  1. *Posted right next to the painting and writing of the foreseen event, a scroll is unravel and placed on a nearby counter top. It reads in fine black and gold lettering* Dear Asulonians, These prolonged dark nights can only mean one thing, to celebrate the shrouded and mysterious ways of our world. To best execute this celebration, a masquerade ball room dance will be held in the new tavern town of ShadowVale, just down the road from cloud temple heading to the Dwarves. *The notice goes into great detail along with some loose sketches on how to find ShadowVale* Be careful though, the road is very dangerous, but once you are inside, we have the greatest and best defended walls. Everyone is invited wether you are of nobel blood or not, as long as you have a costume, if you cannot find a costume in time, full gold or diamond plated armor, or at least the head dress will suffice. For without a costume, you may be subject to denial to the ball room area. This promenade will feature all sorts of activities for you. Number one being Dance and music ((Go to teamspeak channel ShadowVale for the music)) There will be dancing all throughout the night for the most part, once we have max capacity, we will move on to the games which may include finding a yourself a close partner. Afterwards we will all head down for the grand dinning feast with cake. Simple as that, bring a date or come alone and never reveal who you are!
  2. Well anyway, the dance is on whether the party poopers like it or not, be in some sort of disguise, even if is just diamond or gold armor, you will not be accepted into the town otherwise. There will be wine, music, dancing, love, guessing games, musical chairs, cake and more.
  3. Down with the school system I say. Originally, I thought the calendar events acted like ingame broadcasts in a way. It's common ic knowledge, as if these holidays always existed. It would seem we have been treating it like that for every previouse calendar event so far, no one ever said the black moon was any different.
  4. Still want to do yours Happy, just me and my friends want a reason to use our Masquerade skins already. This one will be completely harmless though. No traps... Mostly.
  5. Because isn't the whole point of the Calendar events supposed to give players time frames to celebrate good times and have events of our own? I am just thinking of what is fun for the community. Give us stuff to do. I can see how it can be seen as meta gaming but really I had been planning to throw this on my IRl birthday but the ball room was not complete at that time. I just figured more players would be on, but with nothing to do cause then only the Mori and Orcs would be having fun at this time. Who does it hurt to have fun at the cost of doing something at the borderline of meta if it is not some information used to get an advantage over other players. Metaing this information to throw a party that everyone benefits from? I only mean good by it. We will be so drunk on good times and mostly indoors to notice something is actually wrong anyway.
  6. Thats why I put on the start of the post that Incase we don't know this as a IC thing then I am just throwing a Masquerade to celebrate the final construction of the ball room in ShadowVale. Im a Lord I do what I want. Or maybe I am celebrating my IRl birthday in a belated fashion and its just a coincidence that the night is extended. W/e the reason, ICly I am throwing a Masquerade and all of Asulon is invited. It wont be called the Black Moon festival ball. Just "Vale of Shadows".
  7. So far its looking like a masquerade. http://www.minershoes.com/skin/view/i4f7248e23d03324822414711764894487148241 So lets get in the mood. I want to see people looking like this.
  8. Thank you. I'm just worried about the turn out so please get the word out.
  9. Im thinking 10:00pm GMT 3:00pm PST 6:00pm EST Here is the celebratory dance for the extended night. Or so the astronomers tell us. Or do we not know this IC? If not then we will have a dance party and never go home because the night still appears to be young. The dance will be at ShadowVale hosted in the ball room area below the town, where normally only villains are aloud but this night, all are welcome. Question is though, should I make it a masquerade or not? Pro - Very villainous looking and fitting and we can pick party goes out from party poopers. At the gates, or maybe to the villain only lounge is where you will be denied entrance if you do not have a full disguised costume. Con - Not a lot of time to get a costume together especially for you non skin makers so there would most defiantly be a smaller crowd. If not that night, I will host a masquerade another night and so take this time now to start your costume anyway because the next dance I host will be a masquerade for sure. For directions refer to this post. I am to lazy to get screens and post them again http://www.lordofthecraft.net/forum/index.php?/topic/49664-the-feast-of-spring-rebound/page__p__377151__hl__shadowvale__fromsearch__1#entry377151 If we get yeses by the 28th then its masquerade if no then its not.
