Alexander I nodded his head in agreement with the missive. "It would seem the idiocy of the Adrian's has once again reared its head- complacency is not for this day, or the 'morrow. Canonism as a whole must rid itself of this plague that swallows the southernmost land of the Heartlands."

"Youre just mad youre losing" says Wilhelmina.

  2. "You state you were going to join the fight on Adria's enemies side, yet at the same time you mourn the fate of those that are considered enemies to the Adrians? I believe that, perhaps, the Archduchess might be simple minded..." Wilhelmina trailed off as she put down the paper. "I suppose someone who was once a puppet to Balianites can never not be a puppet after all."

Emerentia Vilac extended a cigarette to her brother Constantine at the locked gates of Minitz, "Smoking on that Aaunite pack, care to try some?"

Wilhelmina steals one of the cigarettes, the sheer boredom driving her to take up smoking.

  4. Wilhelmina, who was also thirteen, sat up from the pub stool she was sitting on and stopped polishing the blood stains off her sword. It was nice to have something to do after the fighting subsided and everyone began rejoicing and licking their (few) wounds. She didn't want to sit upstairs with her brothers and cousins since they were being too loud for her taste. Lifting the public letter that the other youngster had written, she let her gaze stray over the paper's lines.

She finished reading and grimaced momentarily. She experienced a wide range of emotions at once. The van Aert opened and closed her mouth once more, unable to find the right words. Perhaps, there were none.
Indeed, they were young, and it was frightening. Yet even the child understood that you must fight for your home if you wished to keep it. Hence, they would always do so.

Upstairs, she heard a chant that she mutely repeated to herself in a low voice: "Ave Adria."

  5. Luisa cringes hard upon hearing the news. She threaded a hand through her salt and pepper hair, thoughtfully contemplating the situation. In the end, the aging lady shrugged and uttered the following words to her brother in law.

"Some blessings come disguised as problems. And some problems sort themselves out. I imagine he'll last for a few Saint Weeks before tiring himself out and sailing away again."
