Not sure if the votes are counted still, but I really think Kal'Azgoth sounds better. Kal'Hudin could be a smaller city or something. Kal'Azgoth really sounds like a capital city. Also, gotta say that the exteriors looks great! Good work on the building of it!

Hey everyone! I haven't played for quite some time, but I am back for Anthos. I've been busy with real life, but now I feel I have some time to spare for some awesome RP =) I will restart with a new character, but I feel very lost on what has happened during the time I was away. If you have some recommendations on history, happenings and such, that I should read up on, please tell me. I'll try to read the wiki myself, but it is very easy to miss things that was written on the forums. I'm happy to be back, and I'm hoping forward meeting you all in-character so we can have some nice and awesome role-play sessions together. /Possut

Didn't I just RP with you, on that neutral island? I was that confused dwarf :P I'm so lost right now on what is going on, not only in-character. I guess everyone is waiting for Anthos, but still. OOCily, could you perhaps point me on what I should read up on what is happening right now, regarding history, happenings and general stuff? Last time I played was early Asulon.

These Ranks doesn't add any uniqueness to Asulon, since they are already very similar to The Servilex rankings, the guard and army of the City-state of Rienna. The Servilex is not purely out of Roman Rankings, we try to keep it as original as possible. I'd appreciate you changing the rankings so no misunderstandings may occur.

Rienna is located straight south of the Cloud Temple. If you follow the "green" road out of the Cloud Temple, through the Eastern Cloud Forest and into the Mallowyn Woodlands. You'll reach a bridge going over the river, with a sign saying "To the City of Rienna". Follow the road and you will reach Rienna soon.

