Quick question, what Shaman archetypes are we talking here? Just you Mog or the others as well?

I'm wonder this aswell. Although the archtype i'd like one of my characters to be taught [because it fits with my character] the teacher has all the apprentices he can have, so I have to wait and eventually see if he can teach me. Self taught is stupid, I want to be told to go to the edge of the world to get water.

So how much damage would a golden sword do to a fully diamod armored person? If the 100 stealth 100 unarmed can do at least half heart to a fully diamond armored man, i expect at least 2 hearts for a golden sword? Or else unarmed and stealth can just walk into Oren and take on the entire guard. Unarmed and stealth is the perfect tank, but if it can do damage on par with a sword it's just game breaking hurhur.

Monks are changing. Why are the monks now threatening to not heal people? I thought that went against your entire order? Also, since when do monks use weapons? I thought that was also kinda against your order? :/

Do the monks have lore regarding how everyone trusts them so much? Not to be rude but when I first came to Aegis I was told monks are good and you should trust them, and now in Asulon I was also told to trust them, but what I do not understand is who really are these monks? Where did they come from and how did they get so trusted?

One more minor thing. Is monk healing different from Clerical healing? Or is it the same thing?

Additional information: Explosives expert. Can speak common fluently and speak the Blah fluently. A master at Tinkering with anything.

I agree if you are 100 you shouldn't fail at cook, crafting or repairing. 100 means LEGENDARY, not <You fail 7% at crafting and repairing Iron stuff>. I agree 300 is reasonable for we are adding 2 new skills. To solve the grinding problem why not give players 300? There is seriously no point of grinding. If people want to grind, let them but give people the chance to be good at the skills they want. Some people like grinding and add it to their RP. Nobody is forced to use credits, but people are forced to grind. . . not really fair IMO.

Now for the combat skills. First off people complain that Axe Mastery is very OP when it isn't. It is all about the chance to hit and chance to proc a crit. While swords can rarely be broken by an axe they can parry and counter, very defensive and has a 75% chance to hit. Wrestling? Blocks arrows like mad and is only good if wearing diamond so therefore it should stay the way it is. Axe Mastery needs to be able to hit more that 65% since the damage is based around hitting. Swords are fine and wrestling is fine.

Crafting. Oh boy another dreadful topic. I have 100 blacksmithing and I failed to repair an Iron Axe 3 times. . . ok seems legit? How bout crafting with diamond? You get crap durability when crafting it and it will most likely fail. Change it so miners get diamond ore not diamonds? You can replace the blocks and get a 100% chance to get the diamond. People have abused that and now diamonds are very abundant! What was once 75% chance to get diamonds is now 100% chance. While Blacksmiths are crafting those diamonds and failing, miners are making huge profit just abusing the glitch and selling diamonds to Blacksmiths... really unfair IMO.

Edit: A 100 miner shouldn't need 100 excavation to mine deep!

I'd like to note that mining should be in gathering and not processing. You gather materials with mining, and in order to even mine deep you need excavation.

Listen to the community. Having 100 gathering and you're suddenly the best fisherman farmer lumberjack digger around? Or 100 combat and suddenly you are a martial artist who uses and axe and sword? Even processing, suddenly a blacksmith is the best miner and cook? I seriously hope this does not get implemented if it is going to be grouped like that :/

Essentially it's removing all skills, and making the new ones - which cover everything the old things do.

We remove swords, axes and archery - and fill the gap with "Combat".

I do not like that. I say keep it as is.

Why put the skills in groups? I do not get it. What is the advantage of having them in different groups? If you have all gathering skills you get a perk or something? Or is it just a way to organize it?

Splash potions? Yes or no?

Everything is good. Still a little sketchy on the sneak though. Im sure after some server testing if anything is wrong the damage could be reduced or increased. Either way Herbalism is what i've been waiting for. Vaq are all potions going to be able to be crafted now or just healing?

I doubt I can mess it up, considering axe mastery can already 2 hit someone. The bonus DMG will be more for PvE, while the sneaking will be for PvP.

It's rare for Axes to 2 hit someone considering gold axes miss 40% of the time and considering the crit chance against swords which can parry and counter and wrestlers that block everything. Sneak is only useful for War really. In order to start PvP with someone you need RP leading up to it so it would be hard to hit from behind when they expect it. Either way I will have sneak so I can 1 shot people with a double crit hurhur :3

During the escape from Aegis, a elven woman gave birth to a boy. The father called the boy Jack and handed him back to the comfort of his mother. Years later the family had settled down in a quiet Cabin on the plains. The boy known as Jack was surprisingly healthy and was living a good life… until the Orcs attacked. Jack’s family was enslaved; they worked in the mines to dig up minerals for the Orcs. However, his mother wasn’t as lucky as she was taken away from Jack and his father to be a mate to one of the Orcs. Jack was too young to understand what was really happening and his father did all he could to protect his child’s life. Jack’s father would take his son’s beatings whenever he failed mining. This later took a great toll on his father for his body started to become weak.

