Juniper's eyes lock upon a certain few lines of the missive. Her hands shake; she is livid. She looks to the backpack in her room, and hisses beneath her breath, "Soon..." -

A wave of guilt washed over Juniper. She knew she had done the right thing, forcing him to break ties with the devil. But yet, there was a familiar pang in her heart. A lonely one- a child left without a parent they once held dear. A sigh escaped her... She really hoped Sermi's head would not have to be kept in her apartment for too long, however.

Juniper, having barely survived from overcasting, was carried to her room by a man - one she had considered a close confidant, perhaps even someone she loved. He held her so tenderly within his arms, despite having had his own bow aimed upon her just hours before. "We'll be okay, Juni-darling," he had promised her. But it wasn't okay; he had lied. Nothing was ever okay. The rest of the night was spent planning. Maybe it wouldn't be them, but Juniper would be okay, at the very least, so help her God.

Juniper looked over the missive with shaky hands, a plethora of emotions crossing her visage; most notably, fear and some low, bubbling anger. "So it's begun," She breathed, adding the paper to a growing pile of loose threats and letters. Her silent footsteps tread across the floor of her room. There was work to be done.
