Lore should definitely be restricted and set in stone by the lore team. If people wish to 'suggest' lore and not 'propose' lore that shouldn't be an issue and if that wish to be so heavily involved in the LotC lore then they can simply submit an app to join the LT.

Crafting restrictions and leveling systems should be in place to perpetuate role playing If everyone can do everything than it becomes much harder to regulate power-gaming. If I can wield diamond everything and craft the diamond gear then it leads to a collapse in economy and exhausts role playing possibilities that were only possible with crafting restrictions and leveling systems.

How long have you been doing it? What kind?:I know role-playing as a form of gaming in which you immerse yourself into the world of which you are going to be emulating a fictional character. Once you immerse yourself you begin to change your own personality, behaviors, word choice, and thoughts into the character you are trying to become. You must become your character and do everything in your power to stay in character. From the second you begin to role-play you do not stop acting like your character even if your own body and mind disagree. That is true role-playing. I have role-played on LotRO and WoW for 5+ years and was in several top WoW Rp guilds in which some RP events lasted 12 hours. I have also played Dungeons and Dragons since I was young and know how to stay in character both virtually and face to face. It's speculated that his mother died giving birth to him and his father was an alcoholic. What is known about Maximus is that he was adopted by a military man, when he was six after staying in an orphanage as long as he could remember. This military man forced his newly adopted son to work upon his estate as a slave rather than a son. The estate owners wife, who had a kind heart, had seen potential in Maximus taught him to read and write which would prove to be a mistake. Maximus was an intelligent boy and decided to soak up all the knowledge he could. Maximus continued to work on the estate for almost a decade reading every book he could get his hands on when he was not tending to the animals or plowing the fields. In his readings he had stumbled across a few concepts of freedom and citizenship which made him yearned for more out of his life. He wanted to be free and enjoy the things in life that a man should enjoy. He didn't wish to work on an estate till he was old and grey. So Maximus prepared for a way he could seize freedom for himself. He spent nearly an entire year drawing extensive maps of the estate. He studied these maps day in and day out. He began to teach himself the basics of wielding a weapon for he only knew the outside world from the novels he read thinking it was filled with wild beasties. When dawn had broken on the day he was to escape his master was off running drills at a fort distant to the estate. Maximus had let none of the other workers in on the situation. While in the estate field being watched over by the guard. Maximus stood up and tried to plead his case with the guard. The guard refused and slashed at Maximus leaving a cut against his abs. The guard swung once more but Maximus filled with adrenaline blocked the blow with his sword he had masked in his attire. The guard, never having thought Maximus had a weapon nor the skills to use one backed up. Maximus pleaded one more time with blood pouring from his abdomen. The guard refused and dug his back foot into the ground. He launched forward and extended his body to make contact with Maximus. Maximus saw the blow coming but due to the injury he was sustaining could not move in time. As a result he had suffered one more serious injury to his arm. The on looking slaves began to surround the guard and Maximus. Maximus now drooping over like a withering flower began to muster the strength to swing his sword at the guard who was now standing to his left. Maximus fainted as he began his down stroke. He awoke in a structure that resembles a temple. What happened? Where is he?
