  1. ((Thank you for the heads up on this, I'll check into as soon as possible.))
  2. This is exactly what we needed. Thank you to all the GMs for this, and especially Danie for all you have done.
  3. ((There are many new job opportunities coming today and in the very near future. Right now, Lord Carro Perea is taking applications for the Peace Keepers. Later today or tonight, you should see a post asking for farmers for the nation, and more positions should be listed in the next couple of days. All of these positions will be advertised here, in the Salvus thread. ))
  4. We are not yet at the point where we are considering town charters, but we are working hard to build our capital and outlying areas as swiftly as possible. We hope to be able to really give these charters the attention they deserve soon. ((BTW, I love the way you placed this notice, it is so funny and creative!))
  5. Your house is very nice. We do have plans for fishermen in the future which may include a town devoted to the practice. If that is the direction we chose to go in, then there will be homes placed near large water sources, but I doubt they will line the banks. In the meantime, you can purchase a home outside of the city walls, with no basement or farm attached, for 3000 Mina. If you approach me in game, I will try to get you a home built as close to the water as possible. Thank you for your input and ideas for Salvus, and definitely, keep them coming :)
  6. Rest in peace Maeghan, you will be missed by all.

  7. You were added to the charter at the request of one of your freinds. You are now angry because your perms have been removed due to your own abuse of them. I have had you removed from the charter and we will never make the mistake of claiming you as a citizen of Salvus again. Goodbye and goodluck to you.
  8. I miss the old Alkhazar so much :( I know the new world will be just as great though :D
  9. Thank you both, Decora and Gaius. Your support means the world to me and I am very grateful for it. :D
  10. ((I am going to go out on a limb here and speak on behalf of myself and Gaius with this statement. I believe we both fully understand the difference between IC and OOC posts. I and many others do not share Throdo’s view of Enor as a bad king, nor do we agree that Enor caused the downfall of Oren, yet Throdo states both of these views as if it is a known fact, not just his opinion. He also states again that Gaius was involved in a situation where he abused his perms and broke server rules, yet it has been admitted before that this was just a story made up by the rebels. Had these things been done in an IC post by Throdo, then it could be simply brushed aside as more propaganda by the rebel nation. Since these posts were made in OOC though, that makes it a personal attack against Enor and Gaius both. As you said, what happened has happened, yet, here I am again responding to another one of Throdo’s posts on the subject, wondering to myself why he keeps seeking out opportunities to take another jab at Enor or spread more false information. It is long over, but he seems to be unable to move past it. How could you expect that anyone would not defend themselves or their friends from this?))
  11. ((Your rebel group already admitted that this story was propaganda to turn citizens against Gaius. Since these posts are all OCC, why are you repeating an admitted lie?))
  12. Thank you for your kind offer sir, but at this time we are not filling any positions in the Villian Department. We will however, keep your application on file for at least 30 days. ;) I expect that we will be busy for a while, building our nation and getting settled in, but once that is done, I am sure we will seek many RP oppertunities. We are a peaceful nation for the most part, but a little spice from time to time would be good too. When that time comes, perhaps we can meet up and plan something for the citizens together. :D
  13. ((It is your opinion that Enor was a bad King, but many of us feel he did the absolute best he could while being forced to deal with you and the other traitors. It makes no sense to me at all to blame Enor or RedNinja and Ivrae for the fall of Oren, since none of them were in power at the time of its demise. Everyone should know by now that the fall of Al khazar was a scripted event, and Enor simply played the part. In his absence, you formed a council saying that it was to help the people of Oren, but at the one meeting I attended through TS, all that was discussed was who could and could not come to the meetings, what would be your new capital and the building of a new road, which never happened. Alras took care of our displaced citizens who had nowhere else to go, and they should get the credit for that. As I have pointed out before, you may have chosen to start your rebellion against Enor using the excuse that he was a bad King, but when you waged war against Oren, Gaius was our King. Your whole argument that Enor was unfit no longer matters and was, in my opinion, just an excuse to seek power from the beginning. Gaius had not been King for barely a day when you chose to go to war against Oren and that is what ultimately caused the split and destroyed our nation. Without your rebellion, Oren would have survived.))
