  1. If the current generation of mages had a standardized strength they'd be going by then I think this would be more viable; right now a mage's strength is mostly arbitrary and left to RP. If there were a norm that was established, I think this would be more viable. For the time being, I think this will only make people think that it removes any weakness due to the current way magic is RP'd, (not that it's entirely true.)

The maskless Sorvian, deplete of individuality.

All they retain are their eyes for seeing, their nose for breathing, their mouse for seeing, their ears for hearing.

    Alright. Don't forget that:

    • One does not simply learns old blah
    • It's hard to identify old blah
    • Pls pick me :((((
    • pls.

Also, can they learn any form of magic?

How does the holding of the appearance works? Jevex waltz in and takes his things to his own realm? The creation of a sorvian would also be a way of worshipping of Jevex? Also, it'd be nice if you could make so that the creator of a sorvian must fevorously worship Jevex in order to make a sorvian

I think it was just a neat idea to be made so that there would be these beings that are fervent worshippers of different gods and the spirit was an origin but not a main factor in the entire thing. That's just me though.

I don't think it'll go too far if it's made too connected to Shamans, it's supposed to be more varied than that by the sounds of it. They cannot learn magic, the lore says that.

  4. At what point will the Ascended realize their leader betrayed Aerial's wishes by being a soul in an enderpearl instead of in its natural cycle?

When will mech technology spread to the Orcs so they can proceed to become Big Bosses from Warhammer?

  5. While the lore in itself is a good write (although a bit lengthy for its actual explanation,) it seems to really only add onto blood magic's already expansive skill-set and abilities. Although it's slightly different from Arcane Displacement, I feel as though this would do better as an attachment to their magic as it is their particular specialty and purpose, as opposed to a summoning/empowerment/creation magic that's pretty plump in content already.

I don't see many instances in which this would legitimately provide much RP for anyone aside from the Blood Mages and their associates, as it only gives those that enter the experience of it as opposed to a summoning ritual that would actually interact with people. From my POV it's a means to gain more for the magic, albeit not maliciously, and provide more for the group itself rather than the playerbase itself.

My main thought is that it doesn't really provide much RP to anyone other than the Blood Mages and only allows for more capabilities as opposed to other places of magic that don't want to take as much time writing up lore such as this or find it unnecessary as they're not as much of a niche group. There's a lot to be done with the way Blood Magic currently is and I don't think it needs anything else to tack on because of an idea that was had about it. I fail to see how it enables players to become their own antagonists as well.

There's a lot to say about it, but all in all it just doesn't seem like it's going to genuinely give anything to anyone except for those who know it, which might not even be all the blood mages in the already tight knit conglomerate it has going for it. It reads like there's a lot of fluff to the writing to make it larger to the eye and simpler explanations would've been better for something that altogether is looking into other planes of existence and going into them.

Like I said, it's nicely written. I don't mean for this to be an insult but I wanted to throw the two cents in there along with some criticism.

  6. It seems like it's a way to implement the magic that was denied previously, mainly from the section in which it begins to explain how the blessed human souls can effect the world and what not. The touchy subject behind it is that the Humans basically decide whoever is to ascend, and if it were the font of creation I see no reason as to why it would exclude all others.

It does also seem very similar to the Spirit Realm, which doesn't separate it much from what's already put forth aside from the fact its made out to be stronger. Kind've how its described to be believed where the creator is and how all the higher deities came from it; which is somewhat of a big leap from previous lore. It being the heart of creation is a very odd and somewhat intrusive stance considering all the lore on the server currently.

I think the biggest problem is the similarity to the Spirit Realm, and how regardless of those similarities it's the initial font of creation and is powerful over such; even where the Daemon of the Spirit Realm came from initially. It'd complicate a lot of things and seems like a bit of a shove as a means to get past the denial of the previous deific magic put forth.

  7. Not to put the work down at all, but it's also plausible to emote your character having an accent and leaving it up to another player's interpretation/imagination. Probably saves a lot of confusion too.

    • Do you hold / have you held any other staff positions?

I've held multiple positions in the past, both as ET, multiple application teams and Global Moderation Team. I currently do not hold any of the above.

    • What MMORPG/video games have you/do you play (past and present)? ESO, Overwatch, Total War: Warhammer, Dark Souls (Series Overall,) and many more.

What are your characters? Are you willing to sacrifice any to become a event department member? My current characters are Eldhen, Ambriel Foucat and Nedric; I'd most definitely be able to put them aside to become a member of the event team department. I've many ideas I'm interested in throwing out there, and more time would probably be dedicated into that than the characters of my own. Though I do like to not put them entirely on the side, knowing full well that it'd lose a bit of connection with the RP.

    • What race / group do you think your events would best cater to? If none in particular, give an example of the type of group that your events would entertain.

Though I feel like many of the ideas I have could have a good impact on any who'd become involved in them I feel as though the group looking for more intricate story would take more to my events. While having much to do in them, there's usually underlying aspects flecked in to see if the players involved would seek it out and become fully engrossed in the created setting.

    • What do you believe are key factors for a successful event?

Key factors in a successful event would most likely be comprised of cooperation and intricacy; ensuring that there are proper steps and that things are thought out enough to the point where a player's actions would have an impact on the story. I think it's important to cooperate with those involved with the event and ensuring that they're enjoying themselves but are given a fair enough challenge. Things should be dynamic with an event, and a player's actions shouldn't be limited to a minuscule amount of choices when they could act however and be responded to in an appropriate fashion.

    • What strengths could you contribute to the event department? Are you knowledgeable in lore or great at organizing?

I can contribute much to the department in terms of knowledge on lore, as well as my creativity spawning many ideas I'd like to share. I like the fact that I'm able to create my own coherent ideas and give them to the community so they can enjoy it or see it as they wish to, My flexibility and effort allows for various services, I think it would give much to the server as a whole.

    • Why do you want to be part of the ED?

I want to be a part of the ED in order to give some of my ideas to the server and provide roleplay in general. It's the ultimate opportunity to introduce story and roleplay to players while working with various people to mix and mash ideas.

    • Create three distinct RP scenarios/events based on LOTC lore that you would organize. These are pitches to the managers and the lead, not to the community. Note: not all of the group must be handled at once. Eg: 20+ people via 5 person increments in a dungeon.

    • How long do you plan to stay on the ED?

I plan on staying on for as long as I can, as coming up with new ideas is definitely a strong suit and assisting others would only bolster the activity.

    • Tell me a joke!

If a schizophrenic threatens to commit suicide, is it a hostage situation?

  8. An aging entity's form would receive the letter while wandering the forestry of the world. Old rust caked gauntlets would unseal it slowly, looking over the ornate letter with predefined opinions. A light flicker of turquoise would silently watch over the Archwraith's shoulder, documenting the note with all due neutrality. No sound or response would usher out, but with a meager wave of its metallic ligaments the light would move closer, and its shadowy form would nod.

Vinzakra would meander off into the depths of the world, searching for their newfound meeting place, thinking on the aspect of meeting all those present.

Those are examples of what could be inactive lore - magic lore and creature lore. The same is for the active list. I could have put actually inactive lore in the active list, but just focused on making an example and outlining the variables. It doesn't mean any of the lore follows the context of their exemplary term.

    Aight, my bad then.
