Production on the smithies coerce some of the Newborns into studying the art of blacksmithing, understanding its intricacies and what it may have to offer to the race in whole. Ake, the Chosen had since been without use, finding himself consumed with the doings of his people and often times observing their work with the luxuries of their boon coming to him. It was a time of growth in his eyes, and such decadence must be reduced.

Ake, the Chosen would lead a small contingent of Viscosa Southward into a clearing within the Bizaram Crags, seeking to both explore and discover what the world may further have to offer. In the mean time production continued, creating a bustling community, beneath the ground being developed for the housing of the tribesmen and women. Communal classes were held to pass on this unique druidic language that the book gave to them, and different Ascendants were taught the ways of druidry, trusted to them and their ancient demeanor.

    Actions

    1. 5/5 Druidic Ascendants teach Ascendant disciples the ways of druidry, and spread the druidic language.

    2. 100/225 Ascendants continue to build the smithies along the underground tunnels. (1 Turn Left.)

    --------------------------

    3. 125/225 Ascendants go with Ake, the Chosen on his personal quest.

    4. 150/590 Newborns go with Ake, the Chosen on his personal quest.

    5. 150/590 Newborns continue producing the home expansions beneath the ground. (4 Turns Left)

    6. 200/590 Newborns harvest and replant crops to feed the masses, sending a surplus with the questing army.

    7. 90/590 Newborns go beneath the earth to go through the ritual of becoming an Ascendant, seeking enlightenment. (3 Turns Left)

Time went by over the time the first of the newborns were sent beneath the earth, hoping for them to rise once more. Ascendants and newborns alike awaited their arrival, and eventually the new Ascendants tore out from their stone cocoons and into the world once more. Some who undertook the ritual had died, fallen to the land, as they put it. Those ten who did not make it were mutilated and spread to the land so their lives would help more life grow. Eggs from breeding insects would surely come out soon, and with time bring forth a new generation of life's cycle.

Harvests remain stable it would seem, allowing for the population to grow forth further while the living expansions were built. With the rise of new Ascendants they were to be brought back into the world knowing what occurred over some of the past, teaching them back from their comatose state what their bodies did not naturally remember. A high interest was constantly taken into the book and the language it could provide, hoping to unlock secrets that would enable a thriving race and lead into their true ascendance.

Most of the Ascendants were content with the knowledge they bestowed upon the Newborns as they moved on, allowing more of their time to be taken by the news on Asmund. The glowing material could apparently be used to form weapons, though the Viscosa were not too appealed to their use. Nonetheless they persisted, and as tunnels were devised to hold more rooms for the population of Viscosa, some of them would be made into varying smithies.

Otherwise life continued per usual, and all they could do is rely on the Ascendants to guide their new brethren back into life, and assimilate within the culture.

    Actions

    1. 3/5 Druidic Ascendants study into the secrets the book has to offer.

    2. 2/5 Druidic Ascendants study the language and expand upon its uses.

    3. 100/225 Ascendants work on building smithies within the underground tunnel systems, assisted by the assumed natural flow of heat and magma.

    4. 25/225 Ascendants teach the newly risen to get back into life, and properly use their new found anatomy after their ascendance.

    5. 200/590 Newborns farm to nurture the growing population, staying within their duty.

    6. 90/590 Newborns take an interest in the Druidic language, watching over the two studying it as a means to learn it along with them.

    7. 150/590 Newborns begin taking stock of how much Asmund they current have in possession.

    8. 150/590 Newborns would begin to follow the tunnel builders into the depths, seeking to find any Asmund they encounter as they dig through the countless depths.

With the return of Ake, the Chosen a large home was carved from stone; forming a home for what would now be considered the head of their race. The champion returned with the Dragon's answer, to which the Ascendants bowed their heads; some of the newborns left in confusion. This philosophy of following your heart is passed down to the newest of Viscosa, guiding them along with the understanding of the land.

