The Birth of The Vuiller Twins, a New Generation

“With the eagles farsight, we reign victorious!” 

From within the confines of the Vuiller Estate in Balian, a cry could be heard, first it was agony, accompanied by servants moving around the manor as if the world were to disappear and the despair of the doctors surrounding Eirene as they helped her give birth to two twins.

Then the agony cries stopped, being replaced by cries of happiness that came from Eirene as the twins were delivered in good health to her hands.

The House of Vuiller is glad to announce the birth of twins from the Countess Eirene Linh Vuiller, receiving the names of Johan Stor Vuiller (@Harald), the firstborn and Heir of House Vuiller, and Rosemary Helena Vuiller (@Josif)

Both babes are in perfect health, and the order of birth has been carefully inspected in case that a misunderstanding like the previous one happened.

May GOD guide them both in a life of Righteousness and Honor.

Agreed on this the 12th of Hedgehog’s Harvest of the year 59 SY - 6th of Scale’s Fever of the year 5 AST

Between The Principality of Helious and The Grand Principality of Aeltarys

This document refers to the Principality of Helious, and the Grand Principality of Aeltarys; hereafter referred to as ‘signatories’:

ARTICLE I: SOVEREIGNTY

The signatories, do pledge mutual recognition of sovereignty and agree:

I. THAT the power of rule of each signatory in their respective territories shall be fully respected by the other;

II. THAT the signatories accept the authority of the Principality of Helious and the Grand Principality of Aeltarys as representative of the will of their peoples and thus the signatories shall recognize no other position claiming such.

ARTICLE II: NON-AGGRESSION

The signatories enumerated do mutually agree that any forces affiliated with their banner, nation, reigning bloodline, etc., shall not engage in military action against the other signatory. If such were to occur, the signatories shall endeavor to resolve the issue diplomatically.

  I.  The Signatories formally enter a pact of non-aggression. 

 II. The Signatories refrain from participating in any conflicts that put them at odds with one another.

III. Residents of the Grand Principality of Aeltarys are protected while in Heliousi territories, and residents of the Principality of Helious are protected while in Aeltarosi territories, so long as they act within the laws of the respective realms.

IV. Attacks from third parties residing in the territories of The Signatories will not be considered acts of aggression, but must be dealt with by the  government of the offending party's residence.

 V. Guilds or mercenary contracts stationed within the territories of The Signatories will be subject to legal prosecution if offending the pact in city limits or on citizens of either city.

ARTICLE III: Cooperation

I. Extradition:  Citizens of The Signatories can, if they are found in committence of a crime in the territory of the other, be sent back to the other, for the purpose of punishment.

II. The Signatories, shall help each other in times of need for the purpose of  aiding their ongoing efforts against dark magics, Azdrazi, Vampires, and other such ‘blights against nature’. 

ARTICLE IV: Trade Alliance
I. Free Trade Citizens of The Signatories shall be allowed to enter each other’s territories in order to trade whatever items may they be selling, unless it breaks any of the aforementioned articles, or the laws of A Signatory.
II. Stall Exchange The Signatories shall each be granted a tariff-free stall within the lands of the other by an appointed member of the Signatories citizenry and/or government.

ARTICLE V: DURATION

1. The signatories agree to enter into a pact of the aforementioned clauses, for fifteen years. It may be renewed by mutual consent of both Signatories upon its expiration. In the case where either signatory is found by the other to be in violation of this treaty, all articles will remain in effect, while the signatories search for diplomatic resolutions.

Festival of Youthful lights

What is a city without its children, perhaps a place devoid of innocence and laughter perhaps? 

It would be a simple and serious place, for the light the kids bring to a city would be gone.

From time to time I have seen events focusing on the adults who have matured, who have lived enough so that the light they had previously has left their eyes, kids whose innocence was taken at a young age, and I don't want to see that happening once more, the children deserve recognition from the people, and I will give that to them.

For such I want to present the Festival of Youthful lights, an event where the children will be able to have the fun they have wished for so long, having events such as

As my daughter, Lady Firentia Ivonne Roa was walking through the peaceful roads of the Principality of Helious, porting the Viscomital Coronet to decorate her head, an unfaithful man decided to steal it from her, this act shall not go unpunished and for such, the House of Roa hereby ask the populous of Helious to lend aid to the House of Roa to find this sinner and get him to justice.

Whomever gives back the Viscomital Coronet, along with the sinner who stole it, shall receive a hefty price as a reward for such.

What magic(s) will you be teaching?

         Alchemy

Describe this magic or a creature as a whole:

Alchemy is the study of the material alphabet that makes up the whole world, it is used in alchemy to create be it potions, powders, limbs, and several other creations that make several different reactions when used.

Alchemy, although it can be considered as a kind of magic to some, doesnt present any kinds of voidal influence to it, alchemy is divided into three important sections

-Signs

-Symbols

-Reagents

With all this, the reagents or herbs can be mixed in order to create alchemical creations, mostly powders or potions, although it can vary depending if one is specialized in other kinds of Alchemy, those "specializations" must be learnt irp with an FA, they cant randomly appear in one's brain.