As the child grew accustomed to the digging and mining his father started to devise a plan with the other slaves. They wanted to escape this everyday torture. However, the Orcs caught wind of their plan and were ready to punish the slaves who wanted to rebel and escape. Jack’s fathers as well as the rest of the slaves that wanted freedom were taken to an arena. Little did Jack know his father was to fight in the arena against the other slave; a great free-for-all match. While the slaves prepared to fight, Jack dropped his pickaxe. The Orcs who watched over the slaves mining did not like it at all and with Jack’s father not there, he was not protected from his punishment. The Orcs took turns beaten ‘sense’ into Jack, scarring his body and breaking minor bones. During this Jack’s father was fighting a vicious free-for-all against the slaves and was the last man standing. As the Orcs let Jack recover a bit so he can resume mining an Orc stepped into the arena. Jack’s father was challenged to an honor klomp by an Orc. His father, still bruised and weakened by the free-for-all could barely stand when the Orc came charging at him. Jack weakly began to stand up as an Orc turned around and kicked the side of his head knocking him unconscious. Jack’s father was killed during the fight, the arena events still unknown to Jack. As Jack awoke, two Orcs stood over him like mountains over a flower. Jack had no idea what was happening, the knock to the head damaged his memory of his family. As Jack arose seemingly unafraid of the Orcs towering over him, he turned around picked up a pickaxe and began to mine.

The Orcs who watched the slave and issued punishment were rather curious of Jack, for he was not scared of the Orcs like the others were. The the knock to the head must’ve damaged his senses for Jack’s pain tolerance was almost as great as an Orcs. Some of the Orcs began to treat him less like a slave as time passed. As the years passed and the mine became clear of minerals the slaves were moved elsewhere. However Jack was not. The Orcs had further use for him. It was if the Orcs treated him like a cub now, but of course an Orc would never treat a human as an Orc. Jack was later named by the Orcs, the name they gave him was, Jazz. Jazz began to become interested in Orc culture, completely forgetting his own culture. While Orc elders told stories around the fire, Jazz would listen very closely as he cooked food for the Orcs. Jazz listened to Orcs speak and through many years he learned the Uruk Blah. Some Orcs treated Jazz like a slave still and others treated him differently. Jazz was sent to the shaman grove in the War Uzg to help. Jazz was taught about herbs and what each herb did. Jazz enjoyed making healing powder and poisons. Jazz experimented with different poisons until he discovered a potent paralysis poison. He kept the small bottle around his neck with a bit of string for safe keeping. While Jazz was getting some supplies ready for a witchdoctor and Orc hit him over the head, causing him to be knocked unconscious. When Jazz awoke he was inside an arena across from an armed Orc. Jazz stood up, his head pounding. The Orc quickly charged at him, Jazz quickly rolled to the side to dodge. As the Orc missed he quickly stopped and charged again. Jazz quickly stood up as the jingle of the bottle wrapped around his neck was heard by him. Without warning Jazz grabbed the bottle but it was too late, the Orc tackled Jazz onto the ground. The Orc noticed the bottle and laughed, grabbed it and drank it thinking it was a strength potion to help Jazz fight. The paralysis worked quickly and the Orc lost all feeling and collapsed. Jazz weakly stood up, looking to the crowd of Orcs as they cheered. Jazz knew what he had to do to please the Orcs watching, he grabbed the Orc’s axe and began to hack at the Orcs neck until his head rolled around on the arena floor.

Year 53, Jazz being accepted by most Orcs as one of their own now. Jazz has been working with herbs as well as mining for Orcs for years now. His body covered in scars and strange paint markings, and his face covered by a painted wooden mask. Jazz still lacks the memory of his parents.

What are your Character's ambitions?:

Find many shinies and share them with Uruks. Create vile poisons and helpful potions. Create many, many masks for himself for certain situations for although it is not hinted at in the biography he is really interested in war paint and painting masks. Make the Uruks proud, one way or the other.

Whilst traveling from the Cloud Temple you see a small halfling, being harassed by two armed warriors. They appear to be trying to steal money from him, how does your character respond?:

Jazz knows that Halfing’s are a delicacy for Orcs and does not care if the Halfling were to be killed, however Jazz knows the two men lack honor in what they are doing and would step in to break up the dispute. If the two do not stop, Jazz would walk away and inform a nearby Uruk that there is a Halfling about to be killed, hoping that the Uruk would kill all three of them.

Your character wanders into Alras, and comes across a small stall, behind which a well dressed man is standing. He’s offering various wares, the merchant turns to you and says in a posh accent " 'ello there, what can I do you for today?" What is your character response?:

Wonders why he would walk into Alras while the Orcs and Dwarves are at war. Jazz would not carry minas on him for he does not care about wealth like most greedy humans do. He would not even respond to the man for he considers it dishonorable to do trade with anyone affiliated with Dwarves while they are at war with the almighty Orcs.

You hear word that bandits occupy the road outside the town in which you have been staying. The town guard have gathered, and are asking for assistance to help eliminate them. The leader of the party is offering a reward for any who offer their support. How does your character act on this information?:

Jazz would offer his assistance if the reward was anything but minas. If the reward was minas and minas only Jazz would not offer his assistance and would walk away ignoring the town guard. If the reward wasn’t minas he would agree to assist them and prepare to fight the bandits with his machete. If the town happened to be affiliated with Dwarves, Jazz wouldn’t even bother to be around and leave.

I like how when georgebg makes the topic about ripping your beards off you all go and -1 his post because of immaturity but when you make the post you have +8. Orcs must be more mature then hurhur. Also de-tusking an Orc is a perma-kill so good luck trying to get anyone to do that.
