Ottavia of Stassion smirked at the missive, crumpling it up and tossing it in the fire for she did not care for Cannonism nor did she ask for penance. Her Son and his Wife had now taken over and it was no longer her responsibility.

The game of the Hare and the Hound is a game that has been played for centuries among the people of Cannonism. This exciting event beckons both the young and the old to partake in a night of entertainment and strategic prowess. We invite all of Cannondom to the Sovereign state of Hyspia's enchanting landscapes to partake in this age-old tradition of celebrating camaraderie and community.
~-+-~
The game will begin at the gate of the Capital, where a ‘hare’ will be chosen, The remaining members of the group will be designated the ‘hounds’. The Hare will be given a basket of shredded paper and start off the race with a head start. After some time has passed, the hounds will take off to chase after the hare and capture them before they reach the finish line of the race.
While there is no prize for the winner, we aim for this game to allow for team building and community bonding!

While the Halcourts were not planning on holding a proper ceremony for her Grandfather, Phoibe's eldest daughter, Fleur still decided to head out into the gardens and gather bouquets of flowers to honor Sir Laurens. The young girl of Nine decided she herself would plan her own little Le beausorti for her grandfather.

[!] A poem begins to be Penned soon after a long departed Princess returns
Those who crown themselves with miters and Pontifical robesAre dry and polluted canals that humans long to drink from
Boats remain frozen in their abandoned and void place
The waters being a simulacrum of Golden Bulls
The bubbling and Refreshing springs they cut from themselvesThose who pass by are beginning to recognise there is nothing to drink
Only worms and serpents live within the canals.
Bushes of berries along the Shoreline with thorns and thistles baked inside and
dead man bodies pile on top of one another like firewood waiting to be burnt
Behold the crown jewels of those called servants and watchers.6 -

The Soldiers of Stassion amidst the fallen
C. 1955
The winds howled mournfully across the desolate landscape as Princess Ottavia of Stassion surveyed the aftermath of the devastating defeat. The once-proud banners of Stassion now lay trampled in the mud, the castle walls scorched from the fires of war. Ottavia's heart weighed heavy with grief and anger, but she refused to let despair consume her.
As Ottavia and the remnants of her principality scoured the battlefield for survivors, the glow of victory belonged to the usurper king of Aaun. The invaders had claimed the Marchlands, leaving Ottavia's people shattered and her home in ruins. Yet, the fire in Ottavia's eyes refused to be extinguished.
Among the fallen Aaunite soldiers lay a wounded man, his breaths shallow and labored. Ottavia, fueled by a mixture of rage and determination, approached the enemy soldier. His plea for mercy fell on deaf ears as Ottavia drove her sword through him once more. Nearby, the fallen banner of Aaun, adorned with a white rose, lay stained with the blood of the fallen. Ottavia observed as the crimson river flowed towards the banner, transforming the once-white rose into a haunting shade of red. She crouched down, picking up the emblem that now bore witness to the bloodshed.
Turning to her remaining people, Ottavia raised the blood-stained banner high. Her voice rang out with defiance, "Stassion remains independent, and independent it will stay. You stood here with me today, reminding everyone that Marchlanders cannot be cowed by fear, bullied by force, or bought by any tyrant king."
She continued, addressing the loss of their homeland, "While we may have lost the Marchlands, we will march forth to our allies and rebuild. They may spill our blood, but they will never take our heritage or our freedom."
With those words, Ottavia handed the blood-soaked banner to her husband, Richard, who bore the weight of their defeat on his wounded shoulders. Mounting her horse, Ottavia cast a final, sorrowful glance at the charred ruins of Stassion, the children's only inheritance. Yet, her resolve remained unbroken.
With a determined spirit, she turned her stallion around and led her people away from the Marchlands of Stassion. "Marchlanders, we leave the Marchlands of Stassion, taking our name, heritage, and title with us," Ottavia declared as she tightened her grip on the reins, kicking her horse forth. The remnants of Stassion, with heads held high, rode away from the smoldering ruins. Ottavia's words echoed in the wind:
"Stassions never die."SpoilerPlease keep in mind that this is a POV post and is not to be metagamed, But ggs to the covenant! And to my Community of stassion, fret not we will rebuild.

Written and composed by
Princess Ottavia Stassion
And Lord Adrien ‘the Kingslayer’Here's the story of The Marchlands
A land both fair and great
In the year of 1952
An Independent State
This was much against the wishes
Of certain governments
Whose leaders tried to break us down
And make us all repent
But we're all Stassions and we'll fight through thick and thin
We'll keep our land a free land from the enemy coming in
We'll keep them east of the Constance, till that river's running dry
And this mighty land will prosper, for Stassions never die
They can send their men to murder
They can shout their words of hate
But the cost of keeping this land free
Can never be too great
Cause' our men and boys are fighting
For the things that they hold dear
And this land and all its people
Will never disappear
But we're all Stassions and we'll fight through thick and thin
We'll keep our land a free land from the enemy coming in
We'll keep them east of the Constance, till that river's running dry
And this mighty land will prosper, for Stassions never die
We'll preserve this little nation
For Our Children's children too
Once you're a Stassion
No other land will do
We will stand tall in the sunshine
With the truth upon our sides
And if we have to go alone
We'll go alone with pride
Cause' we're all Stassions and we'll fight through thick and thin
We'll keep our land a free land from the enemy coming in
We'll keep them east of the Constance, till that river's running dry
And this mighty land will prosper, for Stassions never die
Cause' we're all Stassions and we'll fight through thick and thin
We'll keep our land a free land from the enemy coming in
We'll keep them east of the Constance, till that river's running dry
And this mighty land will prosper, for Stassions never die

If you would like to elaborate in here that'd be much better as it will be an instant clearing up as to why it happened. I find it strange that when a new lead of the House/Count gets declared (who by the way had no chance to prove themselves) that the same day when there is talked of perhaps leaving Stassion, that post comes out with the revocation of a title, it does not seem like simple coincidence to me.
It had nothing to do with your plans to leave stassion, because in the end Sarkozic had planned on staying. There were a lot of reasons as to why it was revoked so as I stated in my prior message if a mod would like to find out, they can contact me5 -
Hi there!
There were a bunch of reasons as to why the title got revoked both Irp and Oocly, and it had nothing to do with that chat specifically.
If any moderators would like to contact me for the full story and information I will be happy to send out the full list with the evidence.14 -
