    So I've been trying to come up with a new character idea for 3.0... Is anyone interested in creating a small group of peaceful monks who sustain themselves with small farms (Strictly for survival, not profit) and they revolve around writing books (in-game) on the current history of the world, starting with 3.0 meaning we would track the important events in the new land up until our group dies out basically... It's a work in progress at the moment.

      Or you could contribute to LoTC's RP overall as opposed to being a self sustaining group that doesn't require anything from outside sources, putting a stop to any possible external RP for your group or outsiders could have. (I think it's a bad idea.)

      It is likely that we would sell copies of our books to those who are interested. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if we sought out other people for their input, such as putting quotes in the books.

      I had a similar idea a while back, but with a more open attitude. Sort of like an order of scholars who gather knowledge, theorise and educate people. They would encourage people to visit their sanctuary to learn, especially nobles who send their children to them to have the best education possible. There would also be a more militant/exploratory arm dedicated to field research on the new world.
