At the outskirts of the kingdom of Kaedrin during the brutal stage of giving birth Dorian’s mother Amelia Mithyr died and his father Arthur Mithyr took over from there. Dorian has no other siblings and as such is taught to take over the family business of being a rather respectable tailor. His father was a bit over protective and thus has not experienced much of the world. He went through average schooling and was rather lonely not making long lasting or significant friendships. The one time he was allowed to go to anything big at age 11 was when he went to a festival and saw magicians perform. Right then and there he knew he wanted to be one. He expressed his interest to his father who tried to shoot down all hopes. Despite such setbacks he tried to study in secret learning about the world and magic from libraries. Dorian even made a grey half cloak with silver trimming as what he thinks a wizard should wear, Dorian left in the his father a note as he ran away to try to find himself a magical teacher.