  14. Love the trailer! Who did the voice over? Who ever it is, sounds amazing!
  15. I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported this new nation. I am really excited to see what we can all build together and what Salvus will grow to become. For everyone who has signed up to join us, welcome to Salvus and I can’t wait to meet you in our new home! And also, I am sure apples can be provided ;)
  16. I am sure. We dont need it, so I am glad it can be of use to you. Let me know if you need more :) PS, Thank you Kais for taking it.
  17. I will ask someone to meet you in my bakery there :)
  18. Yes, it is hard to find a landmark that still stands now :( Where are you? I may be able to send someone your way with it.
  19. It is my pleasure. Can you come to the island? If not, then I may be able to get someone to meet you somewhere.
  20. I can give you atleast ten stacks, free of charge. Will you need more than that?
  21. I have quite a bit of white wool you can have. How much do you need?
  22. Straining under the weight of the pork laden tray, Dawn Perea slowly and carefully makes her way from the extra-large kitchen under the house, to the dining area within. The tray, laden with hot meats and fresh bread, would see them all through another day. At first glance, one may have the impression of a great feast to come, but in reality, the mountain of food is just barely enough to sustain every citizen of Salvus currently on the Island. What would be left after the twenty or so gathered citizens had their meal, would be stored in a chest for those still out hunting. Picking her way up the front steps to the house, she enters the home, finding herself plunged into the cool darkness of the room. Momentarily blinded by the sudden absence of the hot, afternoon Sun, her steps falter. Before she has a chance to recover, her oldest friend, Hempshine rises from the table, and in a few long and lanky steps, makes his way to her, claiming the heavy tray from her hands. She looks up at the face she has grown to know so well over the years. The scent of mushrooms and earth surround him, along with a more pungent, yet still familiar smell. It is the aroma that permeates his home and acts as a silent signal to her that soon, he will do odd things, like when he fell in love with the fountain that once, long ago, stood in front of her first bakery. Despite his appalling behavior at times, he never fails to make her smile. His tall, wiry frame has changed quite a bit in the past weeks. Although always thin, he once had the rounded face of a well fed man. Now, his cheeks are sunken slightly and his eyes, normally glittering with joy and mischief, are marred by the dark circles resulting from many sleepless nights. “Man, it smells like pig death” he mutters before turning on his heel to deliver the day’s meal. Dawn Grins at Hemp’s retreating form and thinks of how lucky it is for him that the wheat has not run out yet. The grin slowly fades from her lips as she thinks of how hard it will be on him, more so than the others in the coming weeks. When food is this scarce, yet you cannot bring yourself to consume meat…. Before he disappears from sight, Dawn calls out to him, “Hemp, tell the others I will join you all shortly? I need to wash up first.” He turns his head in her direction, lingering only long enough to take in the sight of her apron, splattered with the pork grease from the meal he labors under. “Yeah, you smell like pig death…take a bath!” he demands before clearing the doorway to the dining area. Dawn giggles under her breath at his obvious outrage over the fried pork. He had better get used to it…. Alone now, Dawn lifts her skirts to her knees and darts upstairs. In her and Ella’s room she quickly washes the day’s activities from her skin and begins to root around in one of her trunks, searching for something suitable to wear. She pushes aside numerous dresses made of silk and adorned with tiny stone beads and seed pearls. These were the gowns she once wore as Lady of Winterfell, but now, as Queen of Salvus, she seeks something a bit sturdier. Digging deeper she feels a cold, smooth material and gently pulls it from the bottom of the chest. The brilliant gold and purple designs adorning the bodice of the gown immediately brings a flood of vivid memories. Transported deep into the past, she sees her beloved Pampo presenting her younger self an elegantly wrapped gift box containing her first set of royal robes. She glides her chapped fingertips over the fine silk, recalling the time when she was overwhelmed by its sheer beauty. Pampo insisted that she should dress like the Queen she had become, forsaking the roughly woven material of the dresses she had worn all her life. Hesitantly, she did as he asked of her. Dawn’s face splits into a wide grin as she recalls his reaction the first time he saw her wearing these fine robes. How he laughed at her, his Baker Queen, when she descended the stairway of the Keep in his gift, with the added embellishment of a white apron tied around