For the Blood of Azog
A swift wind fell down upon Athera shaking trees at the sides of stone roads with an unrelenting vigor. Spirits were wild with discussion on this particularly cold night. Deeply hidden in the forests near the Milvian bridge lay the foundations of a camp belonging to the Azog Clan, recently in exile. A majestic yet knowingly dangerous sight of Royal Purple and Charcoal tents hugging each other, while also being hidden somewhat by the intense shrubbery surrounding the encampment. Traditional Azog musics also flowed, inspiring the Azog-hai into action, dance and songs of past glory. Ologs hauled massive amounts of lumber and quarried stone into their proper places so as to bolster the camp’s fortifications in the event of attack at dawn. Many past Azogs had assembled, along with new faces. Orcs who had proven themselves on the many pilgrimages undertaken by the Clan in their absence of the Warnation. Snoop directed the routine of the camp along with the new blood while other seniors discussed current events and how to handle the situation they found themselves in. Inside the command tent they bickered back and forth injecting the immediate area with a sense of urgency. Yagak roared and ranted to his comrades of the revival of Zogrocka, and the demolishing of San’Vitar. He paced the tent, in too much of a rage for him to sit and boil. Both Tadok and Maur, whom sat at the wartable both then continued after Yagak had long burnt himself out. They expressed their concern over the orcish conquest of Rayne, once an Azog Protectorate, along with the false Rax occupation their old encampment in part of the savannah which used to house the Azog Jungle which was disrespectfully torn down. Finally though, Urik whom sat at the far end of the table silenced his fellows with a bellow. The Elders of Azog moved to harken the words of their Wargoth. “Our Clan has seen days far before those whelpling clans. The Yars rose into place because we supported them over their old kinsmen of Ugluk, the Laks are newborns in the crib of this new continent, and the Raxes simply false.” Urik paused for a moment, gathering his thoughts and letting the musk of the tent calm him. “None but the Lur and Gorkil should we respect, orcs of both clans have treated us with respect especially those of our mother clan. But those of the elder clans are mostly gone and now the whitewash skah on Orcish culture that of our own clan. There was a time when whitewash didn’t rule the Uzg and spit on what it means to be an Orc!” Urik’s voice boomed as he finished, the echo of his voice being answered by thousands in the night. “For the honor of us all, for the blood of the black skins!!” Urik howled, battering the wartable with his wrinkled yet sticky hands. An encore of a sort erupted as the clan fed from his raw energy, even those outside the command tent rallied to the call of the long lived Orc.