*You are walking in a desert, lost, starving and thirsty, on the brink of death. You fall to the ground, expecting to land in the sand. Instead you land on something hard. You lift your head from the ground and see the stone continue to dwindle forward. A road. You get up and stumble forward on it. It doesn’t take long until you start to see trees distance. An oasis maybe? You obviously think it is a mirage. A couple of steps further, you focus, and see buildings in the distance. You hurry on, but start to feel weaker. You see colors, yellow and black, a gate, people running towards you. Before you faint off, a friendly voice says: “Welcome stranger. You are in safe hands. Welcome to the City-state of Rienna”.* Three friends, one common vision Many of us remember the day when we was washed up on the shores of Asulon. The escape from Aegis will always weigh heavy in our hearts. But, in this new land of Asulon, there are plenty of opportunities. Three, quite different beings, decided on grabbing one of those. First we have the happy dark elf Sting Surion. Being an elf he soon took shelter in the elven forests of Elandriel. Some may have met him as the innkeeper of The Moon Jewel. He was enjoying life, but didn’t like his situation of life. The forests were under constant attacks of the wild and brute Mori and the Elven establishment of the city was not good enough. He found plenty of friends, one in the grumpy old Captain Eugene Woodbuckle, and also in his two old friends. That leads us to Bartholomeus Lyran, a student scholar, who had dug himself deep into books and studies. Bartholomeus once knew the productive elf Glamdring, helping him run the once famous newspaper, The Aegis Times. When Glamdring left the civilizations of Aegis, Bartholomeus was introduced to his relative Sting. In soul and heart, Bartholomeus is a hard man, but with good sense of business. His urge for freedom led him to help found the City-state of Rienna. Lastly, there was Jack. As a hardworking lore and book keeper of the Realm of Hanseti, he was not without dreams of less tedious work. Jack also new and worked with Glamdring, on the paper, and befriended Sting. Since Jack is a very charming person, he can’t avoid to talk with everyone he meet. When learning the lay of the lands he soon understood that there had to be a neutral ground, for nations and factions to meet at. There was also never a true place of freedom, for the citizens of Asulon. This would be the seed of an idea, a vision. It was the idea of Rienna. The three friends got together and started to plan. In his travels, looking for knowledge, Bartholomeus had found a seemingly perfect place for this neutral meeting point. The three friends walked there, and very soon, the small seed, had grown into a big city. The City-state of Rienna. Information - what is Rienna, our goals, intentions and more The City-state of Rienna is a neutral haven for people to come to, no matter what race you are or what nation or faction you serve. Rienna is a hub for traders to come and go, to buy and sell wares. The weary traveller is also very welcome to stay for a few days, to maybe share a tale and drink some of the locally brewed ale. Everyone should feel safe within the walls of the city. We can guarantee every citizen of Rienna to be fully protected against the evil that lurks outside the gates. Our well built walls and the Servilex, the guard, will ensure this. ((More is yet to be added)) The government of the City-state of Rienna consists of a Council of Representatives and a Parliament. The Council of Representatives takes care of the demands of civilians while the Parliament is focused on administration and state businesses. The representatives are being elected by the civilians, once in a month an election will occur. The council will be led by the Governor. The ministers are chosen by the Prime Minister and the Governor. The four minister positions will be those of Economy, Internal Affairs, External Affairs and Warfare. The Minister of Warfare is also the Servilex Dux. Current politicians: Bartholomeus Riuso, Prime Minister of the City-state of Rienna Shalon, Minister of Internal Affairs Vacant, Minister of External Affairs Vacant, Minister of Economy Vacant, The Dux Vacant, Secretary of the Parliament Sting Surion, Governor of the City-state of Rienna *You find a book laying in the parliament, reporting the first court case in Rienna* ((Clicky)) Here follows an explanation on how a case in the court will be handled. The Justiciar will enter the court room. Anyone present has to stand, and show their respect. Once he takes seat, everyone else will do so to witness trial. The Servilex will then escort the Offender from jail into the box, and the Offended will take the opposite box. The Servilex will announce the Offended’s name, and the Offender’s name and supposed crime. This is formalities and to fill in anybody sitting inside the court room. The Justiciar would have already gotten all the details. The Justiciar will then ask several questions to both Offender and Offended, no effort shall be spared to seek the truth. The Offended and Offender may ask someone close to them to represent them during court. It can be family/friend/lover. By the end of more or less a IRL Hour, the Justiciar will have a choice to postpone the hearing, or make a decision there and then. The Laws and Constitution of the City-state of Rienna *Upon entering the City-state of Rienna you see a sign, saying: By entering the City of Rienna you agree to its laws and regulations. The court of Rienna has the final say in any dispute that may occur.* The City-state of Rienna has an extensive law text that everyone will be a subject to, once one enters the city-state. The Parliament of Rienna has also written a constitution, which explains the different powers in the city-state, together with resource flow and more. *You find a leather bound book laying on one of the tribunes in the Parliament. The title says: The Laws and Constitution of the City-state of Rienna. You start to read it.* ((Click above link to get to the document.)) The Servilex is the guard of the City-state of Rienna. They have sworn to protect Rienna and her citizens at all cost and if needed with their life. The Servilex is highly respected and violators of the law will be arrested and put in front of court immediately. The Servilex is led by Dux, who is also considered to be the Minister of Warfare. If you are willing to apply for the Servilex you have to contact him or his deputy, the Legatus. See the Constitution to learn more about the Servilex. The city of Rienna will have a host of jobs, but there are some particular vacant occupations the City, which demands extra attention, which are as follows: The tho Minister positions of External Affairs and Economy. The Dux and Legatus, the two highest positions of the Servilex (Rienna City Guard) Two Justiciars (Court Judges) ((One in Europe and one US)) If you feel like you are the person for one of these jobs, do not hesitate to send a letter to Sting Surion ((Possut)) using the application format below. Remember, those jobs will not be handed out easily. We need strong and wise persons to work in such important positions. Show us dedication and wisdom, and you are one step further in helping Rienna. Application Format: There are also less important jobs that are open, but highly nonetheless valuable to the City-state of Rienna. They are as follow: Blacksmith Guards Diplomats Tavern keeper Alchemist Farm and animal tenders General shops Market stall owners Contact the leaders of Rienna so we can speak about the jobs. Housing in Rienna The City of Rienna is offering the unique system of having only apartments within the City walls. Never has this been seen in the history of Aegis and Asulon, which we see as a step towards modern times. This will encourage friendship between neighbors and to learn people to live in peace and harmony. Having a wide range of apartment sizes lets us host citizens of all statures and pockets. Once the City has grown to its fullest, we will increase the size of the city, to house a wider range of housing possibilities, including houses, estates etc. ((This post is a subject of change and is still considered a work in progress at this moment))

Have this out in the open, maybe on Cloud Temple territory. Having it in Alras causes even more economic monopoly = BAD!. Also, this is a neutral event, so having it in a nation gives massive bonuses to that nation. (That vote consists of probably Alrasians voting...?) Don't let google buy your invention!
