  1. The Kinslayer wept after having earned herself such title. Despite his illegitimacy, she loved her youger brother. Dotingly, she'd cradle and care for him in his infantile years and proudly she watched him grow from a boy into a young man. Their father had been a cruel man - and even if Aloisia did not like to acknowledge it, she knew that her and all her siblings inherited the very same cunning and ruthless nature. The baroness usually found comfort in her husband's arms - but that night of Charles' execution, the lady could not get herself to embrace the man she had helped to kill her brother for.

    Again, she sought solace in prayer in the hopes that GOD might shine a guiding light upon her and her remaining family.

    "Rest, little Charlie. You've done well and your efforts paid off. You can sleep now."

    Maciej Jazloviecki sat in his office, somewhere within the walls of Eagle's Retreat. He asked himself "Why does it come to the point where my peasant brothers mock me and my people, while there has been no incident of aggression on the part of Grodno?" He paused to take a deep breath "Hard times." The Margrave muttered under his breath

    "Why does the man that betrayed his supposed brothers complain all the time?" asked Aloisia as she was polishing her blade.

  3. Luisa of Rivia felt faint upon reading the missive. Within the corners of her eyes, tears built up. She gasped for air as her husband returned from that failed battle and locked him into her arms. "Oh thank the Exalted that you're home! These hours of dread are over - but we must visit your father at once."

  4. {!} A private letter was sent to the baseborn lady. It was from none other than her... aunt-in-law - Aloisia of Rivia. The letter reads;

    "To my dear Arabella!

    Had I known that you were looking for a sponsor, I should have sent word to you immediately! As it happens, I have no young lady to sponsor this season and I should love to be your sponsor, should you allow me to.

    Signed with love,
    your Aunt Aloisia"

  5. Luisa of Rivia continues to prepare herself and her loved ones for the war. She polished her husband's plate, made sure to instruct the children on when and where to hide and continued counting coins for the evergrowing funds of the treasury. Oren Aut Mortem - this would be her fate.
