  1. Gathered with his fellow Ag'Karak, Thond Doomforged enjoyed watching the remains of the Norland forces give their final effort, a moment passes when he hears begging near him, as looked down and found a Norland soldier, with their leg shattered. This was not a brave warrior of Norland, and his weakness disgusted the Dark Dwarf. Thond handed his shield over to one of the surviving Doomforged soldiers with him and took his Maul in both hands as he brought it down upon the poor lad's ribs, silencing his pleads with the shattering of his bones. "T'is be a day of Reckonin' Umri, no time for mercy, for dere must be wrongs to right and grudges to settle wit' deh weight of me Hammer...Dormmar grant us strength"

  2. *A simple but well-written response is put upon the poster*

Accepted, Report to Thond Doomforged to recieve your uniform

  6. I fully agree, however it should be a gradual thing, no staff member should have to shelve a character they enjoy because they are people too. However I think the Staff team should go and speak with the other communities within LoTC to get a new point of view and perhaps see things in a different light, gaining a appreciation of all the wonderful details that this server has to bring.

Within the Grand City of Kal’Omith, the proud sons of Urguan have carved their home within the land of Axios. Protecting the Dwed people be the Grand Legion, fierce and loyal soldiers under the command of the Grand Marshall. However, upon the orders of Grand Marshall Oyvind Frostbeard, the Clans have been given control of their own Militaries. Answering to this call, Thond Doomforged, Grandson of Hodir Doomforged, has been selected to Marshall the forces of the Doomforged. Shortly after this, letters arrive at all surviving Doomforged to return to the Grand City in order to fill the Ag’Karak’s ranks, for the enemies of Urguan still live and to rebuild their depleted clan so it may endure the hardships to come.

The newly formed Ag’Karak or The Sons of Dormmar, it named after the Lord of Flesh himself are seeking every Doomforged to serve within their ranks. Vengeance and death shall be had to the enemies of the Clan and the enemies of the Dwed. The fearsome banners gather, vicious well-crafted suits of armor-clad against the dark skin of the Doomforged as they seek to do what needs to be done, where the other clans might falter, the Ag’Karak does not relent. Those who have wronged the Dwed shall be punished a hundred fold. Only the strong may find success and glory within their ranks, those who lack the will to endure shall be shattered and left broken. Do you think you have what it takes to fight in Dormmar’s name? What does it take to strike fear and terror against those who wronged your people? Then come meet Thond Doomforged at the Doomforged Clan hall.

    Rules
The Rules of the Ag’Karak have been gathered and written upon Tablets of Stone. These stone are simply known as the Stones of Woe. These commandments shall be obeyed at all times or face Punishment.
The Stone of Loyalty-  No Doomforged shall disobey the Tenets of the Clan, The Ag’Karak are not above anyone within the clan, we are all equals and all shall be punished equally.
The Stone of Strength- No Doomforged shall show Cowardice or Weakness, Clan Doomforged shall not tolerate such, should you deny a duel or refuse to fight. You shall be punished as decreed by the Clan.
The Stone of Retaliation- Never forgive or forget any slight that is made to the Clan and the people of Urguan. Even during times of peace, always be prepared to right the wrongs
The Stone of Sorcery- Beware the Necromancer, Slay the Undead, they are an affront to our Paragon; Urir Doomforged. Those who dare delve into such powers or seek to shall be killed on sight. Give them no mercy for they gave our people none.
The Stone of Leadership- Do not abuse your position or use it to lord over other of your kin. All Doomforged are equal in the eyes of Dormmar, The leadership of the Ag’Karak is only law on the battlefield, and must act completely to better the clan and not act in their own self-interest.

Proving their prowess and loyalty to the Clan, they have earned the blessing of the Lord of Flesh and as such, have a collection of runes carved into their body, to protect their soul and strengthen their resolve as they serve as the Vanguard of the Clan and as it’s Guardians. (note: The Runes are purely spiritual and provide no actual benefit)

Veterans of the Ag’Karak, these warriors are often the protectors of the Dorthrumm as well as their advisors and second in Command. They have received a collection of runes over the course of a successful military Career within the Ag’Karak. Dorthrumm:
The Leader of the Ag’Karak, They are the most loyal and stalwart of the Doomforged. They have been elected by the Clan to lead the Ag’Karak and should they falter in their duties, shall be replaced. They have final say on matters of the Ag’Karak and are able to promote and demote soldiers, as well as organize any large scale raid or siege against the enemies of the Clan and the Dwed.

    OOC Info:

This is a Doomforged Only Military, only those who are a part of the Doomforged Clan may join the Ag’Karak, any exceptions would be extremely rare.

Our organization is based around the Doomforged Clan, which shall be linked below, I recommend looking at the rules and reading up on the lore before applying.

  8. As someone who has Severe Arachnophobia, I hate that you dare try to bring a humanoid version of those GODLESS EIGHT LEGGED ABOMINATIONS to this server, I hope they devour your young and burn with the rage of a thousand suns...

But honestly this looks really cool and I like the idea! Good work! +1

The fact that soulfire can essentially one hit kill dark creatures is incredibly overpowered (yeah I realize that the clerics have essentially the same thing, but that’s hopefully going to be altered as well). Dark magic, regardless of if it’s offensive or not, should be able to squelch the flames that are on them with their abilities. Or some other balancing measure should be put in place.

I am a pretty new player, but I do have something to say about this point. The Soul Fire is meant to counter the Dark creatures that the Ascended are made to fight against. Light vs. Dark, so while Dark Magic seems to hurt and damage just about EVERYTHING. The Soul Fire only damages and affects Tainted Souls, doing jack diddly squat to the average man. Perhaps a more detailed scale of the power of Soulfire would be useful. Someone who has Tier 5 Soulfire being able to one hit kill most Dark Creatures except the more higher tier creatures, which it would deal a good amount of damage still, whereas a newly made Ascended with Tier 1 could probably greatly harm a lesser Dark Creature and dealing decent damage to the more mid-tear Dark Creatures. There is also the fact that the Ascended's Soul Fire has a rather short range, meaning that if you are the Great Dark Lord of Angst, just keep your distance and therefore don't have to worry about them.

  10. As someone who is starting to get involved with the Ascended, I find the lore and RP aspect of them extremely interesting. There is a vast number of dark and neutral options given, so the good-aligned nature of the Ascended without being boy scouts in tights. The Ascended seem to be an Iconic and unique part of the Lord of the Craft setting, so they deserve to get the same amount of attention as other magics.

Honestly, the main issue I have with this document is how daunting it is to read. I recommend keeping the lore and clarifications but have a more mechanical section to it with basic fluff, the Red Lines, the Pros, and Cons. I believe this would make it easier for Ascended players to just pull up a page for their magic, or for staff members to check their skills to make sure their actions are legit.

    BEWARE THE DEEP ROADS!

Attention Citizens of Kal'Omith, an army of the Undead has been pouring from the ancient city of Kal'Nikaer; Ruins of the Dwedmar people that lie deep within the Deep roads, By the Orders of Commander Gorum Frostbeard, the gate to the Deep roads have been closed off for the protection of our grand city. Members of the Legion that wish to investigate the issue, do not travel alone! and beware of traps and make sure the gate is either closed or well protected during such incursions.