her waist. If not for the deep timber of his booming laugh and the affectionate way he looked at her, she would have been offended by what she saw as a simple precaution. How she missed that laugh… Blinking back the sting of unshed tears, she hastily pushes the robes aside. Too many are depending on her for her to allow herself to day dream of her dead husband and a destroyed Oren. Continuing her search, she finally finds a green dress, made of sturdy material. Donning the dress quickly, she repacks her trunk, allowing herself only the breath of a moment to fold the Perea Robes carefully, before closing the lid. She makes her way to the writing table tucked under one of the eves of her attic room. Taking a seat, she dips her quill into the squid ink, and begins to pen her thoughts…. I worry so for my daughter and the people of Salvus. With such little land and so many mouths to feed, it is a daily struggle for us all. The men continue to venture past our beaches daily in search of better hunting grounds, but even if they are fortunate enough to find prey, many times the animal is so sickened that we cannot use the meat. In addition, our crops are beginning to fail us. The once fertile soil of this island has itself become diseased. Even though Hemp tends to the various patches of wheat scattered over the tiny island daily, each harvest he is able to coax from the soil produces fewer and fewer seeds for the next generation. The few melons that ripen contain spoiled, inedible portions, and we are lucky if we salvage one slice from each. Even Hemp’s mushrooms, once the most abundant in all of Oren, fail to spread or thrive. I had originally considered the possibility that there was something deeply wrong with the soil of Salvus, but after speaking to many others around Aegis, I find that we are all suffering from the same malady. It is not just our tiny island home that is dying, but our entire world is changing. Pausing in her writing, Dawn lifts her eyes from the page and stares at the wall, absently brushing the feathered end of her quill across her lips. Her brow wrinkles as she struggles to put her turbulent thoughts into printed words… I love Salvus and I love all who call this place home. I will forever be bound to this island, the place of my birth, the place of Ella’s birth, for as long as I live, but we cannot stay here. For whatever reason, evil permeates the very ground itself, distorting and destroying all life that depends on it. We must find a new home. It is our best chance for survival…But where could we possibly go? I have not heard of one land unchanged by war and evil.... I will discuss this with Edward and the other men hunting with him. Perhaps they have seen a more suitable place, a more sheltered place, far away from our woes. Perhaps one allowing us the needed room to grow… A man’s voice, laced with laughter calls her name, pulling Dawn from her journal. “Dawn, Hempshine fell out of the window again! I think he is alright…but…he is hugging the rose bush… better find Botar!” Rolling her eyes, but grinning despite herself, she closes the journal. “I’ll be right there!” she replies….
  23. Throdo, you stated that, "It is a little fishy that this got accepted in less than a week. Rather than the months other charters have. That is my main concern." What you fail to consider is the fact that while you may have seen the charter a week ago, it has existed much longer than that. Had this entire process included you or been carried out on the forum for all to see daily, you would realize how much time and effort this nation has required. You do not know the entire story here, and I do not feel the need to fill you in on it. However, if you are that concerned about wrong doing by me, Enor or anyone who had a hand in this, then you absolutely must speak to a GM about it. I suggest Native or Resp, since they have done the most to help us along the way. Of course, if you fear GM corruption in this matter, then I would avoid asking the GMs who helped us and accepted this charter. Perhaps you would feel better served by Danie or Shoi. The point is that you do have options to combat any form of wrong doing by any member of LotC. It concerns me that you chose not to use these options but instead, continue posting your outlandish views on this thread. You also stated, “The quote you posted proves only how he mocked our nation that he once had. I try my hardest into developing it into better means. That progress has halted because of 2.0. The post Enor has made really ticked me off” As a couple of people have pointed out before, what Enor said was not an insult. It is an opinion based on what he and many others have seen in game and even on your own Renatus sub forum. It is an easy assumption to make, even if you have never been to Galahar, and there are plenty of testimonials backing up that assumption. I have never spent time in Galahar personally, but I feel it is a safe to agree with Enor’s view. You are experiencing a great deal of unrest. From your own forums I see that