Alchemy has three stages

-T1 or Apprentice, lasting for 2 OOC weeks until you are able to become a "Journeyman" whilst in this stage, you are only able to make the most basic of potions, only once per OOC day, each kind of Potion that you can make in this stage can only be made if you have direct supervision of your teacher irply as the student isnt able to identify the signs or symbols on a concrete substance by themselves, thus why they need the help of their teacher.

-T2 or Journeyman, lasting for 6 OOC weeks after the 2 OOC weeks of T1 passed, to enter this stage you need a lesson at least from your teacher to enter this stage, in this stage of alchemy, you are able to create both T1 and T2 potions, although you can only make 2 potions per OOC day being more self-sufficient in alchemy learning and not needing direct supervision to make potions/powders

In this stage the comprehension of the alchemical map should be enough for the student to already know all the means of extraction by now.

Now the student is able to easily use "Reagent rings" and "Transmutation circles" to identify and decode a concrete substance

-T3 or Master, after the 6 OOC weeks of "Journeyman" pass by making a total of 8 OOC weeks, you become a master (Although as before, you need at least 1 direct lesson from your teacher to become this tier) being able to create all potions (except the ones that need to be learnt, such as the 'rare' potions that need to be learnt about irply) be it T1, T2 or T3.

This tier grants complete independence from your teacher, as the student has effectively grasped all knowledge given by their teacher and therefore "Graduated" you are only able to make 3 potions a day in this tier

The methods of extraction of alchemy divide in 6

-Mundane

-Aether

-Water

-Air

-Fire

-Earth

All of them serving the same purpose, extracting a symbol of a different sign, each of them being different in their own way

Alchemy has 3 different processes, those being

-Identification, where the alchemist identifies the signs and symbols, determining the properties of the material and how the material in question may be used in alchemy

-Extraction, where the alchemist extracts the signs and symbols for further use in potion crafting, or some other alchemical process

-Mixing, where the alchemist mixes the reagents extracted with the extraction process in order to obtain the wished outcome, an example could be making a potion

Are there different sections or subsections of magic? Can those be elaborated upon?

There are different subsections of Alchemy, known as "Further Alchemy" which allow the user of such to be able to create different things other than potions:

-One would be tawkins, exploring the esoteric part of alchemy like creating new bodies with klones or altering oneself with mutations

-Creating Automatons and limbs for your persona with animii alchemy

-Creating moving mega-machines with Smoggers 

Can you give an example of a casting emote, of a spell of your choice?

Gregorius Roa grabs a single aqua nymph herb, he starts using the water extraction method by soaking the Aqua Nymph wet in a big bowl with distilled water, once it is completely wet, he grabs it and starts carefully shredding it until it no longer holds its normal form, looking much like a pile of mush, then pouring it carefully on a glass dish and letting it evaporate over the day until the mush became a powder, he carefully grabbed some tweezers to extract [2] Grace symbols out of it, carefully placing them inside a glass bottle for further mixing.

Can you give an example of a teaching-emote (interacting with another) of a spell of your choice?

Gregorius Roa greeted his student as he prepared the table with the ingredients, this time being a blissfoil herb, he carefully moved the flower onto the middle of the table with his gloved hands as to not numb his own tact "Today we will see a demonstration from yours truly, as to how we extract a water symbol" he simply said as he looked back to his student and stepped off a little to allow the student to be besides him in the table

[redacted] nodded along as he carefully watched the process, a faint glow of curiosity sparkled along their eyes "Im eager to see this…" they said clearly excited as this was their first time seeing such a process in their lives

Gregorius Roa chuckled at the student's reaction "Well then" he nodded as he grabbed the herb and placed it inside a distilled water bowl, letting it soak in it "First, you need to let it soak in water, as you can see already" he chuckled some more at the obvious thing he was saying "Then, you shred it into pieces so its easier to place it somewhere to let it dry so it becomes a simple powder" he nodded as he started shredding the flowers until it became a wet mush "Now what's next?" Greg asked to see if the student was paying attention to his words, or he was simply mesmerized by the process of extraction

[Redacted] seemed to have been paying attention as they answered back as if it was a sort of "ping pong" so quickly Greg was impressed "Now you place it somewhere to let it dry and become a powder, no?" the student asked back, not quite sure if they had been paying attention to the lesson as their eyes hadn't moved from the blissfoil herb from the start of the lesson

Gregorius Roa smirked "Correct!" he said as he placed the mush in a glass plate, extending it thin so it was able to evaporate the water off the mix, as the day passed, Greg and his student talked about other extraction methods until the urge to sleep was too much for the two, going to sleep and waking up the next day to see if the mix's water had already evaporated "Good" Greg said as he looked at the powder in the table, he grabbed some tweezers and passed them to the student "You can take out those coldness symbols, we will need them further on" he signaled at the symbols for the student to be able to extract them easily

[Redacted] grabbed the tweezers from Greg's hands, carefully seeing the symbols pointed by Greg as they carefully started extracting them from the pile of powder, then placing it inside of a glass and sealing them for further use "I made it!" the student cheered themselves for their accomplishment 

Gregorius Roa nodded "You made it" he said in a calmer tone, simply allowing his student to cheer themselves up for accomplishing a good start in their first lesson

Say your student powergames during or after teaching, how do you reprimand that?

