    keeping 1.8 lowers the skill gap a bit, which makes it easier for casual players and bigger groups to keep up, but it still gives people who actually practice pvp an edge over less skilled players. at the same time, i like the idea of someone really mastering 1.9 and creating a massive gap, kinda like how knights had a clear advantage over infantry in real battles just because they were trained lol. honestly, i prefer 1.9 over 1.8, but that’s probably just cuz i’m better at 1.9 than 80% of the server. 1.8 is better
