Hmmm, 3 weeks to a month sounds more reasonable - cause while it is nomad stuff, if you're thinking of the mechanical setup, and the costs, etc, 3-4 weeks is more reasonable on an OOC level

It is with the construction of my birth lands once more that I take up my quill and ink once put down for good. Inspiration roars its head and waits for no one. Much like when I was all but a young girl penning a song for our city of Silver, I pen one now, in congratulations for our City of Gold.
May Hyspia prosper, growing brighter and more passionate than ever.

The Baroness Viktoria finds pride in her husband and his doings. She had arrived on the tail-end of his knighting, as the Queen dubbed him, Sir George 'the Rotund' - and she beamed and drew forward once it had come to a close. Viktoria watched as her husband kissed their baby girl, and spoke of how proud she is of him!

The Baroness Viktoria visits the waters, not to fish, no but to see the extent of what the destruction may be. It was curiously empty, save for one stray, thin fish swimming away.

The households of Temesch and Brasca are joyful to invite the citizens of the Kingdom of Petra to a night of festivities within the Beaumont Keep whereas many festivities will be held in order to celebrate the season’s change. Alongside this special invites are sent to their respective families, Queen Renilde I and the Order of St. Jude to attend the evening!

THE CARVING
Pumpkin carving will start our guests off, allowing for any children to find their entertainment early on as each guest picks a pumpkin from the Baroness Viktorias pumpkin patch. The carvings will be judged afterwards with a modest prize.

DANCE OF THE DEAD
In order to fully immerse oneself into the night, the masquerade ball will be held; capturing the essence of whatever costume they desire. Animals, Ghouls, and even historical figures shall dance the night away. Sometime throughout the night, a costume contest will take place - intended to find the best dressed at the event.

POOL OF RED
During the continuing festivities of the masquerade, guests are given the opportunity to dip their faces into an illustrious pale of red fruit; otherwise known to them as bobbing. The children in which attend will be allowed to keep the apples in which they catch.

THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE BEAUMONT KEEP
The last stone is laid, and vibrant carpets are rolled out over newly done floors.
The construction of the Beaumont Keep has come to a finish and it is with elation that we invite the people of Petra and allies to an opening event in celebration.
Event Itinerary
The Consecration of the Chapel
As is with any newly raised chapel, the day’s festivities will commence with a ceremony intended to consecrate the Chapel of St. Edmond of Lachsi. The guests will gather within, as the Father Callahan leads us through the process.
The Baptism of Newborns
Following the consecration of the Chapel, the Baronial couple's newborn twins will be baptized and revealed to the public for the first time upon its completion.
A Grand Feast
With the completion of the consecration and baptism alike, those attending will be brought into the feasting hall of the keep where food and drink alike will be provided for those attending. Well-wishes may be offered for the newly baptized twins during this time.

THE BIRTH OF BATS

On the 13th of Owyn’s Flame of the year 88 ARP.
A depiction of the Brascan twins, circa 88 ARP.
The Baronial couple of Brasca is pleased to announce the birth of their firstborn and second born alike. The first a screaming, healthy boy by the name of Jan Gaspard af Brasca. The boy was named after two figures in the couple's life that have great meaning. He weighed ten pounds upon his birth, though that is the only extent that he takes after his father - for in all terms of appearance, for he boasts his mothers hair and his eye coloring alike.
The second born, smaller than his brother by a grand total of two pounds, came as a surprise to the Baronial couple. His name, much like his elder twin, held Raevir and Auvergne influences alike and he was dubbed Andrik Pierre af Brasca. His appearance took after his father and mother alike, with pale green eyes and a crowning glory of blonde curls.
Shortly after the birth, the Baroness has sequestered herself to her room, so that she may better get to know her newborns and have some much needed rest. Visits from family and friends alike will be accepted within the next Saints day. The baptism will be held the day after next, within the Chapel of St. Edmond of Lachsin.

Sofia of Hyspia soon learned of the capture and consequent ransom of her eldest brother. Words did not come as she signed the Lorraine, and began drawing up a letter to send to an old friend.

The Baroness of Brasca glanced over the published missive with a roll of her eyes. "E here y thought he was honest politician. There jest never honest politician." A breath huffed out, and Viktoria folded the written apology and tucked it away for another day. How boring! The woman wished for a bit more drama to amuse herself with.

Via Weiss was a rambunctious young woman. Most people would describe her as loud and military-minded.
She was four. A tournament beneath the tavern was raging on, and she jumped at the opportunity to go in fighting. Partially blind and partially deaf, no one likely expected much of the young girl. She swung, fighting against a kid twice her age and lost.
Her glasses lay broken against the ground, and she grinned.
It was exhilarating.

