I have returned after a long time away. I see the city much changed. The new buildings are very impressive. Could someone be kind enough to assist me in unlocking my chest of items so I may claim my possessions? Someone changed the lock while I was away. Thank you.

Teleportation magic would also be nice.

We have neither the men nor the resources for a war. We must secure our borders only and keep such raiders out of our town. Where are the guards? Where are the defenses? Walls are meaningless without soldiers. Soldiers are meaningless without weapons. And at this time our homes and fields have been torn down. Until they are rebuilt we must not speak of war or attack. We must defend our own town only.

I am fine with sapping from another skill for magic if that is needed. You stop focusing on a skill, get lazy with it and it gets worse, while another skill gets better.

Who said our server or LOTC was D&D. Lets be different. Also, once you add in the time for study, ingredients, casting, potential mana, and RP, there is balance. Not to mention the chance of finding a spell. Are you saying someone who knows how to use a sword and wear armor from before just forgets how to once they learn a little magic?

And if we fail? Does Ibless then enter our world? I do not know of these things, but it sounds even worse than taking the fight to the undead. What havoc can he sow? If we flee, we admit defeat. Though, cutting off the blasted Nether does seem like a good idea....

So instead of working on a solution to "corrupt" their land, you will continue to argue? Bah! What a waste. We need solutions, not arguing! And sometimes the craziest ideas may just work.

The undead are bring so much of themselves to us, why do we not bring some of us to them? Gain a foothold in the nether? With enough druids and mages, could we not force some of the taint out? Possible put some of the natural world into the Nether? A safe spot for our warriors? Life will find a way.
