  1. Halerir Sorcaril would read over the missive as he spoke with his lari'maroon Ashwyn Sythaerin

"What use is a missive of detestation if you provide no examples of them being inept? An empty message of treason made public to what cause?" Socaril would chuckle to himself as he crumpled up the piece of paper, tossing it into the hearth. "Perhaps now this paper will find worth in its existence."

  2. "The reins of the Heartlands once more whip freely in the winds."

The Adrian would whisper to himself, the dry air of the Greycloak barracks softening his voice.

Taking a sip of wine, he eyed another cart of soldiers arrive through the gates of the city, the sounds of laughing and jokes paraded through the streets from those already settled.

"Grab hold of these reins and make haste Heinrik, do not let go."

The soldier would leave the missive where he sat as he went to help unload and welcome the newcomers.

  3. Conzstanzo would tend to his crops as he heard of the ordeal, thoughts weighing over his mind. The evidence provided by some of the delegates of the new pontifical in his mind was an ill attempt at a power grab within the church, of something he disapproved. To risk the life of the holiest is sin above all, even if his supposed schemes were authentic. Over the last weeks since he arrived in San Luciano, all he had found was a lack of communication within the council, and to Conzstanzo, a pious man, this was the straw that broke his back. Finishing the work that he had always considered drudgery but rewarding, he packed his bags to leave home and support Pontiff Everard. Along with him was his new flock of warriors and denizens whom he had gathered from the lands he had explored.

"So I am the Most High, and in pursuit of My Virtue, I bid my faithful this:

You shall not blaspheme My Word, nor any thing that is holy."

    (Virtue 1:8)

Pile of rubble discovered by Marb and Zeyphr

    _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

The City of Marble was home to many mysteries, one of which was about to be discovered. Marb and Zeyphr while exploring the newly founded city, discovered a large pile of rubble that seemed to be blocking a path of some sort…

“Hmmm… Is something behind?” Marb asked as he inspected the wall, removing a rusty sword from his scabbard as onlookers gave him worried looks.

Zephyr promptly nodded “Perhaps one should take a look”

Marb would smash the rusty sword off of the marble rubble, the large noise vibrating across the city.

Thalen Syllar approached the duo, looking on as well as Marb continued to try his sword against the side of the marble wall. “Perhaps a dig team might be better? I could have them here rather quickly to see what is behind.”

is this a primarily high-elven place or is it open for anyone to come visit? been looking for somewhere to RP on my delf persona

To expand upon this a tad, we began with actually wanting to make a primary dark elf settlement. Though Hlnor leadership came to us and allowed us to expand upon our initial goals to make it into what it is now. We have a wide range of leadership now, ranging from high elves to dwarves even.

i hate something that would probably just end up being an oren niche'

Basically the same thing tbh, though it wouldn’t have to be. Black Powder and muskets would be available to all. I agree with your other points however.

If you have to state the answer to your rhetorical question it probably wasnt that rhetorical...

In truth the people outside of the magic clique have no real idea what type of magic one has, most of us only really encounter it when the mage decides to walk up and rip apart our bodies at the molecular level or other such attacks. I mean no ill will against the mages. But its time for a change and I believe muskets offer that change.

As much as I’d love to see some sort of musket added to LOTC, I’d say this is the wrong take to have. Magic, especially Voidal is the weakest it’s been for a very long time. I don’t believe anyone has been thrashed by a mage in a longtime as well.

Very cool but I will never read all of that

That's the point : ) Don't tell anyone but only the first and last paragraph are actual lore. The rest is just @Monkee's monologue as he made breakfast the last three months.