She strode through the streets of Haense, ponytail swinging wildly about herself. Via, all of five, met a blonde boy by the name of Michael. He annoyed her immensely, poked fun at her and challenged her. And so she’d meet him in every challenge. A game of Ludo. A game of athletics. Sparring. Racing. She wouldn’t admit it, but he was her first friend.

Some time had passed. Kids were being attacked in the streets of Karosgrad. Friends had died and were continuing to die. Desperation began to fill the girl, all of six years old. She would plea for the adults to listen, to do something but it fell on deaf ears. So Via took it upon herself to keep her and her friends alive.
Riots came through the docks, screaming and fighting. She dragged friends out, only to go back in to save others.
Children were tortured by the Duke, so it was rumored.
Another child died from the spook running rampant.
A raid at Reinmar. She rode in, oh so young and with a broken arm to boot.
She’d killed her first men that day and felt their blood stain her hands.

Her legs were shattered. She crawled along the ground, blind without her glasses. Noone was there to hear her cries.
By some small miracle, she had dragged herself into the confines of Fort-Fort and eventually, Brendell and Michael found her. She was broken, shuddering and unable to move.
And so the boys carried her home and to her family keep.
She was late to a dinner, the dinner guests, though, would change her life as she knew it.
Shamans.
He healed her with loud, foreign words that terrified the young girl of six.
And he unknowingly healed more than simply physical injury.
She could see.
She could hear.

Some years have passed. The maypole festival came forth.
Via was all of thirteen, donned in her cadets uniform with the widest of grins.
The music began and she grasped at the maypole ribbon, following after her dear friend Brendell and promptly tripped on her face in the first round.
She watched then, as Brendell made it to the finals. He loped about the maypole like a gazelle.
And afterwards? He cut the ribbon, after checking no one was watching, giving one to her.
She wore it always since.

Her love for Brendell was all consuming, and yet, he is dead. He’d left for his trials, and has been gone months longer than expected. She couldn’t bring herself to remove the ribbon.
Via wouldn’t speak with anyone for ages. Afterall, she and Brendell have confessed to each other ages ago, dating in secret for years now.
She would just never get married.
That grief turned to anger, though, as he arrived home - months later.
She yelled at him, shook him by his shirt and past her tears, kissed him.
Their first kiss was had in anger and desperation.

Their shields kept close to one another, marching along to the beat of a magical ear cuff only those close enough could hear. Weapons clashed, screams and blood were spilt, and the Mori were fought.
And they would go home, to a secret house they owned and of which they only knew of themselves, to share in their trauma and their grief. They clung desperately, distraught and broken, and seeking solace.

She cranked the jukebox up, hips sashaying as she grasped at Brendells hands and they danced.
They danced and sang, swinging out about their little living room - “Ra ra Rasputin!” And so they swung about, in front of the poor kidnapped Turtle with a thousand yard stare.
Laughter erupted from them both, enjoying the rare moment of privacy and their moment overall.

They sat on the roof, legs swaying back and forth as they looked out over the city.
It was when they turned to each other, that laughter came. Both held a belt, of twine and ivy alike. Without meaning to, they proposed at the same time. They were soon married.
Soon after, their first child came and they had a long conversation. They only want one child. It will allow them to better focus on their work, and to still have their own lives. One, alas, became four. Though each were loved dearly.

Trumpets and a choir heralded the doom of the day. This wasn’t their first fight, that was for certain. Snow and ice pelted over the city, the cries of the people coming all around them. All of their children, all but one, had made it into the palace as the people were evacuated.
They’d gone back out to find Lauritz, and had gotten separated in the chaos.
Via found her only son, and ushered him back to the palace, before having headed back out for her husband. She squinted past the flailing wind and snow, barely seeing a shock of red hair and so she quickened her pace further.
Her hand extended out, only inches away as she grasped for her beloved husband, his hand so close to her own.
“Der stachel..”
Those were Via Colborns last words, mere inches away from the man she could not bear to be without.
SpoilerI didn’t plan on writing a PK originally - in fact I've never written one before - but yeah! I want to thank everyone that I’ve RP’d with when it comes to Via. She’d been an extremely fun and chaotic as heck persona! I definitely got experiences like no other on her. I’d also like to thank Seth and Frisket for obliging my 3am request for a Weiss persona! And to thank Teeylin as the Via/Brendell RP was absolutely and utterly amazing! There’s lots of people to thank overall, but you know who you are. <3

Golden trim details the menu and a flourish of text rests upon the top line: The Krovavaya Svad'ba Menu. Underneath, several sections are written in Common with bold, precise strokes of ink.

De Beurre Sours
From all appearances, it would seem almost akin to an iced coffee, creamy and caramel in appearance with grated tonka beans over top.
The drink itself is whisky poured over gomme syrup, lemon juice, egg whites and liquorice bitters over ice. While the drink may seem like it would taste sour entirely, it would have a rich, nutty vanilla flavor with hints of sweet and spice alike when served.
The Aigre Liquor
This beverage is a deep purple in appearance, citrus vodka, lemon juice and a parfait liquor is combined in a shaker of ice before it is strained into the cocktail glass and garnished with a lemon spiral.
An alcoholic beverage with a citrus taste.