With the rise in numbers new homes were carved from the ground and stone; intricate tunnels spinning like a web from the original dig site. They were all interconnected, a system of openness becoming the norm among all Viscosa. What would be one's own belongings in another tribe would be considered wholly the race's, interpreting the "follow your heart" mentality as the heart being the people's entirety, and that all of them should follow it in unity.

Over the rest of the time the five Ascendants whom knew how to interpret the found text would study it in solitude beneath the ground; stalagmites and stalactites spreading the humid and dank air across the three as they sat and read all they could. On top of that, two of them began to look more into the language itself, trying to discern what they could into a full language more specific than the common tongue. All of them worked together, intertwining their thoughts into a puzzle-like scheme.

Otherwise times went on per usual, the Newborns reproducing and the Ascendants keeping their prying eyes over whatevr studies kept them. Farms were harvested to sustain the peoples and with time, help them grow.

    Actions

    1. 3/5 Druidic Ascendants further study the secrets of Druidism.

    2. 2/5 Druidic Ascendants further the study of the Druidic Language.

    3. 100/135 Asendants teach Newborns of philosophy and language, hoping to increase the intelligence of generations to come.

    4. 35/135 Ascendants study Asmund to improve upon their past knowledge.

    5. 100/440 Newborns remain in comatose within the Earth.

    6. 140/440 Newborns proceed to farm, adding 40 more onto the growing crops.

    7. 200/440 Newborns proceed to expand the tunnels and build more homes out of stone underground, undergoing a large project.

At the sound of the draconic horrors demanding a pilgrim, the Viscosa were uncaring to send a single one of their men to discover what knowledge awaited. One singular Ascendant sought the path to the shores, resilient as their people always were, killing along the way as a means to eat when necessary. Their name was Ake, the Chosen. An appropriate name for his trial at hand, eventually reaching the shores and awaiting the foretold quest.

In the mean time the Newborns gathered all the picks and spears that could be scavenged; taking the tome to the deepest recesses of the caverns so that the Ascendants could focus their time on it. A store chamber was made to contain these glowing stones, to which they named Asmund. The Asmund was stored properly and with care, never once unguarded by the Viscosa Ascendants.

It was only so long until a new number of Newborns were carved into the stone, taking shelter in the earth like their forefathers and entering the yearly comatose state. Per usual a large number of Newborns remained tending the farms, dealing with their food supply appropriately. A subsequent number of Newborns moved to the taken canyons as a means to colonize it and add onto the Herd's reach. An expansion was to be made, and established hastily with what the goblins left behind.

    Actions

    1.  70/140 Ascendants study the mass number of varying Asmund in all the many ways they can.

    2. 70/140 Ascendants study the magic book along with the acquired staff from the War Chief.

    3. 100/440 Newborns are left to farm and supply the peoples with food.

    4. 100/440 Newborns go into comatose beneath the Earth, safe from the outer world for the time being.

    5. 240/440 Newborns move to the new unoccupied canyon hex to settle it and move into it for the Viscosa.

With word of the abundant supply that the small green men held the digging Ascendants break off, the supported tunnels remaining hollow from the earth. With a deciding factor of needed assistance the researching Ascendants depart from their minor studies to march. Altogether they move, the harvest festival ending to send some of the newborns toward their new goal. Some Newborns stay back, tending to the current crops.

With the storm not striking those upon the poles, they're taken back down, having achieved self-assumed enlightenment. With their massing numbers they gather, Ascendants with stone hides and empty husks taking the from while Newborns with spears stand behind them. It was without command a small force of Newborns dispatched to the top of the canyons, while the Ascendants and their children hidden behind them approached. Altogether they charged, seeking to rend through the goblinoids with their hardened forms and rain of spears from the top of the canyon; their ultimate goal to trap them within and rain spears down upon them until their numbers were enough to capture if possible.

    Actions

    1. All 150/150 Ascendants charge into the entrance of the canyon in an attempt to take it over, and from thereon hold it; using their thick stone hides to guard.

