Out-Of-Character:
Minecraft Account Name: Angrboden
Did you attend minecon and sign up at the LOTC booth?: No, sorry.
How old are you?: Sixteen.
Time-Zone/Country of Residence: Alberta, Canada. (Mountain time.)
Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Not usually. I normally don't type this literate, but I've started practicing and training myself. For the sake of starting to RP again. So... It should be fixed soon.
Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm a little bit shy and reclusive, often spending all of my free time at home and with my family. I was never as big with RPing as my sister, simply because I was unsure about the social factor, but I always enjoyed it. :)
How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I'm not sure, but probably at least an hour a night when it's really active.
What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: My sister always referred to it as a mix between acting and story-writing. It's taking a character, original or not, and placing yourself in their perspective and acting as them.
In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is using out of character information that you know to influence the actions and knowledge of your character. Powergaming, (referred to as godmodding where I used to RP) is performing RP actions that are beyond common sense and fairness in the situation. Both are against the universal rules in RP.
What do you expect this server will be like?: I have no idea what to expect, but the community seems kind enough that I'd be surprised if it's an uncomfortable atmosphere.
What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: No online MC servers. =/ I let my sister use my account, then after a bit it essentially became hers. I never had the time to really do much on the game.
Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes. ^_^ Most of them rely on common sense and courtesy anyway.
How did you hear about us?: From my sister, Melissa. (Maeghan on here.)
Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you? Yup, 3,499.
What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Login is A.McAndrew, display name is RememberHer.
In-Character:
Character Name: Einion (Classical meaning, 'anvil' or 'born of anvil')
What is your Race?: Originally an elven prisoner, used to make a Red Golem.
Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): When the dwarves of ancient times came to the great Caverns of Menorcress, a number of them skirmished with the Mori'Quessir- small conflicts that rarely ended with victory for the dwarven kind, considering their unfamiliarity with the strange lands and the warfare used therein.
And so, to try to secure a truce with the cave elves, the dwarves gifted to them a number of golems made from captured enemy soldiers in past conflicts on the surface. Einion was one of these constructs, his plating that of the ancient dwarven nation and it's respects. He was gifted to the Mierillis clan, with stern directions to follow it's matron and place her as his Impera.
The peace was short lasted, and the dwarves eventually died off- along with their other brothers of the surface who would arrive during the ages to come. But golems never die.
After being ordered by his current Impera, a time later, to take an instrumental role in a political powerplay he was defeated by the enemy clan and was subsequently was caught in a cave-in they orchestrated. Considered to be lost along with the other Mori, the matron paid him little mind as she continued on with her goals.
Now, millennia later, something sparked him back to attention, something kicked the ancient construct back into life. What it could have been was a question that was kicked aside in his mind- his only goal now was to find the Mierillis matron, and resume his directive with her as his Impera.
Your characters ambitions: He has none- unable to divert from his directive to serve the Clan Mierillis Matron.
Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? He would be unable to take any action unless ordered, or if the elf was a Mori of the clan. If either of these two cases were met, he would spring into action as fast as his slow moving form could carry him, and attempt to fight the bandits off with slow, titanic swings of his ancient and weighty iron limbs.
Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? A stare. And silence. Horrible, droning, silent stare. Burning into the shop keepers soul. Staring. STARING. HORRIBLE. WRENCHING STARE.
...
Until either ordered otherwise, or the shopkeeper drops his attempt to barter.