you have horrible issues with some guards who are acting in cruel ways, Knights who cannot agree with military superiors over who has the real authority, and some squires who appear to think they run the kingdom. And that is just the unrest from the military standpoint. I also see where people in high positions are being targeted by traitors and others who have been trialed and suspended. I won’t bother listing all the issues revealed by the forum, anyone can read for themselves and draw their own conclusions, but I hope you see now how saying that Renatus is suffering from unrest is a valid view, and not an insult. Another quote by you Throdo, “I can tell you things have improved after Enor's rule.” This makes no sense to me personally. Enor ruled over Oren and although he had to deal with you and your group’s traitorous ways, he did the best job he could. If he had actually had the help of the people who had sworn allegiance to him, then Oren would have been much stronger than it was. Instead of helping and supporting him though, you and your group chose to undermine him every chance you could, twisting and turning situations to fit your own greedy needs and often, just lying outright. I believe I read where you or one of your group called it propaganda…. Either way, you got what you wanted…somewhat. Enor knew he would not be able to hold Oren together much longer. It was just impossible since most of his aids, advisors and leaders of the military had chosen greed over their nation. He had no army to fight, because due to the action of you and others, he was being forced to fight his own army. (For those of you reading this that served Enor and Oren, who did not take part it these despicable events, please know that none of this is directed at you.) Oren needed to remain intact however. For the safety of its citizens and any future peace that could be found for us, Oren needed to survive as a whole nation. It was a painful choice for Enor, but with the well-being of Oren in mind, he passed the crown to Gaius. He and I both felt that with Gaius’ strong military order, the traitors could be rooted out and Oren would survive. Neither of us had any idea that the rebellion would continue, even after Enor was no longer King. Your entire argument had been that Enor was unfit to rule, but when given another King, you had to create a new argument. I do not remember now what the rebel group’s excuse was when Gaius was crowned, nor do I think it really matters to anyone. What it boils down to is what you and your group wanted, and the hell with Oren and any citizen who stood in the way. I think Gaius did all he could with what little time he had to work with, but the end result was two new kingdoms and the total destruction of Oren. You may say that your and your group’s rule over Renatus is better than that of Enor’s rule over Oren, but it is not true to say that you rule Oren better, since it no longer exists. You and none of your group will ever be able to legitimately say you are the King of Oren. The last king of Oren will always be the man you betrayed. And finally… ”I don't want to worry you about this, just be glad you have made a whole new nation for Aegis! I have read yer lore and it is very nice.Enor I hope you learned from the rebellion and do your best. Dawn, I believe you can rule fairly. Goodluck.” I take this as a thinly veiled threat and yet one more poke at Enor from someone who built a career from stabbing him and his nation in the back. I think we all have learned great a deal from the rebellion, but the point we carry with us is that some people would give anything for power and position, even if it means total destruction of what they claim to fight for. I miss Oren and I miss what the human kingdom used to be. I and many other citizens hate what has happened to our home, but I am also grateful in some small way. Without your actions, Salvus would never have been born. We will fill the void and give voice to those who grow weary of being victimized by greed and deception and together, we will continue growing strong. You tell me not to worry… I’m not worried at all Throdo… My final thought on this matter, you have shown great concern over the accepted nation charter of Salvus. May I also point out that Hanseti too, has an accepted charter…Where is the accepted charter for Renatus? Please do not bother saying that you do not need one, as most would agree that Renatus is not Oren. I mean, there is a reason people say “Old Oren” when referring to where they come from. Their nation of birth is destroyed. Your nation is a new one, same as mine and Hanseti, yet, you have no charter. Seems a bit fishy, doesn’t it?
  24. As I am sure you are aware, the staff of LotC and the builders working on the new map have strived to preserve the secrecy of what the players will encounter once they arrive there. That stated, all I can say is that every nation, new or old, has been given the same opportunities. There is absolutely no favortism on any GM's part toward or against any nation.
