The Sun
The Moon
The Death...
Such are the words of an ages-old Prophecy, which tell us Mages, that the end of all has come. But it has not come yet, fortunately...
The First Writing
The High Prince has honoured me! He has allowed me to build a Tower in his princedom. I feel...flattered, as would the humans say.
Alas, it is yet to be finished, as a Mage is always traveling, always doing something, which keeps him away from home.
Today, i've met an Orc within the western part of Laurelin. He has told me that Dwarves have attacked their kind without a warning.I was shocked."Weren't the Orcs and Dwarves at peace by now?" i though. It seems the scales are balancing again...
As i was traveling to visit the Gauntlet, a fancy looking Arena of Elven craft, i have met an Elf called "Alyxander". He has mentioned that a Dwarf has attempted theft from Elven barracks. A coinsidence? No.Someone is behind this,i was certain of it. I have traveled all the way to Kal'Urguan, going through the Whispers Isle and an unknown port city. When i arrived,i saw a cage within the city."Horrific", i thought. They allow such merciless torture in public! Trying to ignore the hideous and rotten flesh smelling cage, i traveled to the Grand Halls. The gates were open, with no guards watching. I thought that they've taken a break, only to find out the whole Kingdom is...missing. Luckily, i managed to find out some names of the possible Dwarven attacker and thief.
I returned to Laurelin wounded. The monsters were attempting to delay me,but they failed. I now rest in my Tower's bed,as i write this into my Journal. Hopefully, the next day will be more brighter than the last one.
The Second Writing
I've recieved a gift from an unknown person. It was a Diamond Pickaxe. With it, came a note saying "This will help you to succeed in your project". I must say, that even for a Mage like me, it is truly strange. Nevertheless, the pickaxe has proven it's worth.
I still remember my old home, Ha'Nar. I will probably never see it again, as i was reasigned here, to Aegis. What was the Arch' Magus thinking, sending me in here? He should've sent one of the apprentices instead! But, according to him, they are not experienced enough. Bah! I can't believe i resigned from being an Arch' Magus when i did, only problems now! Atleast i got the luxury of quitting the mission whenever i seek. For now, my only assignment is to gain the trust of one or more leaders in this region. He wants me to lie, but i simply cannot. I was taught not to lie ever in my life, and i'm not willing to break this promise just yet. And Isabelle... She must've died already... She was not a Mage, so it's unlikely that she survived as long as we did. I promised her to return...
*this part of the page is a bit scrambled* Bah! I fell asleep while writing. I'm way too old for living. Nevermind that for now. For now, i must keep to my assignments. The next ones are about to arrive soon...*this part is soaked in water, and cannot be read*
The Third Writing
About time i return home! Darned Mages keep calling out Counsils after Counsils, just to chit chat about Orcs and Humans.I'm so tired right now,all that sitting and half-listening was very bothering.
But not all was useless to listen to.Arch' Magus has noted that Humans are up to something, and it is our duty to find it out.He suspects that the Human King is up to summoning the Undead into Aegis from the First World, where Ag'Ra'Nok was banished, but managed to gain full leadership and control.I will have to find out more about this.So far,i only got an Official Order of the 'Klan Nakh Magus' to the King to temporarily stand down from his post and cooperate with us during this investigation.IF he refuses,we will be forced to use Magic against him,and i do not wish to do that.
I've met an elven boy named Amroth yesterday.I could sense that he is an able Mage,so i asked him to become my Apprentice.
He has accepted my offer.
We shall see how good he is....
