This would be a good opportunity for the nobility to meet his Excellency and to discuss religious matters. His Excellency understands that the requested individuals are very busy, thus he invites them separately at a time they see most fit. For clarification all the landed nobles and commoners outside of Karosgrad fall under the administration of this Diocese. May God bless you all. The response of the Diocese of Valwyck regarding recent events This public letter, is an official response of the Diocese of Valwyck, regarding the recent publication of the malicious document, with the title 'THE HOLY APPARITION OF BLESSED SERAPHIM OF LEORA', written by Father Dima. `~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~`~``~``~` Dear Canonists, my flock, to all of you that belong to the Diocese of Valwyck and to the fellow Canonists that happen to recieve this public letter. I Bishop Otho of Valwyck, urge you to burn, if any of you still keep it, the document with the title 'THE HOLY APPARITION OF BLESSED SERAPHIM OF LEORA', written by Father Dima. Such a document of lies, with ill intent, has achieved its goal, of spreading lies and causing divission in the Canonist world. As our rightly elected Holy Father, so do we, condemn their acts of evil and pray for God's justice. If they do not repent for their sins and set aside their wickedness, may they burn at the pyre, as it fits to the likes of unvirtuous, unrepentant men. Let me prove to you, oh faithfull, as to why, in my humble opinion, they decieve us. His, Emminence Cyril Cardinal St. Publius claims that on his first attempt to cast a vote for Laurence Cardinal Albarosa, our present Holy Father, a strange happening occured that obstructed the vote. He then casted the vote again and after that, the lie took place, the imagined apparition. With this, he bassicly claims that God acts in vain. If an apparition would happen, the message would be CLEAR and the time and people that would witness it, PROPER. Why didnt Blessed Seraphim appear to the Vice chancellor, the one with the power to revoke the elections? Why didnt His Emminence, Cyril Cardinal St. Publius not inform the Vice Chancellor before he cast his second vote, of the supposed 'strange happening' and instead published with Father Dima, this venomous document? Because it was all a mere fabrication, possibly serving ambitious desires. Shame! Shame to these, so called servants of God! They kept their mouths shut, accepted new positions and chose to speak AFTER all this had happened. Acting against Canon Law, they think that they are above it, causing mere chaos. To conclude, God doesnt act in vein, His messages are clear and that of PROSPERITY and UNITY. Only the servants of Iblees, would attempt to act as these men did. Only the unvirtuous, would stir trouble, when the Holy Mother Church is vulnerable. I highly suggest reading 'AD ABSURDO, A RESPONSE TO THE SCHISMATICS BY HIS HOLINESS OWYN III' and the document of His Emminence, Ailred Cardinal Reinmar with the title 'Wolves Among the Sheep: a Document on False Apparitions'. HOLY NOTICE The banishment of the foul beast. As Tuvsmas night ended, reports of a Poltergeist haunting the Basilica of Karosgrad sounded across Almaris. A call for aid was sent out and the Palatine Guard Order of the All-Saints answered that call. The Order settled in the church district of Karosgrad, readying themselves for the battles to come. Multiple times, the noble flock of Godan tried to rid the Basilica of the foul beast, but it's retreat was always temporary. Thus, Lay-Cardinal Johan Vuiller and Cardinal Alfred of Jorenus gathered the local priests and Holy Knights readying themself for a final confrontation with the phantom. Upon entering the Basilica, they could feel the thick air that had settled within. The flock moved deeper into the halls of Godan. Attending the Cardinals were Father Alfred Barclay, Father Otho, Grandmaster Theophilos Komnenos, Holy Sir Nicolas Barclay, and Holy Sir Toni. A lone member of the Haeseni Royal Army guarded the door, making sure no one else could get hurt as the exorcism took place. The Cardinals and priests, having readied themselves with prayers and chants, began the rite, and the two Cardinals made their way towards the altar. While doing this, the Holy Knights kept close to the pious fathers, protecting them from the foul demon. The battle stretched over many hours before the Cardinals were finally able to get to the Altar, and, once there, Cardinal Jorenus readied the church bells as Lay-Cardinal Johan readied a bowl with a mixture of the holy waters of gamesh, alcohol, and an elixir. He placed his aurum cross in the bowl, setting it ablaze. Lifting the bowl up towards the roof of the Basilica, he turned to the poltergeist, which took the form of a large serpent. As Cardinal Jorenus rang the bells, the Holy Knights surrounded the serpent while the fathers chanted and the Lay-Cardinal moved closer to the serpent with the holy flame. The holy chants were heard by Godan, and the serpent began to fade away. Almost victorious, Cardinal Johan emptied the bowl on his Aurum trident, allowing the holy flame to cover the weapon. He hurled the weapon towards the serpent, and the creature vanished. It's inner demons seemed to do the same, and the air lightened, the ectoplasm from the Poltergeist disappeared and with it, the seemingly lost souls that filled the Basilica found their rest, leaving Godan's terra once and for all. ~.`.~.~.`.~.~.`.~.~.`.~.~.`.~.~.`.~.~.`.~.~.`.~.~.`.~.~.`.~.~.`.~.~.`.~.~.`.~.~.`.~.~.`.~.~.`.~ ~ A thesis on Apostasy ~ ~ by ~ ~ Acolyte Otho of Karosgrad ~ A thesis submited to the Holy mother church On the year 2 of the second age It is well known, to any faithful member of the church, that when an individual has been baptised, he or she has agreed to the covenant of Horen and God. By being a Canonist, one must embrace the Holy Scrolls of the Exalted and accept the teachings of the church that Exalted Owyn established. A true member of the faith, seeks to honor the God of the Holy Scrolls and obey the guardian of His laws, which is none other than the Holy church. Devoted believers never worship other Gods than the true Canon God and accept the High Pontiff as their spiritual leader. An apostate is a member of the church that has renounced the true faith and fallen in foul and paganistic ways. People such as these take part in vile rituals and worship false gods. They spread their poison to others, condeming them to the void! They corrupt the canonist societies and dishonor God! This evil damages the soul and it prevents it from being saved, but this said evil is a choice, we as beings with free will, choose to be close to warmth or close to cold and emptyness. I was unaware of the age of the dark nikirala, where the people decided to NOT repent for their sins, it was a dangerous era for humanity and the Holy mother church. Chaos and destruction followed, law and order were threatened, a terrible time indeed. Only through Canonism we can thrive and rebuild! What is the way to prevent such events from repeating in future history? Is it enough to speak about faith and charity, to be as the only way to prevent apostasy, or do we need to do more? I urge the rest of the clergy to ponder on this matter. To conclude, apostasy is a great evil that condems the soul and its source is none other than the free willed being that posseses said soul. Unfortunately, apostasy is always hard to track down, as many hide it. Every true canonist state should root out all apostates and if they do not repent for their sin, they must be punished by death, as they have clearly violated humanity's covenant with God! Our current era is a troublesome one, for in my opinion the majority of the baptised apear to be faithless. The church of the Canon must find more ways to maintain the purity of the inducted!
