Kreen Balkweaver was born in a small elven settlement to Haiden and Laris Balkweaver, his father and mother. Laris was raised as a gardener, teaching Kreen how to care for flowers. Haiden was a village guard, and he was pretty distant with Kreen, causing them to have a strained relationship during his childhood. His mother and father met in their teens, getting married quickly after and having Kreen and his sister Kierah. Kierah is a 5'4" wood elf with long blonde hair and sparkling green eyes, with an extremely fiery personality. They lived in a small wood elf settlement of about 30 or so people, all living together in a small village. He was a happy child, playing in the extensive flower fields with his friends, even finding interest in men more than women. He lived there until he was 14. Then, one day, his village was burned down in a terrible forest fire, leaving kreen homeless to wander the world. His family survived, but he decided then and there that he didn't want to live in the same place his entire life. If he was to die, why should he die in his home town, with no adventure in his life? He wandered like this until his 16th birthday, when he decided to find a perminant place to settle down. He moved from town to town, selling flowers and flower crowns to the townsfolk as a way to make money. Eventually, he learned of a city of mixed race known as Sutica, with its sprawling naturescape and beautiful town atmosphere. He decided to gain passage there, seeing as it might be better than his wanderer's life. He uprooted himself and left the current village he was living in, getting on a boat for the new land. He still writes to his mother and father and loving little sister daily.
