      That's great! :)

      Congratulations!

  2. Oh snap, just seen the promotion on the index, congrats!

  3. Sick banner, really professional aura that comes with it :P People don't need to be convinced LotC is the best server by what they see at Minecon, everything is simply to catch their interests and once they play they'll realize it themselves :]
  4. Trololol... *breathe in / breathe out* [sigh] :ugeek:
  5. I've been playing Skyrim for 16 hours straight and I need rest. This game is just ... magical.

      Agreed.

      Dot for seriousness.

  6. I think you're one major update behind with this thread :/

  8. Minecraft name: Sinstrite Forum name: Sinstrite What do you think are the top five things, that are most important in an application and why? *I'm going to be somewhat harsh explaining this, so sorry if it's offensive* 1- Grammar 2- Motivation to get into character 3- Length of application 4- Ability to be humble 5- Persistence 6- Realism (yep I added one) *Before you waste your time reading below, if this is worthy of acceptance, keep in mind I'll probably be harsh on applications compared to what I've seen others do lately - so if you don't want that harshness then please by all means deny me ;)* 1- If you suck at typing simple words and using proper punctuation, you're going to suck at role-playing in the game, and when you suck at typing in the game while role playing, you're making everyone's role-play and experience around you suck. Please, use spellcheck, or just proof read. Seriously. 2- The motivation to get in character comes from your biography in my opinion. People with a half paragraph of a biography are going to go in the game as a thief, turn evil, get saved by becoming an ascended, only find out it was a dream, in reality they're actually a king... See where I'm going? Write a nice, long, solid and PROPER biography for your character. When you do this, you're actually motivating yourself to get into that character and play them they way they're supposed to be played - the way your "accepted" application intended. 3- This is something that's sad to me Short Application because it's not fair to other people who take their time to write longer and better looking applications. You're also showing the dedication you're willing to put forth by taking the time to increase the length of your application. You're showing that you have a solid grip on the understanding of what's required from you as a player and not someone in the position of authority on the forums or the server. Length is an importance many people don't think about. (That's what she said). 4- You need to be ready for someone to deny you. People to critique you. People to re-pull your application up in the future to make fun of it just in good spirits. It's probably going to happen if you're not a person with a unique application, or whom didn't take the time to spell check it and make sure it's not make-fun-of-able. (lulz). When people do this, take it with stride, smile, joke with them, and move on. Learn from your mistakes, and if you get denied, use all of the above said information to persist to write a better application next time. This brings us to persistence. 5- Persistence is something not a lot of players I see get denied have, sadly. Along with number four, you need to be humble and be ready to possibly get denied over getting accepted. Don't let your small nerd-heart get crushed and force you to get back on to D&D when you could simply take the 48 hours before re-submitting, to rewrite an awesome and badass application that makes everyone else go, "Well mine is sh!t compared to this guy/girls awesome piece of glory." Trust me, keep at it, and just follow the 48 hour re-submit rule, and you'll eventually get in. If you're not willing to atleast do that much, then you're not willing to actually follow the role-play rules and the server rules in my opinion. Prove me wrong. 6- Realism is simple. Before you submit an application, please look through a few pages. Take note of the difference to accepted and denied ones. You can easily see that most of the people with realistic characters never have problems. If you're going to be a flying, space rocketboot wearing, half elf half orc who was an Undead in his past life but reincarnated as the son of the Ascended Lord - Yeah... you get the point... Don't be stupid and you won't have a problem with people thinking you're stupid. To Shift or anyone else my email is [email protected]
  9. I'd like this one when possible. IGN: Sinstrite I'm Bedrock btw.
  10. Awesome, I can't wait to be stuck in my house under a blanket watching the Livestream ;) You guys are gonna kill at Minecon - I'm gonna kill at my photoshopped screenshots I take of Shift dressed up ...
  11. Woo, kidney stones again! And I drink a ton of water! Yeah!!!

  12. You can ask to have this moved to the trade section; Generally people looking for work, to make deals, money, or to trade items for other services go to trade =]
  13. I really need to stop doing drugs. I mean Minecraft >_>

  14. That changes each time you buy a package even if you're Bedrock, I'm buying an Iron pack for every $100 donated for the Mine-con event, so once that's finished I'm going to pm an admin to have it changed back.
  15. You're working pretty hard on this lately, it's good to see the dedication. If that big update happens to be skills, I'll <3 you long time ;)
  16. Very unique, I really like the cartographer aspect you offer. Good luck with the business ;) [[i may look to hire you when the 1.9 map is released.]]
  17. Just a curious question, but I'm a bedrock donator in-game. On here, it shows I'm iron because I'm buying an iron pack for every $100 donated for the Minecon event. If I were to now buy more iron packs, would that downgrade me to iron in-game, or would I stay bedrock? Thanks!

  19. Not entirely aimed at you; But that's a java launcher, thus works multi platform even mac. If you still get the error, try manually installing the class files, etc into your minecraft.jar ZIP
