You've been at odds with Helix for months now and I've yet to speak to anyone who appreciates your jabbing, you're either lying or delusional if you think you were just having harmless banter and it was all in good fun and the majority of people laugh along with you.

I'd rather not have this discussion with people who kick others from communities for leaking questionable cyber logs. You may have your baseless opinion, Leo.

Edit: If Broken was not willing to be told to also find a noose, he should not have told me.

I honestly thought he wasn't that bad, but ever since Axios he's been incredibly toxic in every chat I've been in with him. He goes out of his way to jab, berate and bait people and harbours an OOC hatred for playerbases like Oren that I just can't fathom. Forum posts and skype logs like this are exactly the kind of OOC-inspired petty attitude he has.

He appears professional at first but quickly shows his true colours once things don't go his way. An all around immature person I really don't want to see as a GM. Strong -1 from me.

I admit that to an outsider these seem pretty bad but Brokenhelix was at one point an old friend of ours. We played modpacks and we would hang out in Teamspeak and such.

These are jokes between once(?) friends.

My jabs at Orenians are also fairly lackluster. I've been known to play other games with people of all nations. That RP post is also an attempt at humor. It's evident by the fact that some people seemed to enjoy it. I even showed it to some crow and Lorraine guys.

In other words, nice try, Leo. You're hardly a figure of professionalism either.

Edit: Upon looking at these Skype logs attempting to "expose" me, lol. In all of these gyazos you see the people around me joking as well.

What is something you have always wanted to change on the server?:
Many of the things that I have wanted to change involve the inner workings of the staff team, protocols with giving certain assistance to players, and the mechanical competency of staff members.

When I say protocols with giving certain assistance to players, I am mostly talking about things like wars, raids, giving LC or not giving LC, and such things. The team should be set up in a way that understands that bias is inevitable and it should not allow it to get in the way of productivity. In other words, I’d like to remove the idea of “mod shopping” and “admin shopping” unless we have complete and total faith in every member of the team.

While I do understand the reasoning behind having primarily only admins do regioning on Axios, I think that certain GMs should be given the green light to make them and work with them. Particularly if they understand how both the regions and the charter system works when it comes to them.

If I were on the team, I would expect all of my peers to be capable of using commands effectively. Although I’m a very fast learner, I would expect my peers to put in the same amount of effort into learning how the plugin commands work as I would.

Certain teams should just be abolished and condensed into teams that don’t have as much on their plate.

What is something you would like to change on the game moderator team?:
I listed what I would change in the previous question since most of what I’d like to change on the server involves the GM team.

    What are your finest qualities?:
I’m a fast learner. I practically still know all the commands. I’d just have to go through /lb help a bit and everything would come back to me. I’m good with World Edit and regioning. I wouldn’t need to be trained. I’d just be a member of the team and ready to work on the project that I’d need to work on.

I have initiative. I come up with my own work if there isn’t anything to be found. I’m capable of working with every team by putting myself into their mentalities.

I'd like to say that I've been on the team and know how it is setup. I have been told that the team has been changed to the point that GMs aren't really capable of anything anymore. Maybe that's for the best but maybe it isn't. Either way, I've been on the team before so whoever was on the team alongside me during this point could vouch me.

What are your worst qualities, and how could you improve these aspects?:
My worst qualities are that I am always focused around working. I’m not a very fun person to be around. If the team or team members are not all working on something, I get anxious and begin to grow irritated.

What members of the current staff could you look to for guidance?: I don’t look to very many of the current staff members on any team for guidance but I am glad that Dizzy and Dohvi got admin. Dohvi was a good friend of mine in Asulon, during that time I saw that he was capable of making logical decisions but also able to emotionally connect with people. When he applied to the GM team, I supported him immensely for these reasons. This turned out to be a good thing. I can only assume that if he’d not been in charge of the charter system after I left that it would have turned out even worse than it did.

Dizzy was the first GM I met when I got trial in Athera. He trained me with some commands that the brief training we’d been given looked over. He helped me out with a situation where orcs were raiding a particular fort and I liked the way he did it. He wasn’t unfair to the raiders and he wasn’t unfair to the people being attacked. He was a bit inactive in my eyes during this time but inactivity can always be fixed. Attitude problems, egos, etc are much more difficult.

Who do you not get along with on the current team?:

I’ll just say that I don’t like Leric but we’re both capable of speaking to each other and laughing together in Teamspeak. I don’t doubt that we could still work with each other though.

How much free time do you have? Will this change in the foreseeable future?: I am always free. Last time I was on the team I even gave my number to admins and certain GMs in case they needed me in the rare cases that I was unreachable. Tuesday and Thursday I am at school but I have set my hours so that I get out in the early afternoon.