If the student powergames on mistake during the lesson, I would tell them about it so they are able to correct it, I tell them what is or what isnt powergaming in these cases, so that next time they are wary of it, if it is repeated multiple times, even if its for mistake, the student would be dropped.

If they do it with knowledge and for their own benefit, they would be dropped at the same exact moment.

History of the Family

The family began as a simple tribe of Minitz, being that of Reinmaren origin, carving a name into  society for a long time, until the family founder “Gregorius Roa” decided to leave that place due to disagreements between him and some of the inhabitants of Minitz

The sole purpose of the House of Roa is to protect the city where they lived in, whatever the means, as well as to protect and expand the knowledge they had, and share it to others in any way possible.

After the family left Minitz, they went to Lady Cosima under the recommendation of Valentina Roa, previous matriarch of the family, and settled there for a time until the family was offered to rule over the Viscounty of Pavia 

The Roa family stayed for a long time within the walls of Pavia until “The Ludwig Affair” occurred, a trial that made “Gregorius Roa” leave the Viscounty of Pavia behind to his heir,

After such an incident, Prince “Jarad Munnel” decided to offer them housing within the Principality of Helious; “Gregorius Roa” decided to accept such a generous offer after careful consideration, and he himself brought the family along with, residing in the accommodations of Helious.

After the fall of the Kingdom Amathea, and subsequently, the Principality of Helious, the family went to reside in the Kingdom of Balian, where they stayed until it ultimately was felled to the Mori menace.

Introduction

Uphold honor and humbleness, be the ray of light even in the darkest of times, be the sword that strikes the enemy and the shield that protects the innocents.

A sprout of Roa must reckon where the family came from, and uphold to that humble origin, respecting others as they were respected from the start.

Culture and Traditions

The Dance of the Moon and Sun
A ball that takes two Saint’s days to complete, consisting of the first day of the “Dance of the Sun days” being a festive and happy dancing day, in which all the guests can dance with each other in a more “active” way, wearing brighter hues and dancing along the light that is provided by the sun.

Upon the next day, the “Dance of the Moon” would be held, in which the guests will wear darker hues, comparing it to the light the moon provides us with, dancing calmly below the rays of the moon.

The Grand Operation

To become one of age as years go by, it is a sign of every family member to at least venture out into the world in search of a companion; not only to keep the legacy of one’s heritage alive, but to also strengthen relations with others in attempts to prosper. Most often, this tradition would be had within taverns of other cities ventured to. When one finds a mate who accepts to court, both must go to each current guardian as a show of goodwill & judgment.

New Oak’s Birth

A family tradition in which when a new Roa is born, an Oak tree is planted in the family’s ceremonial grounds, both the parents and the children ought to take care of the tree as the tree itself represents their own soul.

When the Roa in question comes of age, the hand of said Roa will be carved in the tree, and the initials of the parents and son/daughter will be carved inside the hand’s carving

Colors of the House

Red: This color represents the family values of bravery and initiative, the kids of the family are raised into this values, so they can become great persons in the future.

Blue: Representing the elegance of the house and the compromise of its people, being the most present color in the Coat of Arms.

Yellow: This color represents the prestige the family already has, and the honor it aims to achieve.

Gregorius Roa read the missive in his room at Savoy, scoffing at it "Well… this is rather unusual… So Aubrey is her name huh?" He said, then going to report this to Jarad Munnel

Eirene Vuiller would gasp at the missive, praying to GOD for a miracle to occur and see Princess Persephone once more, signing the lorraine after

Following a previous discussion we had I, Gregorius Roa had with the individual previously known as “Maximus Roa” I have decided to disown him from the family, as his previous actions have not made up for the name of the family, presenting himself as a childish individual who didn't do anything that could benefit the family several times tarnishing the honor and status of the family with his actions.

Allowing himself to only things that could benefit him, making decisions that could affect the family without consulting with me nor someone else from the family, asking for me to aid him several times, and when I did so, he refused my help and insulted me for .

For such actions, the previously known as “Maximus Roa” is punished with disownment from the family, taking any and all chances of inheritance of him and his children, as well as the name of Roa he seemed so proud of some times.

Along with this and for a previous discussion, the individual previously known as “Blume Roa” will be disowned as well following an agreement in which the previously known as “Maximus Roa” would be adopted by me, Gregorius Roa.

Following the agreement, the same punishment that was made to “Maximus Roa” would be followed by “Blume Roa” both of them being punished with disownment from the family.

The both of them are asked formally to change their surname to the bastard name “Aruit” if they have not changed it, or renounced to both surnames, there will be consequences following.
