Marcella, the eldest of many children, heard news of her late mother’s passing through word of mouth. It had been many years since they had last spoken and it dawned on her that she would never have the chance to rekindle their friendship. Left weak in her knees she collapsing into a tavern chair. “Bartender I need your strongest ale tonight.” She paid what was owed and spent the night drowning her sorrows and regrets away. -

Alda took a moment to take in the gentleman's appearance before she dipped her head and softly smiled up at him. "I suppose I came here hoping for work, nothing to crazy but something to pay my bills and get me a place." she softly hummed, taking a look around at the bazaar and the wares different venders were selling. The sounds and smells reminded her of back home which caused a sinking feeling in her chest. "But for now I want to look around and get acquainted with this place... see if it is truly the right fit for me or if I must continue my travels." With that she gave the gentleman a final nod before excusing herself, disappearing into the crowds.