    2. 300/500 Newborns stand atop the canyons, raining spears down unto the goblinoids, looking to slaughter any stuck within with precision while they're trapped in the narrow routes.

    3. 100/500 Newborns stand behind the Ascendants and stab forward at any charging enemies, using their ancestors as a stone wall of protection.

    4. 100/500 remaining Newborns stay within their villages, harvesting the farms and tending to them appropriately.

The eventful days leading up to the finding of these stout green beings were filled with farming and breeding. As they discovered the green men word reached back into the settlements; breeding an inquisitive state from all. Some of the digging Ascendants sought that same knowledge, moving their cobbled bodies and husk-infested insides to follow the scouting party to only add onto protection. They surely surrounded the canyon's tops, moving to climb to the top of them and peer down at the goblinoids.

In the mean time the harvest ensued, both plants and people alike seeking to bolster the tribe's peoples. As long as such occurred, the uncaring Ascendants continued digging and studying into the glowing stone's structure. Soon they would name it, though for the time being they remained at their studies for days at a time without rest. Some of the Newborns leave the farms as a means to tend to the usual studies; and are strapped to giant pikes awaiting a storm; hoping to discover something if anything from the desperate plea.

    Actions

    1. 50/150 Ascendants continue to dig tunnels upon tunnels into the depths of the land, branching in multiple directions but always being remembered on how to traverse the creviced halls.

    2. 50/150 Ascendants proceed to study the stone as they had before.

    3. 50/300 Newborns and 50/150 Ascendants advance to the top of the canyons, peering down into them to scout out what it may contain; and what the goblinoids may be hiding.

    4. 50/300 Newborns continue to tend their newfound farms, mostly comprised of wheat and different herbs they found to not be poisonous.

    5. 150 of the Newborns continue breeding as before, hoping for a very large boost given their dedication and the guidance from their ascendants.

    6. 50/300 Newborns are strapped to giant pikes in the ground toward the skies as the Viscosa look for answers to their life's fulfillment.

While the season progresses the wisest of elders gather around the radiant stone. Upon taking notice of its glow they continue to use their stone-calloused hands to dig further. Some do so while the more knowledgeable take the singular stone in study, using innumerable methods in their experiments. one-hundred of the newborns begin farms near the rivers, harvesting lumber to make simple shelters. The other one-hundred fifty stick to their ritual mating season as the elders concluded.

In total one hundred Ascendants continue digging, while the other fifty pursue research of the brilliant stone they found within the depths of the earth. Altogether they begin settling upon their land, fifty of the remaining newborns scouting out nearby surrounding terrain to seek the best and most resourceful expansions.

    Actions

    1. 100/150 Ascendants continue digging in search of anything mentionable.

    2. 50/150 Ascendants study the found stone, through mainly elemental actions (e.g. flames, running water.)

    3. 100/300 Newborns establish farms on the designated areas, also harvesting lumber but subsequently replanting said trees.

    4. 150/300 Newborns continue their mating seasons in hopes of a prosperous growth in population.

    5. 50/300 Newborns look at the surrounding hexes to see if any are unique or prosperous than the others.

As the whispers of darkness travel unbeknownst to the Viscosa peoples, their newest 'Ascendants' crawl out from hallowed out stone. Some lay rotted carcasses in their makeshift cocoons, but the majority make their way free. The newborns look to their elders, to which the Ascendants responded with the beginning of the harvest, a time for all to reproduce and further bolster their numbers. As the newborns did their bidding, the risen eunuchs strapped the weaker of them to great pikes and awaited the storms.

Others sit within their caves brooding, seeking answers to unknown questions, and to further their people's advancement into the world. Altogether they remain at their roots, seeking knowledge while new children are to be brought into the world.

    1. Attempting to increase population, will choose an extra hex next turn if successful.

    2.  Attempting to look into secrets.

    (Three purple marks.)

    Race Name:

     Viscosa.

