You’ve just arrived in a swampy, dim town. As you look around, your gaze is met with shacks and cabins. It smells of rotted wood and wet moss. You duck and step into a tattered tent, illuminated by a series of candles suspended in the air. At the back of the tent, an old hag raises her head, “What brings you to this dingy town? she begins, then pauses to study your face—”Ah, it’s you. I’ve been expecting you. Sit,” she gestures at a cushion, “Tell me your story.” Stralis rested his hand onto the drape that acted as a covering, pushing it aside, he looked about the tattered tent and was greeted with quite an eccentric sight. Even more mystic was the woman who greeted him. His masked visage gazed upon the woman as he simply entered. He made some space between the woman and himself, took his seat and began to speak- " Well, where to begin..." He sighed as he pondered the request. With an aura of enigma both parties presented, it certainly was quite fitting for their place of residency. He looked off to the side somewhat, after which locking eyes with the woman before him. "Have you ever wondered what it was like to be a flower... blossoming, vigorously and with vibrant youth only to have it wilt and wither?" he questioned following it with "Existence for me, was rather quite a rollacoaster. I was a naieve and ignorant child, born into a family of rather low class, yet still held themselves with dignity and pride. Despite their rather unsightly and primative appearance, they possessed minds that far exceeded even the great minds of that time, since that was the case, they simply could've lived a far more luxarious and comfortable style of life, but they chose not to. Instead they were simple people, they invested in only what was nessasary for survival and up keep of shelter. Education was rather flowing and diverse as my parents ventured out with me in tow to market squares and purchased manuscripts and picture books. They danced about their lives, before directionless, now with me born, they had new found purpose. So they bestowed upon me what they could, ensured I wouldn't fall victim to reality, but sadly, there is only so much sheltering one can do. " His voice grew silent and somber as he finished it with. " There is more, but I wish not to further elaborate... somethings are best left silent." He raised his head as he somberly finished, slowly lowering it to meet with the woman. "Maybe life has something in store for me... otherwise I wouldn't have made this far." he then loathingly chuckled "Why me? Why am I a joke, and my life the class act?" he questioned as he then stood up, shrugging. " Well, I wish to play this game of life then, see how far I'll go." he then turned his back to the woman and proceeded to leave her, she finished it with- " It seems your path is dark.. tread carefully young one, for many beasts await to feast on your soul. May the holy light bless your hardened heart and cleanse your soul of this baggage." she finished speaking as he stood there contemplating her words. He tightened his right fist as he relaxed, finishing it with. "You as well, seems you need it a lot more then me." he jested in a quipping manner. then leaving her home with a scowled expression behind his masked face.
