(( I am not really worried about anyone, so far everyone has been welcoming and warm. I am not sure how many years have passed since the last Perea died, but to me, a woman born long after those events, being named "Dawn" and running a bakery as one of the few forms of entrepreneurship available to women in the time period, is not that out of place. I chose the name because it is my choice to make. I chose the profession to earn an income and do something I really enjoy. Any OOC issues related to Asulon can just remain in the past, as far as I am concerned.))

((The old character has been dead for a very long time and many of the current players never met her. There is nothing connecting this new character to the old one but OOC knowlege...I do not see an issue unless someone intends to act against me in an OOC manner. If that is the case Mirtok, then I have to urge you to come to me and talk out any OOC issues you hold against me.))

(( I have had such a great time tonight on the server. Its been so much fun to RP with so many new members and see many old friends and I want to thank you all for the warm welcomes. For some of you that may be confused, please let me clarify this. My current character's name IS Dawn. Dawn is my IRL name and most people call me by it already, so I chose to use it again in RP. Her last name is Ashby...its a bit of a joke based on the fact that the old "Dawn" character died by fire. I, the real life woman, has always enjoyed the RP that the bakeries have created and I wished to do what I enjoyed the most, again. The parallels to my old character come only from this RL influence. My current character is in no way related to the Pereas of the past. I hope this clears up any confusion and hope that this post announcing my new bakery does not become a home for trolls. I hope to see everyone in the bakery soon! :D))

Changing from her dress into her night clothes, Deedee smiled as she recalled the events of the night. Dancing with Thy and racing her brother to finish a tall mug of ale made tonight's party one of the best of her life. Hearing a soft knock on her door, she calls for the visitor to enter, knowing that at this late hour, it must be her brother. She turns to him preparing to continue the onslaught of teases over his loss to her in their drinking contest, but is rendered speechless by the sight of him. Standing in the dim candle light, he appears pale and is visibly shaking. Rushing to his side, she demands to know what is wrong, what has happened. He does not answer, but only raises his eyes from his interwoven fingers to meet her own. There, seemingly etched into his very soul, is her answer. Her dearest Papa, the core of her world, has left them.