Damai heard of the new name of the Dreadlands, a chuckle escaping his mouth as the Sirame spoke with each other. "The so called 'elves' that are with them are not actually elves. The warhawkes are just filthy Chikr whom power issues. They are literally in it for their own greed and they will realize what a real Mali is when the Sirame come and **** 'em up.

Ereinion works with his fellow Peacepigeons in the land granted to them by their new white overlords. He takes a break from toiling in the rice field that Oren permitted him to work at to respond to his fellow prisoner, "If you believe yourself superior in combat, I challenge you to an honorable duel of equal armaments. I would like to see what you can—"

Ereinion is interrupted by the snap of a whip with a handle that is branded with the Catholi— Canonist cross. He goes back to working the rice fields like a good dark elf.

  5. I can confirm. At one point, they were broken for non-donors and worked for VIP.

However, redstone pillars being only a VIP thing breaks EULA so they have to be available for everyone. So I think in their attempt to fix it so that everyone has them, they broke it for donors too. Don't know.

But anyways, can confirm redstone pillar creation is BUSTED.

  6. Remake it. The system wasn't followed in many cases. Regions have become a mess. Keep the tile system but figure something else out with how NLs get to make use of the tiles.

However, I can't say that the system isn't accomplishing what it was meant to. It wasn't followed correctly in the first place so it's obvious why it failed.

It's unknown what it could have accomplished if the system had actually been adhered to.

  7. A piece of **** when he wants to be but an actual productive member when he's not overdosing on salt. When Moot told us we needed a charter system, he was one of the only people who stepped up to make it with me.

He gets my support because he'll keep the rest of the team active and stop the echo chamber bullshit.

However, I would be lying if I didnt say that I'm worried of him playing favorites for Oren.

He gets stuff done but sometimes the **** he gets done benefits only his own nation.

  8. Don’t fear the forest. Don’t fear the shadows. Don’t fear the wanderer.

    Avenaer’ante.

These are the warnings that Warhawkian mothers once gave their children long ago. The young ones grew without fear of the forests. They mounted the pines, they leaped from branch to branch, and they knew not to show fear.

It would know if you were scared. It would come for you.

The forest outside Riv’vallel would stand still. An eerie discomfort would follow any who would enter it. A feeling of being observed. A feeling of being watched by something just outside their vision.

    A feeling of being hunted.

    Avenaer’ante.

    GQobhnt.jpg

The Warhawkes will be journeying into the forest to investigate what attacked their fire-haired brother. This will be one of many expeditions.

What is something you have always wanted to change on the server?:

Removing power from individuals who are inactive.

Communication is a problem within the GM team as evident by the leaks. This can only be fixed by having GM team members who are aware of what is needed.

What is something you would like to change on the game moderator team?:

I would like to change what sort of individuals get chosen to be on the GM team eventually. There are many poor choices in my opinion. A pattern can be seen with who I believe are poor choices. (They are all horrifically disconnected to contemporary LOTC events. They are clueless and hellbent on irrelevant topics. Their information is horribly outdated.)

    What are your finest qualities?:

I like taking part in everything. As a GM the last time, I'm sure I was known for involving myself in anything that I could get involved with. I like suggesting ideas to appropriate teams. I like brainstorming with fellow team members. I like writing notes and doing **** that most people don't like to do. Although I can be narcissistic, I am also capable of compromising with individuals that are difficult to work with. I believe this is a necessary skill on the GM team because some individuals with more power simply will not budge on certain decisions.

I've a been a GM before on here and I've been a staff member for an insane amount of time on oc.tc. I have the experience. I know what large playerbase need and how a moderator must act.

I'm good with info dumps. I'm good with regions, commands, etc. I've already been trained on the plugins once. I'd just need to be trained with the new stuff which should be easy to do. Either way, I'd be able to get back to work easily and pick up from when I left in late October.

Ask people who were on the team while I was on the team. I think that's the best way to get who I am instead of this app. This is a hurried one since my last one got deleted.

What are your worst qualities, and how could you improve these aspects?:

I'm narcissistic in the sense that I truly believe that mostly all of my opinions are the correct ones. Mostly because they are always researched and have good evidence to back them up. I also will not budge on individuals bending rules even if the rules are moronic. This is a bad trait because many rules and systems on LOTC are poorly thought out.

What members of the current staff could you look to for guidance?:

My app that got deleted cited Benbo and Geo, Dizzy, Supremacy, and Dohvi. I'll quickly paraphrase on why.

When I was a GM, I strongly supported Dohvi as a GM. I believed he had what it took to be unbiased and work efficiently. I was good friends with him in Asulon and saw many aspects of his personality that would work well for him as a GM. He was a logical individual but capable of emotional sympathizing.