    Race Details:

The Viscosa start their lives a regular humanoid, though they never grow any hair. Their bodies seem resilient to natural elements, whether it be temperature or the diseases that grow in the world. Their skin is hearty, though it is still skin and flesh. It is with this that they hold their religious belief.

There is the belief that the lands themselves are made from the Viscosa, instead of vice versa. Due to such thought, they believe that when born, they were exiled by their kin to become the softer, malleable forms that they are. From their growth, to which their age may last for centuries depending on the following; how in tune they are with the land.

In order to literally become one with the land the Viscosa will often lock themselves away into comatose where the 'newborns' will care for them. It is during this time that they will allow plant life to grow over their form, animals and bugs to make their body their home, and even stone over decades scabbing over their skin, making them nigh stone-scaled.

There are legends of other elements imbuing the older of Viscosa, lightning coursing through their nerves and neverending though torment-inducing flame coating their stone bodies as they go to battle. These are but legends Viscosa pursue, with no thought on how to actually do so; lighting themselves aflame or tying themselves high into the sky so lightning may strike them and imbue itself into them.

They settle for what nature can do to their soft forms, and when they finally emerge they look almost made of stone itself, often being bare underneath after years of other wildlife gnawing at their skin. This stone can be stripped, but underneath would be a disheveled, torn anatomy. Thus they believe this to be their reattunement and representation to the closest elements, stone and life.

Those who rise from these comas capable, often become leaders wisened by age and archiving memory. It may be assumed that the delirious legends of old came from crazed 'Ascended,' worn at by the elements. However they do seem very resilient to all forms of elements, especially after ascension into their stone-forms.

  10. What is your Minecraft Account Name?:

    Slic3man/Sheekah

How long have you played on LotC?:

I've played on LotC for 4 years or so, since Aegis.

How many hours per day/week are you available?:

I'm available many hours of the day, and many days of the week. Aside from school (which is relatively easy due to it being my senior year,) I'm completely free and willing to dedicate time to multiple projects.

What lore do you know best on LotC:

Out of all of the lore the most known to me is Necromancy lore, though I like to think that I'm well versed in many of the subjects. I often read them out of interest, and memorize them as such.

Give a Summary of any Staff/Lead positions you’ve held on any Minecraft Server in the past:

I've had multiple moderator positions on multiple servers such as Gildorym and other smaller servers. I also hold a moderator position on LotC, as well as a MAT manager, with a past of being on the Application Team, Villain Application Team (far back when it still existed) and the Event Team. I have a good experience managing a wide variety of doings, whether it be on the forums or in game issues. Many of these would allow me to relay communication between teams, if anything.

Do you have a Skype account? You may post it here, or choose to keep it private until you are asked for it.  Note; Skype is required to communicate with the team and unless you have an account and the program it you will be incapable of joining the team:

I've a Skype, the account name is Slic3man. I've many members of the LMs on Skype as is.

Have you ever written any lore for LotC? We are looking for LKs who either know a lot, have a lot of ideas— or preferably both. So lets see what you have done. If you want a part of the app to pay most attention to-- pick this one.

I've helped write many pieces of lore on the server, like the Necromancer rewrite, Shade rewrite, multiple event lores that can be disclosed more privately if the team would like. I've also helped with different Wraith lore posts, and I have many more ideas to present that I would hope to contribute to the server's environment. Often times I have many ideas and put them down in lists, looking forward to doing them another time when they're needed. Sometime ago I helped with the original Kharajyr lore along with Xerdun, along with others.

Have you ever receive a Magical Blacklist, ban or other blacklist if so, please link it:

I've never been banned or blacklisted.

Please include a link of  anything you've wrote that you consider to be your best work, this does not have to be LotC related however it must be by your own hand:

Currently I don't believe I've posted much I single handedly wrote. I've old posts pertaining to my character's doings but most of what I've done is surrounding what others have posted, where as I assisted much of the way to helping them get developed and written. I look forward to possibly being able to do the same on the team if the opportunity calls. Thank you for the read.
