Seriously, though. This past month has been pretty disappointing in terms of things getting done, other than the map's release. Listen to Sky.

I shall only PK if the RP is really ******* good, or if my character's death has a meaning or helps a greater purpose.

I know things...but...I'm not saying anything. There are hints to a lot of the lore in the current world. Also Ageis was destroyed, like end of world annihilation bomb destroyed. Like "Oh god they were right, nukes do rip holes in time space" destroyed...so yea.

 

Also, the maps are made from  world painter by the great bearded elf demon god person himself, and then a ton of work goes into it after to prep the map and flesh it out with more detail which is the development period.

Seeing as how people do whatever they want with the basic and original lore now-a-days, twisting it to whatever they see fit, I doubt anyone cares Aegis was technically destroyed forever.

What I hope to see is none of the junk that's around now-a-days.

You may not refuse warclaims. But 3 GMs appointed by an admin will oversee and act as mediators to see if the warclaim should be accepted and to oversee the battle will go smoothly.(I'll explain the GM's role in a few)

This rule is horrible. You should ALWAYS be allowed to say no. Now there is nothing to stop the pvp-hungry ***hats from trying to attack smaller communities that just want PEACE! War = Suck.

Attitudes like this are why we can't have nice things. Seriously, don't do it. It looks bad.

The problem with that system is because those gold blocks and iron blocks do not go ANYWHERE. They vanish completely from what is inferred and do not contribute to anything. We're going to end up with a screwed up economy again if we have stacks of blocks vanishing. If there is war, the gm's should distribute gold ingots to the soldiers to promote a stable economy.

Well, you do waste a lot of resources in war irl that go nowhere. All those dosh spent on war equipment and machinery? Where do they go? No one knows. If anything, it will help rebalance the economy.

Why on earth would a group have to pay to go to war? They already have to supply themselves with armor, weapons, food, etc. To throw this in is just added BS. I don't see the RP reasoning either if your nation is self sufficient... why would we just throw 32 gold blocks and two double chests full of food into the air and have it magically vanish?

Don't act like shite isn't easy to grind or get at this point. Everyone's got a few stacks of iron and gold in their nation chests. Plus, it makes realism sense.

Most of the rules are pretty good, but no raiding would be quite problematic for Orcs who literally run off raiding and banditry

Also apologies for the delay, I debated seriously on whether I should allow settlements be taken without consent, as it was like in Asulon. 

 

The result was negative. But perhaps 2 months of ooc protection sounds too much. We will test the victory and losing conditions, everything will be subject to change over the course of time.

You do realize convincing a server's playerbase of voting to get rewards is a way of fooling new players by making them think the server is actually as good as the minestatus list says? It's not ethical, imo.
Whether this server is worth voting for or not is up for each individual to determine, though. I'm talking in general, expressing an opinion.

Seriously. Stop making these feedback threads and GO BACK TO ROLE-PLAYING.

So far, the only Snow Elf I've seen role-playing like no one's business and actually enjoyed interacting with has been Cupcwakez, and that's been because she's not over here doing posts nor writing comments about their culture nor implied sub-race. She's out there role-playing the culture. Want to fix things? Start RPing and stop giving a **** about the forums.

 

If you want to have fun then go out there and have it! No one is stopping you! Making threads like this one only shows that you do care for what people think and request them to tell you! You're contradicting yourself!

 

Stop being "master race" and having civil wars that revolve around OOC nonsense. That's what we Adunians are for!

ONE. Do stuff.

 

Job One for you as a player is to do stuff; you should be thinking, at all times – “What are my goals? And what can I do to achieve them?” You are the stars of a very personal universe, and you are not going to get anywhere by sitting on your arse and waiting for adventure to come and knock on your door.

 

Investigate stuff. Ask questions. Follow leads. No-one needs you to point out that this is an obvious plot thread while you do it. Mix up scenes, talk to people, get up in their grill. If you’re not playing the sort of character that would do such a thing, find something you can affect, and affect it.

 

If you keep finding yourself pushed to the back of scenes and twiddling your thumbs – why is such a boring character hanging around with the sort of people that Get S**t Done?

 

Be active, not passive. If you learn nothing else from this article, bloody learn this.

 

TWO. Realize that your character does not exist outside of the things you have said.

 

You can write as many pages of backstory as you like, mate, but they don’t factor in one bit to the game unless you show them happening. Are you a shrewd businessman? Cool. Do some business, shrewdly, in front of everyone else. Are you a hot jazz saxophonist? Play the saxophone. Are you a wild elf struggling through social interactions with civilized people? Struggle through those interactions! Don’t go off and sit under a tree, you prick!

 

This ties back into the first point, really; you only exist through your actions. It is not the responsibility of other players to read your backstory, and their characters cannot read minds. Well. Some of them can, but you know what I mean. They shouldn’t have to.

 

So display your talents, your traits, your weaknesses, your connections. Take every opportunity to show, and not tell, the other people in the server what your character is about.

 

Heed these two for feedback. Go out and do things, Snow Elves. Don't waste your time with pointless feedback threads and OOC nonsense.
