That's something even cooler to tell you; It doens't touch any existing DayZ code. There are no violations of rules so long as this remains strictly a map, which is exactly why I feel LotC should choose Lingor over Cheranus.

Comments and likes are incredibly appreciated! Lingor Island is this new map modification for DayZ. The map is roughly the same size as Cheranus, but has more vehicles, friendlier players, and better graphical performance. I strongly suggest that the LotC DayZ servers switch to Lingor, with a separate hive! My video is just my first experience playing this.

As some of you may have already known, I have placed several tents all over #1 LoTC server. To compensate the difficulty of finding these tents that have varied over something as simple as a can of food and water, to a NVG, or a rangefinder. But personally, I'm going to give away my gear to one specific person. The first one who posts on this thread with a Day Z account will recieve: - AS50 ( 6 Mags ) - Solider clothing. (Only 20 known have been placed into DayZ. It's sort of like the mountaindew finatic) - 6 Steak - 6 Water Bottels Backpack- Alice Pack ( L82WS NVT [it has a nightvision and thermal scope] Rangefinder, and Nightvision Googles.) The reason I'm giving this away is because I'm going to be doing some recording and people generally go after those with the best gear. Previously stated before, passwords aren't allowed. Bigger communities have tried, you all just best make the most of it. I for one play on any low-populated servers. LotC is one I specifically avoid because of the community. I find nicer strangers than LotC Rper's.

Are you launching the beta patch? I just saw you in-game today before I left to visit the fireworks (US Holiday). You can't launch DayZ from the Operation Arrowhead application as it can not find the files for Day Z as of the latest update. Edit: I was thinking you're launching the editied version, when you are infact running default Operation Arrowhead. My friend Sweord had the same problem, and I had him delete the entire folder of installation and redo it and it worked just fine. Did you install it from steam, or from BizStudios.com?
