Wilhelmina was soon overtaken by another wave of sickness and unable to try and change a thing about the situation. The young van Aert shed a tear for her nephew and his intended, hoping that neither of them suffered too much.

Weeping came from an aged woman that had long before forgotten how to cry. Unable to cope with the loss of the daughter Aloisia loved so deeply, the old widow withdrew further into her self imposed exile. Trembling hands clenched at the tattered edges of a charcoal sketch that seemed to be decades old.
The hag whimpered "I am so sorry" to herself, over and over again as though it might ease her suffering.

"AVE ADRIA!" cheered the youngest of Valentin's siblings as she marched back home following the massive victory they had made on that day.

Wilhelmina once more found herself reading one of those missives written by Viktor. It brought the faintest smile to her face on the eve before the armies would start marching.

Wilhelmina picks up the missive. A smile appeared on her features, her hand reaching for the hilt of her sword. "Ave Adria!" she exclaimed as this one, good man managed to sum up everything she truly believed in and so much more.

Anne Caroline smiled from wherever she was hiding. She truly was proud of the family her late husband had made.
Meanwhile, Aloisia continued to hold a grudge towards her birth house; for they had not only tried to take her husband from her, but also her son.
((cant do a spoiler bc im on mobile, but imo this is one of the most interesting human houses in recent history. v epic post!
