In celebration of our 10 year anniversary,  we will be holding a contest for the spectacular and glorious title of The Lord/Lady of the Craft for about 6 months, as seen on me right now! There can only be one Lord of the Craft, in six months time we’ll have another contest to pass it on.

For this contest we’re asking the community to show off their wonderful use of camera angles, shaders, and scenery by taking screenshots (or gif)! In a comment below simply post a maximum of 3 screenshots (or gif) showing off any place from ANY of our marvelous maps! Get as creative as you want, you are indeed competing for this new sparkly title.

To access our past maps , do /museum in game and you are off on your screenshot journey. You can also take screenshots from the current map.

Screenshots will be judged by a staff-wide committee, and upvotes will be considered, so rep your favourite submissions.

Not just that but you need to put a lot more information about said creature. You also got to put this in your head "Is this LoTC appropriate?" There is a lot of guidelines and regulation that needs to be considered before making lore. You would also have to consider the lore that has been implemented. If I am being real with you. And I am saying this as a friend. This lore won't get accepted. It takes a lot more than thinking of it and making a lore post. You got to look at other lore and think realistically in a LoTC aspect. I suggest you listen to disk here, perhaps you should spend more time on the server before you start with lore like this or find others who have interest in this lore you want accepted! they can help you make it more descriptive and give you a good chance at getting  it accepted :D

For the month of June, the Battle of the Arts contest will have a Beach theme! This is a summer-esque theme that corresponds with the month of June, so go nuts! Since this theme is rather vague, it’ll allow everyone participating to have some flexibility with what they create. Have fun with it!

Aeline woke up that morning as usual, making her way upstairs of her and Gail’s home, ready to make some tea, though a sight of what lay by the fire place made  Aeline let out a pained sound, “Gail-“ she scrambled to his lifeless body, seeing how pale it was, trying to hold back tears she found a letter pinned to his chest. From an Old friend he had gone to visit, “n-no...no this...you...you c-cant leave me now...p-please” she said with the most pain, the most pure sadness in her voice as her arms wrapped around his lifeless corpse. “P-please sweetheart, I’m n-not ready f-for you to leave me” Aeline’s sobbing was heard throughout Veritas. The elfess who usually tries to keep such an emotion hidden from others did not care in this moment. In this moment nothing mattered.  “You were s-such a good man...you did your best for everyone...I’m s-so thankful to have m-married you” the words pained Aeline. Seeing her children’s father lifeless in her arms opened up a hole in her chest. A hole that burned, a hole that felt like it could get bigger and bigger until nothing was left of her. 
 

After hours of crying, hours of thinking of their memories together. When Aeline told Gail she was pregnant with Lelina, their first child. When Gail asked Aeline to marry her. Their countless adventures to different settlements and their drunken nights. She ended with how it all started; Aeline drinking some very strong booze, Gail trying it and coughing and wheezing and a bet Aeline had lost with a friend, then had to go kiss any man in the square back in Talon’s Grotto.  Aeline wiped her red, puffy cheeks. Trying to pull herself together but her legs shook, her head was spinning. “I love you...forever and a-always, sweetheart” she finally whispered  with a smile that was mixed with love and sadness 
 

Aeline read over the ledger, tilting her head a bit, "oh this is good to keep in mind"

Briefly explain the lore behind this construct or creature:

The Kharajyr are anthropomorphic felines, they stand on their back legs like humans and they have subraces, Nemi, my kha, is a Kha’Pantera. The Kha were created by Metzil, the Daemon of Time. She wanted a creation of her own, making a species with both human and animal traits, she thought this combination was the perfect form of a species. They are a mixture of human children essence and native Ocelots.They were first found in the time of Asulon, since then ,living alongside the Descendant races. Kharajyr usually have heightened senses too. They have gone through years and years of punishment from others and thus the kha populations is low, though they are starting to increase in population and come back again once more.

If this construct or creature has some form of aesthetic choice, can you describe how they look? 

Nemi is more specifically a Kha'Pantera, she is small 9 year old Kha, standing at only 4'4" right now and will grow to be about 5'7 she has jet-black fur with small spots peaking through in certain sunlight, she has a small little tail for balance and tiny, bright white teeth. The ears on her head look much too big for her, but she will grow into them. She weighs about 62lbs and will become about 145 lbs when she is of older age.

Hello again everyone! It’s time for another Creative event, the Creative Cafe! 

The perfect event to hop into a vc, show off your skills and talents, while having fun at the same time. Sections may include Singing, dancing, building, art and basically anything you wish to show off. Any kind of skill is welcome, as long as you can share it with others! Prizes will of course be handed out, random raffles here and there, so everyone has a chance to win something. Be sure to attend, even if you just want to watch and join in on the fun like that.