  10. After getting word to blow out his red stone lamps at ShadowVale, Dash ponders. It is clear the dragon has been by there for a drink before, but could not fit through the gates, leaving its mark. Perhaps turing off all the lamps, and being within a dense forest that the town is in, would be beneficial. Instead though, Dash scoffs at the idea, bad for business. He leaves the lights on of his little town. Mew Mew men, villains of all sorts, friends of all kinds, room renters. This place is far to busy to close up every night.
  11. Glad to hear it, thank you. Mission accomplished, eye sight cleared.
  12. ((well put, well put indeed. Still stands though. We are villains and do evil things like disturb the peace. Do I have to state in the terms that it is a sneak attack? Thieves don't attack outright and notify people we are striking. Yet even still, that does not mean you could be a around and since your in the forest it would make sense for you to be armed for passing bandits or monsters. and that is the whole point of this war claim system. Its more of an OOC warning to get people online to be in place for the event.))
  13. ((Good to hear you are finally back. But if it is not abandoned then please finish it already. But my claim still stands, your establishment is a disgrace to the cloud forests and must be demolished. Being a manor, it must also have some fine loot the Thieves would enjoy bathing in. The master thieves is a villain group, we love to attack the peace.)) ((Edit: the PMed conversation was on march 22. The war claim is for april 28th. ))
  14. ((I thinks it better this way. The more conflict the better. Don't be diplomatic, be the bigger stick and beat adjacent settlements into submission.))
  15. Recommenders MC Name: Sandy_Bandit The recommended MC Name: Archmage_Cataris Screenshots of Work: One of his greatest creations was a town made on the the map that was meant to be Asulon originally. During the end of Aegis, this map was being constructed, and Cataris had begun making the town of Farborough. It was a place for thieves and the whole villain underworld to converse and be evil. It made the best use of the swamp lands as a very dark and run down yet masterfully built town. Sadly, there are no screenshots, but just ask Native how supreme that build was. References of Roleplay: Played a large part in the Aegis Undead conflict chapter as one of the main antagonists. He played a number of other characters on the server, all sacrificing their lives for the sake of the purest of role play moments. Other Info: He dedicates more to his role play than building because, in my opinion, he acts as a role model for the entire server and inspires the best ways to role play a situation. All this responsible role playing has left the server without his great builds but when does build, it is colossal.
  16. No as in not a 3 vs 3? Is it a team thing or not?
  17. Is it 3 renowned rpers vs 3 best architects with the challenge being, build a fine looking house with as little material possible? How are role player skills tested?
  18. Awwww. You're a legend mate! Thanks for that link.

  19. Yea its not our normal line of work. What with giving back and deconstructing places completely.
  20. *The smell of rum, fish and ocean worlds, wafts out of the building, as Dash Leaves for his rowboat on the docks.
  21. Opposing Faction: Master Thieves Guild Defending Faction: Abandoned manor owned by an unknown character((Juvens)) Name of the battle: The clearing of debris in your eye Location: South Western Cloud Forest. X -932 Z 367 Time, (at least 5 days warning): ((28th of April starting at 3:00pm PST 10:00pm GMT)) Terms: For sometime, this unfinished manor lay there. The Master thieves simply see it as a way to give back to the cloud temple monks, and take some loot for themselves. The wealthy man who owns it is no where to be seen. We mean to Loot it for all its got, take its woman, and burn it to the ground For the good of the Cloud Temple monks. Structures such as this do not even belong in the wilds. We might enlist the help of the neighboring town of ShadowVale, but they seem to not want anything to do with it. ((IC The Master Thieves work out of the town, but do not want to be traced back to it, and so their base of operations stay unknown to all)) With the time alloted he may amass a force to defend his eye sore or get protection from the monks. Our force will only be stopped diplomatically by the monks. (I think it is a non pvp zone so RP fighting all the way, if anyone does stand up to fight which we doubt.) Rewards: Ownership of the land returns to the monks, Master thieves split the loot with the monks. If the defenders win, he keeps his land and if he catches a master thief, could possibly find the location of their base.