Raevir e Auvergne
This beverage is made with strawberry juice alongside boiled lingonberries, giving it a vibrantly colored appearance.
Diluted with water, and sweetened with sugar and honey alike, this drink would cater to the ultimate sweet tooth among us.
Bonheur Bliss Tea
From all appearances, the liquid is frosty, pale and pink - and creamy as well.
The tea is made from a mixture of pressed green and black tea, brewed with melted butter, salt, and goat's milk. Nutmeg and peppercorn is stirred in, the sweet in appearance tea having a salty and tart taste alike.

Blini e Creme Fraiche
This Raevir-Auvergne fusion consists of thin pancakes made with buckwheat flour, warm to the touch with a nutty, toasty flavor to accompany it. Creme fraiche is dolloped over the top, the heavy cream sinking in with a dash of sea salt.
It is further topped with caviar and garnished with dill, allowing for a tangy appetizer for one to try.
Escargot e Raevir
This dish consists of snails boiled over a Raevir vodka, herbal butter alongside shallot, garlic and parsley. Tomato sauce with a mixture of red wine is drizzled over it, giving it a crimson appearance.
Upon the side is toasted bread puff, with a dollop of the same herbal used above upon the side for use.

Pissaladière e Salmon
This Raevir-Auvergne fusion dish consists of charcoal smoked salmon slow-marinated in vodka for many hours, allowing the added flavors to sink into the meal.
It is served with an Aurvergne-style onion tart topped with olives and anchovies alike, the tart aiding in soaking up the meal that is to be eaten.
Julienne au Vin
This classic Auvergne dish is one of chicken slowly braised in red wine, the meat melting off of the bone and stripped away to be added to a mushroom julienne base.
Sliced mushrooms are baked in a creamy cheese sauce, adding the Raevir twist to the meal being prepared - and making the meal more akin to a soup.

Tarte Crème Tatin
This Raevir-Auvergne fusion dessert is one with a rich custard base, with a layer of caramelized sugar - followed by a fruit caramelized via use of butter and sugar. A pie crust is added upon the top, making the upside-down caramelized custard tart.
A supremely sugary dessert, achingly sweet.

THE BLOODY NUPTIALS

The Baron George and Lady Viktorias courtship had started with a letter, a joint connection between families, and unknowing of one another. That letter had turned to two, and henceforth multiplied, until the duo met unknowingly within the Duchy of Stran. They spoke some in the tavern, and once it was revealed, the Baron George asked the Duke Istvan Ivanovich permission to court his sister.
Three trials were given.
And thus, three trials were met with fervor.
Host an event to celebrate our cultures. It succeeded immensely.
Take part in a duel against the Duke himself. They fought tremendously.
And hardest of all, win the trust of the Lady Viktoria and have her ask for the marriage herself.
And so it came to fruition.
With these three trials having come to a head, the Baron George af Brasca and the Lady Viktoria Ivanovich invites those of Petra and Aaun alike to their wedding which shall be held within the coming Saints days.
The wedding will take place at the Memory Tree as the sun just begins to wane over the sky - followed by a feast catered by the bride herself.

The young lady was alone at home, staring daydreamily upon the ceiling as slippered feet kicked back and forth. Daydreams of rainbows and unicorns ran rampant, as per usual. A knock at the door though, had her flinging up with excitement and as she accepted the invitation, the Lady Catriona Baruch gasped. "Someone else has me name?!" The nine year old bounced about in her excitement, crimson braids fluttering out behind her as she pushes past the poor courier, door flinging shut behind her as she scrambled to find one of her dearest friends, Fiona. "Fionaaa! Fionaaa! Look, ah got a invite! An' she has me name too!"

Sofia of Hyspia stood with her family, donned in mourning silks. Prayers were said for her late mother, and following the moment, her brother abdicated. She hoped, finally, he might have fun and not be the stick in the mud she knew growing up. Sofia congratulated her nephew, the now Viceroy Cesar and thought as to how Hyspia may come to be under its new Viceroy.

Sofia of Hyspia is many things. Queen-Dowager of Hanseti-Ruska. Princess of Hyspia. But most of all? She is her mother's daughter. Grief encompassed the woman, clasping at her cross as she came to kneel upon the floor of the church.
"Oh, Madre.. Te amo.."
Her breath caught, finding she could find no further words.

The Queen-Dowager, Sofia of Hyspia, took in the personal invitation as is drafted by her niece. She thought of Lucias late mother, Amity, a woman who had been her dearest friend in childhood only to grow apart in their later years. A Lorraine, one made by her own mother many years prior dangled delicately against her throat in which she signed over it.
And then she marked the date for the wedding!