One of the first days of my trial in Athera, the first GM I ran into was a Dizzy. He ran me through the commands so well that I never forget them. I remember him being very genuine and even told me about how down he was that he was one infraction away from being removed. I believe this was a humble thing to do. He told a new GM about his mistakes so that I wouldn't make the same ones. I will be honest in that I do not believe he should be an admin, however. I don't think he is as connected to the server as he could be. [Edit 8/29: I'm sure he'll prove himself eventually. He's already helped quite a bit more than I've gotten from any other admins. Quickly too.]

Benbo/Geo. I pair them together because of their dedicated work on the Kha. That is literally the only reason for why I look up to them. As GMs, they have not impressed me at all. I will be honest in that. They are dedicated individuals when they want to be but they did not display that for me in the GM team.

Supremacy counts as staff because he's in the LT. He is yet another controversial individual but I look up to him for some of the same reasons as Benbo and Geo. A dedicated individual capable of quite a bit when he wants to be that person. He can very easily be dumb and counterproductive though (as much as I like the guy and consider him a good friend, it is a fact.)

Who do you not get along with on the current team?:

Maybe Leric? I didn't like him for quite some time. I'm generally willing to work with just about anyone though. Even if I do not like them.

How much free time do you have? Will this change in the foreseeable future?:

I have all the time in the world, literally. I only stepped down the last time because of my grandfather's passing away that made me irritable. I noticed this and stepped down. I also stepped away from the server for some months because I argued with Will that night. I feel bad for that.

  10. Ereinion, in the comfort of his tent, sets a map on the noticeboard of the camp so that people can easily make their way around Riv’vallel. It shows important locations and the roads.

They’d arrived in the rain. They were elves of both dark and light skin. Their silhouettes could be seen by the Dreadlanders as they worked tirelessly. Their pride had not allowed them to rest. The walls, their totems and their tents erected throughout the night.

    eY6IOPQ.png

These people were the Warhawkes of Asulon, Athera, Vailor. Now they were the Warhawkes of Axios. On that rainy night, the Warhawkes labored for more than just their own well-being. Their thoughts were on the creation of something larger than them. Together they built more than their physical home. They built a concept that would be eternal, endless, and everlasting. Like their bloodlines, the home of the Warhawkes would remain for as long as it was cared for.

    nYJXV3f.png

The water had dried by the time the sun had risen the next morning. The cries of hawks awoke the settlers for the first day of the rest of their lives on Axios. The sun peaked from the canopy of the nearby forest.

Riv’vallel was now open to all dark elves and other individuals who could prove themselves worthy.

It is suggested to send word to Riv’vallel if one were to believe themselves of Warhawke blood.

  12. Hail friends of Malinor!

As most of you know, the roleplay engine broke on Friday at 8pm EST. However, rather than keeping the server on Minecraft as per usual, we will be hosting it on Roblox. We are presently facing technical issues on our Minecraft server, removing it as a viable option.

Since many of you likely don’t have Roblox, a download link can be found here. You can also access it if you strain your brain really hard.

The link to connect to the Roblox server is here.

I will be leaving this unlocked in case there are questions about how to download or utilize Roblox. Apologies for any inconveniences this change causes!

17th of the Amber Cold, 1567

Within the walls of the Warhawke Keep, a small council of Warhawkes come to the conclusion of writing a letter addressed to all members of the Ebonglade.

"I do not pretend to know the will of Malin, nor do I claim to walk in his path. My father was a troubled man. He fought for many leaders. The battles in which he partook were dwarfed by the battles he fought within himself.

Perhaps the greatest wisdom that any parent can pass onto their child is the truth that everyone is just as much a person as you are. They have their own desires and their own feuds. This is where elves have failed.

We have failed to see that we are all the same. The elves of Laurelin mark Haelun’or as evil for the murder of mali when they allowed a schism within the land of ker that it has never recovered from. This schism was unwanted even by the greater powers of the world. When the dark children of Malin separated, the world threw a tantrum. Khel’igne erupted in fury at the sight of the ker moving in separate directions.

I am a Warhawke but I am also a ker. An exiled ker but a ker nonetheless. Our numbers continue to grow but our minds are no longer on simply the well-being of our own.

The Warhawkes do not harbor any anger towards the remaining denizens of the Ebonglade as proven by our assistance in the city last Elven night.
The Warhawkes offer a lapis branch of unification to Dak’ir and the ker beneath his name."

The signatures of the two Chieftains are written at the bottom of the open letter.

  14. Two things:

    1) Warclaims. We’ve had issues with warclaim lag at previous warclaims. Some LotCers lobbied to bring them back for 5.0, feeling that they deserved another chance. That was a mistake. Warclaims are an ass, and we won’t be working with them again.

    2) As long as we’re removing things, we are also removing the PVP that we’ve been told is cancerous on Vailor. It will be replaced, and we hope to get this turned around before 5.0.
As always, I can be reached at [email protected]
