Born on the outskirts of Oren, she was lived with her parents, her elderly grandmother and 3 siblings. Alvina was raised with a strong faith in the Church of the Canon. Taught to read by her father, reading became an important part of building who she is. Going to libraries is one of her favourite pastimes, alongside using a bow and arrow. Being able to defend herself became very important to her after witnessing her father getting robbed when she was 9, causing her to be distraught that she couldn’t do anything to help him. Her kind nature extends to everyone she meets, however her mood can quickly be turned and she is known to hold a grudge. Making new friends is very easy for her, however making enemies is just as easy. Born into a family of bakers, she has plenty of experience around a kitchen with many happy memories of baking bread with her siblings as they sang together. To her parents dismay, baking was not the path she chose to go down so at 18 she began to travel with the hope of being able to write the books that she loves so much. Although, family is still very important to her, she is very confident and independent and likes to be in control of situations.
