!"
"Thy know this not be the way." That cross-legged figure affirmed his statement with a slam of his staff. "Doth this not borderline that of heresy? What if some poor soul was inside?"
"Then the decision was hers, and hers to make. Just like him, all that time ago. That is it."
    ".. Yes, it was."

However, amidst the pair's argument, another pair of eyes watched from the distance. A light smile grew upon their tanned features.
"It's about that time. I think I'll try to find you now."

  11. A formal letter is regarded to Nadia Buckfort, at least three couriers delivered so that her attention may be caught.

"To Ms. Buckfort, soon to be Ms. Nadia of Kamees,

I've quite the strapping individual who may be of interest to a young woman such as yourself. One Crumena of Kamees, a paragon for cannonists and 'aheral everywhere. Whilst you almost failed mine own test to see if you are truly worthy of his companionship, you'll find that even if you did failed - this man is quite desperate for a lover. Please, seek out Crumena should he be of interest of you.

    Dark Dael."

Nadia is one of the Duchesses of Rozania, age 19. The daughter of William Buckfort and Rebeka la Waevra. She is a good canonist, and currently resides in Rozania. Unfortunately, she is not a good soup enjoyer.

She spends most of her time writing documents for Rozania, and writes some books on how to make soup.

    She can be snarky.

    She is 5’8.

She has a past of living in a halfling village.

    She enjoys wearing checked clothing.

    She is human.
